what a place! i stayed there 2 nights and loved it. you'll be feeling welcome from the staff, the atmosphere, the food.

Price: I payed 80TND per night for a Single. its expensive but the food and the atmosphere makes it up - totally.

Fantastic.... Like to be at home. We choose this hotel since 2003. Good people... Good staff... Simple but good home cuisine and beers. Classic destination this hotel of troglodytes style, original fashion.

I have no words to describe my stay at this hotel. Everything was so perfect - from the room in a cave to the attentive staff and the great food. All rooms are dug into the rock - you will sleep in a cave. Same goes for the bathrooms, restaurant, reception hall etc - everything is in a cave, absolutely unique experience. Bathroom is shared, but who cares as long as it is a traditional hotel in Matmata. You have internet only in the reception hall. I had single room with halfboard included - the dinner was huge, I couldn't eat it all, breakfast is more basic, everything for just 20 euros/ night. The staff also helped me to find a travel agent in Ksar Ghilane where I was heading next.

Wonderful hotel, everything is great overhere restaurant, coffee and reception,the place is perfect for loving-adventure peoples. The hotel is near mountains with fresh aire, the city Matmata is perfect for a complete vacation, here you can find the market, coffees, restaurants,...etc. This hotel has a swimming pool, actually I didn't swimm because of the weather was freezing.

We just had a lunch in this pretty place. Everyone was very kind and the food was great and lifesaver :)

기대를 많이했는데 생각만큼은 아니었어요.
친절하고 식사도 맛있는데
침구가 깨끗하지 못했고 룸에 침대는 더블 2.싱글 2. 총6인이 자는방에 전원 콘센트가 하나밖에 없고요
공동 샤워실과 화장실 세면대가 다 고장나 있어요.
참 아쉬웠습니다.
중심부 정원에서 청소하는 아주머니가 지나가길래 함께 사진 찍자고하니 1달라 달라네요.
씁쓸합니다.

El lugar es mágico! La atención es espectacular! Son mega amables. Y la comida un capítulo aparte! Deliciosa y en cantidad!
El baño si bien es compartido, está impecable!

Sinceramente adorei tudo! Estilo troglodita, construído há mais de 200 anos, tem restaurante, incluiu um jantar delicioso e café da manhã. Funcionários muito simpáticos e respeitosos (eu estava sozinha). O hotel me atendeu perfeitamente!!!

Super hôtel très original. Chambre fraîche et confortable. Le staff est hyper gentil et serviable. Nous avons passé 1 nuit la bas et c'était magique.

Es un hotel precioso y económico. Baños compartidos pero muy limpios. Se vende alcohol en el bar. En temporada baja nos ha costado 50 dinares dormir y 20 la cena, muy abundante. Mucho más bonito que el otro famoso por salir en la Guerra de las Galaxias (Sidi Driss). Trato muy amable. Nos dio mucha pena irnos. Las habitaciones están preparadas para albergar grupos, pero si no está lleno, supongo, te la dejan para dos personas o las que vayáis. 100% recomendable.

Site incroyable, vraiment unique avec ses 5 cours reliées par des tunnels, et un personnel aux petits soins en particulier Ferjani qui nous a si bien accueillis et conseillés pour les balades

Site magnifique, beaucoup de choses à voir aux alentours.
Acceuil chaleureux, personnel très sympathique, à l'écoute et toujours prêt à rendre service ! Chambres et sanitaires (communs) bien tenus, plusieurs cours qui font que le calme règne toujours à l'hôtel Marhala !
Au top avec des enfants.
La cuisine est excellente, et le bar (qui sert de l'alcool) un plus non négligeable !
