A high end dinning place, nested in old Izmir right on the see bank. The general area of the restaurant is very touristy having many restaurants and many shops. The cobble stone streets of the old town give a very romantic look to the place. Even the exterior of the place stands out in the area. It is very bright and fully lightened. From inside the place is very Royal, many known personalities have dinned at this place and their pictures are hung on the wall. It has an extensive Turkish menu, I cannot spell names of the Turkish dishes but everything was toooo good. I can safely say that this was the best food during my stay in Izmir. Prices were a bit higher but dinning at such a nice place compensated. A small observation, they should increase the number of toilets and these should be build up a new.

Food atmosphere and services were good but the prices are very very expensive, you can buy the same food in other restaurants in 1/3 price,
They offered dessert ,like baklava and ice cream with a irmik sweet

I was lucky enough to get seated without a reservation, since even on a regular tuesday evening the place was fairly busy.
Thats also my one concern: For me it was a little too crowded and busy, but i guess thats preference.
The trees growing through the roof were a real highlight.
Regarding the food i was pleasantly suprised that it was not only very fast, but also excellent. The lentil soup could have used a little more flavour, but my main dish was grilled perfectly and the sides served were also to my liking.
The service was attentive, however as in most restaurants i visited in Izmir: Communicating in english is not that easy.

Overall i would revisit!

Best dinner option in Izmir! We were waited on by Hazar and Beytullah, and they provided PHENOMENAL service. Special mention to their constant complimentary condiments! The food was amazing, the portions were generous, and the ambience was classy and relaxed. Highly recommended!

It is an amazing traditional Turkish restaurant. The food is superb, I really can not express how tasty, tender, and high-quality grilled meats they served! The meze was also very delicious, I especially loved the stuffed eggplant (halma). And the grilled lambs in all varieties were the best I ever had. I know already that I will dream about this place!

Higher class restaurant. Food was really really good and the service was top notch as well.
Menu is quite rich, you can find pretty much everything from the Turkish cuisine.
Prices are higher than average (>1000TL for two) but it’s totally worth it.

Amazing Türkish food. Went with a colleague from work who had had the place recommended. What a splendid experience. The menu is delicious and it's difficult to choose from the many options! We had a mixed plate for sharing and it was more than enough for the two of us. Staff was super friendly and attended to our needs very professionally. Super trendy decor and a nice feeling. The restaurant section we were in were with open roof to the night sky. Beautiful. Full of people when we arrived. If I visit the city again this would be a nice place to come back to.

Lovely place, beautiful decorations and good vibes. Amazing food I mean super delicious dishes and great service, brilliant staff they all knew the menu and were very professional. Strongly recommend. Don’t leave without trying the tea and dessert. I definitely will be going back.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to since my stay here. The food tastes delicious, and they serve a lot for one person. The staff is friendly and attentive to customers, and the decor is excellent; the restaurant is right next to the sea. It's on the higher end for locals but affordable for foreigners. Expect to spend between 500 to 1000 Turkish Lira (2023).

The food was not only amazing but also fresh, and the friendly staff added to the welcoming atmosphere. The baklava stood out as a must-try.

Really enjoyed my dinner at this restraunt, a truelyy good one among the few left. Not only was the main course, the meat dish, juicy and mouth-watering, the appetizer too was delicous. Besides the food the service provided was above par from my expectations,, Would definitely visit again and recommend to others!

- update : I came here again in the summer and the service was so bad even the prices went up as well as the quality of the food

Delicious! Very nice place, food was great and the waiters super polite. Only problem is that we found it in our last day in izmir! I want to repeat it!

Wow, this restaurant is world famous and understandable so. The only problem we encountered was not being offered a wine list besides the menu.
Which can be overwhelming as the staff starts immediately bringing food, that unless you consult the menu do not know is included.
We had lamb chops tgat were delicious. Would go there again. Now that I understand how the restaurant functions.
Its a beautiful location as well.

Cannot praise it more ! The lamb was probably the best lamb we have had! You have to try diced lamb in a pan ! It's the best ! But what made it even more a 5 star place to enjoy dinner is the service and atmosphere. Cetin was so friendly and made us felt like royalty! We came the first night in izmir and came back the last night again! Must try restaurant if you are coming to Izmir ! Come empty stomach ! If you can ask for Cetin to be your server, you will be serve well!

P.s I forgot to take photo of the food before devouring it. It was really good !

We had an amazing meal for two adults for 550Lira. We were firstly served with freshly made bread and appetizers free of charge with a salad. We ordered the slow-cooked lamb as you can see was very tender and pulled apart easily from the bone. The lamb could easily feed four adults with the extra bread etc. They also provided a free yoghurt drink Aryan which locals seem to have while dining here in Turkey! We then were served dessert (icecream with semolina helva and baklava), and Turkish tea. The customer service here was outstanding with every staff member playing their part perfectly and extremely attentive. Delicious meal for a very good price in 2022 approx 27GBP or $55 NZD.

I went with a group on 14 person and highly recommend this place. Located across the street of a beautiful broadwalk, this resturant has everything for your dinning pleasure. Out group shared one of the mixed meal which kept coming. The reception and service and meal was absolutely great. I would go back. I forgot to take pictures in between the conversation.

Super! I had been to this fantastic restaurant 11 years ago... the food is always excellent with traditional local recipes and they have also added alcoholic drinks which were not allowed years ago. As soon as you sit down they will bring you a small selection of typical appetizers then you will order the main course and they will bring you the mixed salad finally the chai and two typical desserts. Starters, salad, bazlama bread, water, salad, chai and desserts are offered on the house while the main course and extras are for a fee. Excellent as always.
