Dr Fikret is an incredible person! He gave me the biggest hug when I first saw him and I really needed that. I wish all doctors were as friendly as he is. He came to see me several times after the surgery explaining that everything went well.

I had my gastric sleeve operation 7 weeks ago today 15/3/21. I was very nervous and am an anxious person but the moment I met Dr. Fikret I felt at ease, he is one of the most genuine people I have met and I felt so happy I had him doing my surgery.
He explained everything and always took time to make sure I was ok and if I had questions. He visited me daily during my stay and I still have great support even now back in the uk should I have questions.
My surgery went very well, my scars are very tidy and I have lost more than 2 stone so far. I really couldn’t be happier with the care and service I received and would recommend him to anyone looking into this surgery.

I had my operation over two years ago and can honestly say the care I received from Dr Fikret and all the staff was definitely 5 Star. I had a problem with my blood pressure being high and Dr Fikret visited regularly, always with a big smile on his face. My scars are tiny and almost disappeared and have had no problems post surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr Fikret and the getslimteam. 😀

Dr Fikret instills confidence. I hadn’t ‘chosen’ my surgeon, but I was impressed with his knowledge and care for me and others who had the operation at the same time. Absolutely could not recommend Dr Fikret more. He is the most amazing Dr I have ever met. From the moment I met him, I knew I chose the right surgeon. Dr Fikret takes the time to talk you through everything, if you have any questions or worries he is there to answer all. Dr. Fikret has given me a second chance at life I had a gastric sleeve on 9th March 2021. So far I have lost 3 stone 7lb and I feel and look so much healthier. I was very nervous to have the surgery as I have a fear of going under anaesthesia but Dr Fikret held my hand and assured me I would be ok and I was 😀. Myself and my daughter Dannielle, travelled to Turkey from the Uk to have a gastric sleeve performed by Dr Fikret on the 22nd March 2021 at Gozde Hospital. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after extremely well by the Getslim team and the lovely nurses. My daughter was very nervous and cried prior to the operation and Dr Fikret, spent time talking to her and putting her mind at ease. He gave her a hug and said she was in very good hands. He didn’t want her waiting and hanging around so he made sure she was one of the first ones done on that day. He popped back to see us both the following day to check on us to see how we were both doing and again the day before we left. Our scars are very neat and we’ve had no problems with any of our surgery. I’m really pleased that Dr Fikret uses a drain as this is an added bonus, another check regarding leaks. What I really like is that we can follow Dr Fikret on Instagram and he’s always available to have a chat or ask a question if needed. The tests and checks he gets done on you are simply the best and you would never get all this in the UK, either private or the NHS. Had my surgery 8 days ago with Dr.Fikret now home 4 days and recovering very well. I felt so comfortable he made me feel really at ease and not as nervous as I initially was. What can I say ...... DR FIkret has saved my life. From the minute I met him we had the best relationship. No language barrier got in the way, the energy he gave was more than enough. I had my operation on the 24th of September i have currently lost over 4 stone, Dr Fikret is an amazing doctor and makes you feel very comfortable and he has completely changed my life, it’s uncomfortable for 3 days and that’s it I would do it all again in a heartbeat, I had a great experience.

I had bariatric surgery with DR Fikret in August 2020, and honestly I couldnt have wanted anything more from a surgeon he is super caring, he came to visit multiple times a day is very uplifting and encouraging, I had a bit of a melt down just before it and he was there in hand for support amd listen to my concerns and answer my questions, since my surgery i have lost 6stone and will forever be grateful to Dr Fikret, we are in touch regularly and I plan on visiting him once covid is over for an MOT!!
