Maetaeng Elephant Park & Clinic

I grew up in Thailand. I watched them truly work when I was a child. This is a fun interactive environment. The elephants are well taken care of. We rode the elephants, down the river, over a hill, and back down the river. which was a perfect length of time. We then watched the show where they painted, played soccer, and demonstrated some of their abilities. The raft ride was very relaxing, and ended near the restaurant where we had chicken and cashews, massaman curry, pad thai, spring rolls, and fried chicken. Lunch was very good!

For all the idiots making false statements about chains and hammers, and abuse, they are truly idiots who do not understand how amazing the interaction is between humans and elephants. Please stop overstating the tools and methods used in order to sensationalize their point. The years of commitment and training is enormous, and a skill passed down through generations. This is a very good experience.

Half day trip filled with activities: starting with a cow ride to long neck village, followed by elephant show and ride; and lastly, bamboo rafting. Staff were courteous and friendly. Elephants were wonderful and fun. Lunch was average. Closes at 4pm

I arrived at around 11:00am. Signed up to do the elephant ride, and we were on the elephants at 11:20. Super fun experience, got to ride for a half hour. Cost 1600 baht for 2 people.

Calm and tranquil during the rafting. Meet the friendliest and freely elephants roaming the jungle without chains is the award of the journey.

This is amazing experience!!! Ride on the elephant, cross river and go up a bit to the mountain. Rafting also great. Recommended to come during dec - jan, nice weather indeed.

Elephant ride was great fun as they take you up and down a small incline and into the river. Rafting on bamboo is over 4 kms long, so well l worth the trip. Bucket of bannanas and sugar cane 100 baht so the kids can have fun feeding the elephants.

Fun place, amazing elephants, they can painting-playing football-basketball-juggling-make a greeting-parade formation-dancing...WOW, how awesome! There are also have Cow Rickshaw, we can go around with this ancient transportation. And also there are a rafting with bamboo rafting at the end of trip. Some of the worker or Elephant driver are came from Burma/Myanmar, but they are well-trained in Thailand language. And there are a totally Halal food at the Buffet Restaurant and Mushalla/Small Mosque, yeah!!!

One day trip at Maetang Elephant Park, where the fun never stop. It is popular as a one-stop attraction for elephant shows, elephant rides. Not enough there is also neighboring Long neck demonstration village. Recommend!

Go for elephant ride and elephant show. Feed the elephants. See how elephant paint art. Their arts can be purchased. But some elephant poop papers and some elephant poop coffee. Visit the long neck tribe village. Ride on a ox cart. Wonderful all in one place to visit with family.

Breathtaking moment with elephants, I really enjoyed it, unique and timeless. Elephants are well treated by kornaks, the show was not my favorite part, walking in the wild forest on the elephant's back is magic!

There are many activities here. See genius elephants pianting show, bamboo rafting in the small river, elephants riding and so on.
