Baan U Sabai Chiangmai Airport

Such an amazing hotel!! We booked just to have an easy place to stay near the airport, and were pleasantly surprised with how nice it is. The rooms are beautiful and clean with comfy beds. We loved the teak wood construction. This hotel is a great value, and I could not recommend it more!

We have been traveling on a shoestring, and this place feels like a luxury. The ambiance is calming. We had a room with the balcony opening on to the pool and enjoyed swimming in the water. We booked very last minute after we had a bad experience at another hotel, and they made it easy for us to get a room.

Although I am not an avid traveler. Baan U Sabai is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere is quite and serene while the decor is a beautiful wood style that gives an authentic Thai feeling. I really enjoyed how the rooms look out to the pool; truely an amazing place to relax. I will recommend this place to anyone that visits Chiang Mai. A true gem.

Well situated hotel near the airport. Very well priced for nice rooms, pool and great service. The front desk is open 24 hours which assists with checking in/out at whatever time. The pool was amazing after a hot ride back from Chiang Rai. I definitely recommend this hotel for the price, comfort and hospitality. They were even able to hold a bag for us two days prior to check in with no problems.

The rooms are stylish/traditionally furnished. Everything is very clean and tidy. Very nice staff! We had a nice and very relaxing time at the hotel.

We can definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. We stayed two nights at U Baan Sabai and really enjoyed it. The attentive staff was both friendly and helpful and we loved the fact that breakfast was served on our terrace in the morning. Our room was nice, tidy, and well equipped with a big bed (not too soft and not too hard) and with other amenities you would expect from a good hotel. We had direct access to the pool from the terrace, which we enjoyed in the afternoon – really nice to cool down after a day walking the streets. The hotel is situated outside the busy old center of Chiang Mai and we liked the calm and quiet atmosphere that U Baan Sabai offered during our stay. I also like the fact that the hotel is partly a wooden building incorporating northern thai style architecture - it pleases both eye and mind. So overall, definitely worth our time and money.

I have stayed here twice and been very happy both times. The building has a very traditional Thai feel to it with all of the teak used in construction, which extends to the feel inside in the rooms. Room facilitate what you would expect from for this price and are very comfortable. The pool is excellent and very welcome.
The option to have breakfast delivered to your room in the morning is an added luxury.
While it may not be located in the tourist heart of Chiang Mai it is very close to the airport and a major shopping centre. Tuktuks are readily available and it is only a short trip to the old town.

Beautiful teak building in exceptionally good condition. Quite close to the airport. Really helpful staff, comfortable room.
Only downside is that theres a freeway close by,but noise only noticeable from the balcony.

This is my second stay at the hotel, the room is very clean and tidy and they also provide you with plenty of water which many hotels don't do. The view of the room is great as it overlooks the swimming pool which is quite pleasant. The location is very good as it is situated only five minutes away from the airport as my flight was an early flight back to my final destination. There is also a big department store which is very convenient as it is about five miuntes walk just back of the hotel. Overall getting around Chiangmai is pretty easy as there is the local red taxi that you can call of the streets. Will come back again for sure.

We stayed for 4 nights and during that time the staff were amazingly helpful and kind. The hotel itself is a lovely wooden building in immaculate condition. The rooms had lovely spacious balconies and the air conditioning was very welcome! It was easy to get to the old town, either a 30 minute walk or less than 10 minute taxi, and a 10 minute walk to the Saturday night market. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Wife and I got room with pool access and it was worth it. This is a great hotel and the staff are super awesome. They let us rent free bikes and drove us to the airport. This is a smaller boutique hotel with plenty of rooms and amazing pool. The hotel could use a little fixing up (cosmetic stuff) however it has great charm and all the amenities are there.

The cleanest hotel in Chiang Mai. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They really go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Bedding is changed every day. Their breakfast is delicious. They speak English making it easy to talk to them and have questions answered. The place is quite and beautiful. On my next Chiang Mai visit I will stay longer here.

Clean and comfortable rooms pretty close to the airport. The staff is really friendly and speak english. They also extended our check out time by 2 hours when requested. Would stay here again if I visit Chiang Mai.

We stayed 3 nights. This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous and rich with tasteful woodworking. The pool is stunningly attractive and pristine. Very, very happy with our selection to stay here. A+

Nice timber rooms. Clean and elegant. Friendly staff. The pool is great. Less noisy than the other hotels I've been too in Chiang-mai.

I'm staying this hotel. I couldn't expect that I felt in love with this hotel. It was like a really transitional house, but it's awesome. I stayed a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐five star hotel in phuket before arriving in Chiang Mai and it's more expensive than here. However, i think it's better than there and where you are. I'm just soooooo satisfieded with this hotel. The most important thing is the location. I think it's perfect for me. They introduced me to rent a motocycle and I could travel around wherever I want to go.
