Excellent place to try local Thai food (the area outside the main complex). Main complex mainly sells Veggies, fruits and fish - mostly locals shop there. The food is great for seafood and meat lovers, very limited veg options - the coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice are particularly good.

Literally from Sea to Plate and it was cooked amazing! We got tiger prawns, crab, oysters and clams. Cooked, delivered and got to beers. All for 2000Baht. That's $96 CDN.

Big and variable place for dinner. We tried fresh seafood and traditional Thai food. Everything is tasty and well cooked. Price is ok. Recommend to visit 👍🏻

Must-try while in Phuket - the fresh fish market on the first level, you can get some superb seafood (1500-2000 Thai baht range) and get it cooked on the second level!

Incredible fresh market on the first floor, you can shop for fruit, veg and seafood like a local. Do some bargaining but respect their work and pay a fair amount. Going up to the second floor you can get your food cooked by the many shops that will yell at you. I suggest you shop around because prices can vary a lot, but the cooking techniques are the same. Expect to pay around 1200/1500 per person if you get something like mine

Amazing food stalls with a ton of options! Avoid the "restaurant" type where you have to sit and order and ho directly for the individual sellers on the right. Takoyaki is delicious and so are the fried eggs with sea food and the soup stand!! We loved pretty much everything we tried and everyone is so polite!

Perfect fresh fruits and sea food. Most sea food is alive in tanks and you can also find vegetables which was a surprise for me. Also the food stalls which open in the evening are the best. Especially sushi and grilled octopus were our favourites.

The center evening market friendly price for tourists that local people like find something to eat at there. This place has many varieties of food and dessert. especially seafood and fresh fruit at their market.

Must see in this area. Once you are there you will get a variety of affordable and good quality food - sea food, crocodile or other meat, plenty of sweets, vegetable in many ways. Inside you can buy natural products: tropical fruit, oils, tea etc.

Interesting but not for everyone. This is considered to be one of the best Markets in Phuket.

But from my own experience it was unimaginable smelly it even made me want to throw up. You have never smelled anything more disgusting. You have to be careful to not slip on the floor as in most of the places there is water on the floor from all of the fish, prawns and who knows from what else.
On the 2nd floor there are restaurants in which they can even cook you those fish you bought downstairs.
Great thing was that this may be the cheapest place in Patong with a price of 30 baht for 6 bananas, you cant complain.

We had our street food in the restaurant by ordering some drinks. The locals are helping each other with their businesses, which is also making it easier for tourists to enjoy our time in Patong.

We have been here for several times, we visit it every vacation on Phuket, you can buy fresh seafood here, and on the second floor it can be prepared, but every time we wait for about 30 minutes, for 2 kg of food they took 500 baht, it is ok. It is easy way to try freshly prepared squids, shrimps, fish and so on, for a price of average dinner in standard Thai food cafe here (for 4 people).
I think you should visit it once, if you are not scared about alive seafood and some not so good smell.

I love this place, vibe and people's attitude. You can buy fish and they will make it for you on the second floor. Highly recommended to everyone!

This market has so many things. Fresh fruit, dried fruits, fresh seafood, nuts etc. We picked our own seafood from the tanks and went to a stall upstairs to let them prepare and cook it for us. It was so delicious. It is not the cleanest place though, but that's just what it is. We also bought some delicious cashew nuts and candied mangos.

Pretty cool place where you can get cheap local food. There’s always a cautious internal voice to say watch what you eat because as a foreigner, we’re often susceptible to food poisoning.

Eat at your own risk but I found the food to be absolutely amazing and worth every single dollar. I enjoyed my experience there of eating a good meal, a drink and some desserts with less than $10 AUD.

Great local place. Get there early for a nice breakfast and inexpensive local cuisine

The food is delicious. They have Thai food, seafood, desserts, vv with cheap price although this is Patong
I wish I had known this place in the first day we came to Phuket
