Got to know Elephant Parade in HK in 2014 and has always loved the idea behind and the designed products. Here is the workshop and it’s artists and it’s nice to see the behind the scene story

We stopped by so our three year old could have a go at painting his own elephant. Staff were super friendly and showed us the amazing artists painting some of the elephants you can purchase in the shop. It’s a social enterprise raising funds to care for elephants so it’s nice to know your money is going to a good cause as well. We bought a hand painting elephant to take home and display as a reminder of our trip to Thailand.

Too bad I forgot to look at their opening days, so they are closed on weekends, the day I went there. In short, I took the opportunity to observe all the giant elephants installed around their workshop.

If you love Elephants but like me don’t wish to support the cruel treatment of these majestic, beautiful animals by visiting unethical sanctuaries, then this is the place to go. It is educational, a real feast for your eyes and heart as well as achieving amazing so much to help Elephants.

This was our first destination in Chiang Mai. I read online about their reason for existance and the imoact they have on raising knowledge and awareness along with the support of Asian elephants.

We had a tour and saw many talented artists hand painting each individual elephant.

We bought several pieces from tje shop and 20% of their net profit goes directly to Mosha and elephant care.

This a great place to visit with wonderful people working there. The art is splendid and you get an education about the plight of elephants as a bonus. The museum and shop are open on the weekends but not the production line. Go have a look!

We were greeted as we exited our van and given a tour. We greatly appreciated the art and bought a few elephants.

The very friendly staff gave us a free little tour. Send like they're doing great work providing jobs for people and contributing to elephant conservation.
It seems like they don't get too many visitors these days since covid so it was good to support them.
There is a little museum + video of the history of elephant parade, we saw the staff painting the elephants and the shop with lots of elephants to choose from.
They also have elephants that you can paint yourself. We had very young kids so that wasn't really possible. If the kids were about 7+ it would've been a great experience for them.
The elephants in the shop are very expensive but it's good to know the money is going to a good cause.

An amazing experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I was here 3 hours and only left as it was closing. Got to see production from start to finish. Then painted my own elephant under the guidance which was really appreciated! Apple was amazing and helped to make it an unforgettable experience. Free entry and only 600bhat for the elephant

Fantastic facility, great painting assistants to help you with painting your own elephant. The Elephant Parade is an excellent development project aimed at addressing the present and future needs of elephants in Southeast Asia. All proceeds go to this worthy cause! A fun afternoon activity.

As we arrived at the location of Elephamt Parade Land we were greated by a kind lady that showed us around and gave information about the cause.

The artists are very nice and like it when you ask questions about their work!

This place is certainly worth your time when visiting Chiang Mai.

Taxi drivers find it hard to find, but there are flyers in every hotel that have the instructions on how to get there in Thai.

Out of town. So many big and beautiful elephants. Be sure to go inside and see the museum. Fabulous staff. Helpful and friendly. See the factory and painting. Elephants are not inexpensive to purchase. A must see. Was completely empty when I visited on a Sunday during off season.

The Elephant parade is not a charity, but a commercial enterprise. 20% of their net profits is donated to elephant welfare and conservation projects. The elephant statues exhibited here are created by artists and celebrities. They all are unique pieces of art and will appeal to the creativity of even the most cynical person to paint an elephant. Which you will be invited to do.

An amazing place to see and understand how worth the Asian elephant is and should be.

Pi Apple was amazing. I am so impressed with her especially since we were there for 8 hours to finish our elephants. She was super patient as some rude Farang made her detail 8 small elephants for them, and a rude American lady (embarrassed to be an American in this moment) yelled at her for absolutey nothing.

She deserves a raise and the utmost respect for what she does day in and day out there at Elephant Parade Land.

Kob Kuhn Manna Khrap Pi Apple!

A must visit when on Chiang Mai!
Great social enterprise supporting elephants. Kids and adults can paint elephants against a donation.
