Avlu Bodrum Bistro & Bar

Great dinner experience in a cute backstreet of Bodrum. We had mushroom risotto, shrimps with tomato sauce and salmon. Presentation and taste was all great. Suggested for people who wants to have a cozy dinner experience and wants to escape the touristy Bodrum main streets. Also the bathroom was fresh and loaded with hygiene products. We will definitely visit them if we ever come to Bodrum again.

Turkey in general has amazing food and you can’t go wrong in many places BUT…this place is off the charts. I live in NY and fine dining is easy to come by, so finding a restaurant overseas tends to make us for higher end reviews—this spot over delivers. The staff was not pushy because they understand their quality. The bartender was creative and drinks were delicious. The chef—WOW! It’s hard to find a flaw and the creativity with flavors was done to perfection. Make time to stop by for a drink or dinner—you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful dinner here. On the more expensive side but 100% worth it. Beautifully presented dishes, amazing cocktails and pristine service. Set in a lovely spot. Highly recommend!

Great food and service. Especially loved the appetizers (steak tartare and the shrimp with avocado mouse). The sea bass entre was also very nice - extremely fresh and expertly cooked. My only small nitpick, IMO, it could use a little extra and more powerful lemon butter sauce.

Hidden gem close to barlar street. Very nice building. Quite good dishes but the cocktails rock. Kuzu Kuzu cocktail especially recommended. Such a refreshment 😋

Fantastic. The best restaurant in Bodrum for sure! Highly recommend. Every dish was super delicious. The salad was perfect, bruschetta was pefect. Seafood pasta pefect. Great service. Great music.

Had the good fortune to visit this place on Saturday evening while on holiday in Bodrum. We were very excited having seen it is the #1 restaurant in Bodrum on TripAdvisor, and it did not disappoint.

2014 Merlot is a superb wine, tastes like a Malbec. Fresh bread was provided in branded Avlu paper bags. The background music was a lovely addition to the rustic interior.

Goat's cheese salad and Steak Skewers to start and Steak Burgers for mains. I could not recommend it highly enough.

The service was equally good. It is set about 50 metres back from the main tourist strip and it makes a world of difference.

Cozy and tasteful bistro, good food, Turkish wine and very warm stuff. A bit pricey compared to other places around but definitely worth it. We enjoyed every minute of it.

I recently dined at Avlu Bodrum Bistro & Bar and was blown away by the quality of the food. The dishes were both delicious and artistically presented, making for an exceptional dining experience. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed for a relaxed and intimate meal. The service was polite and attentive, and overall added to the positive dining experience. However, I did find the prices to be a bit expensive. While the food was outstanding, the high prices may not be ideal for everyone. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Avlu Bodrum Bistro & Bar for those looking for a great meal and a peaceful atmosphere.

Probably the best food i try in Bodrum, stuff is friendly and prices are ok. I highly recommend this place.

As a frequent travelling couple, we had a splendid dinner experience with tasty food and nice Turkish wine. The atmosphere was unique in a tiny street and the serving staff was kind and smiling. Would definitely prefer again in our future visits to Bodrum!

Absolutely loved this place. The owners are so humble and spoke so well to us. Accommodated all our needs. We loved the wine selection that was made by them and the sausage plate was delicious. Loved the ambience and the decor. Will definitely recommend you go.

Wonderful food with great service

My wife and I visited here based on the other great reviews. From walking in to the restaurant through to paying the bill the service was excellent. The food was delicious and very generous portions. The steak dishes in particular are fantastic. Hoping we will be back before the end of our holiday.

We tried this out per recommendation by a British expat, now local, and we were impressed. Nestled in a beautiful quiet little street, simple and delicious food. Great price for such a delicious meal. We thought we didn't need fries until we smelled the tantalizing truffle aroma wafting over from the adjacent table. Do yourself a favour, just get the truffle fries right from the get go.

Food was the best we have had in Turkey. Good size portions and the hot starters could be a main meal for some people.

In our group we had steaks, chicken and meatballs. All were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Price is a bit more than some other establishments but the quality of the Food, staff and location are worth it. Also discovered a great Turkish white wine too here. Basically you need to eat here it is great.

Best dinner we’ve had in Turkey! The food is so fresh and beautifully done, it blew us away. On par with my favourite places in London. Only open 2 months and it’s already packed with guests every night. Couldn’t recommend more!

One of our best meals in Turkey. This is more French Bistro than typical Turkish fare. Cocktails are excellent as was the food. Good wine list and bottles are served at the right temp. Friendly service. Make a reservation though. Many people were turned away.
