Varuna Gezgin Cafe - Ankara - Tunalı

This is one of our favorite local spots. It has great beers and food plus a really cool look to the place. The menu has a lot of tasty international dishes. My favorite is the Pad Thai with shrimp (and extra egg). It's delicious and very filling. My wife likes the salmon avocado wrap which is really great too.

Not every place get my 5 stars. You should be sure this place is special. Love the authentic and cosy atmosphere. The beer is a bit expensive though. I heard for the first Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Mustt Mustt played here one evening, that tells me someone making the playlists got a great taste.

A typically busy coffee-beer-food joint close to Tunali region. They offer good quality food for reasonable prices. They have one of the best selection of beers in the city. People say that many of them are not available any given time but we found what we wanted :)
In the future, I would also love to also visit them for an evening outing.

I loved this pub. My friend took me there and the service was amazing. We ordered Turkish craft beer and it was so good and waiter brought us olives and popcorn for free. Thank you for amazing hospitality!

Varuna is definitely my favourite place in Ankara. It has a cosy, welcoming vibe with good decor and a mix of people. The staff is great too. Good offers on drinks during the week. Food is generally good but not always consistent.

This is the place:
1. to start your day off with a hearty breakfast
2. to spend all day idling, reading, working while having your coffee or tea
3. to have a selection of delicacies from around the world for lunch or dinner. There's not a huge variety of food, but what is available is made to perfection (i.e. pad Thai, tikka masala, falafel...)
4. to watch a sports game while sipping on your beer.
5. to meet up with friends, or go out on a date, or just mingle with other visitors like yourselves
The staff are so welcoming, lively and lovely and all that I'm feeling like I'm home whenever I go there.
Their happy hour prices great and real tasty green olives come alongside your beers as appetizers. 10 stars over 10.

Price performance quality. I highly recommend you to taste the Homemadw Meatballd, fresh and tasty! Beer was also good, cozy place!!

A cool place to sit and relax while enjoying the breakfast or another meal. Staff is friendly. A humble place to be. Very close to Tunali Hilmi street.
