Au Bon Pain

Tasty Croissants and a good coffee at affordable prices. The croissants are either plain or with cheese and chicken or ham. They cost about 90-100THB each. The large size cappuccino coffee costs about 130THB.

It’s a nice place where you can sit down and enjoy free WiFi. It’s right in the front of the supermarket. Definitely a cheaper and in my eyes better option then coffee club ;)

Jungceylon Patong lacked of “au bon pain” for a while. There used to be a cafe of au bon pain at the front of the mall like couple years before COVID. Then it was shutdown maybe because of the competition with the big brand such coffee club.
Anyways, this brand used to be my favorite, like no.1 bagel throughout Thailand.
This new branch opened in the middle of Jungceylon, Patong. It NEEDS to have its manager changed for the shop’s sake! Her attitude was bad and her knowledge about coffee was lacking. The hot latte served to us was tasteless and we said to her that hot latte shouldn’t be like this. The milk inside was diluted and the way too hot that ruined the coffee! She didn’t understand and asked, “what kind of coffee do you want?” “Do you want coffee that is less hot?” She offered to make an iced latte for us; instead she just poured our hot latte in the ice and served us like that!!!! That was unbelievable!
The bagel was nice though, yet the pesto spread was not enough to accompany the bread.

*Tips: Go to Tim Hortons on the same floor for the professionally coffee made and there’re also some hot sandwiches and bagels 🥯
