We did the overnight tour, and it was amazing. Started the first day around the main area, learning about the elephants, seeing them go for a bath in the river etc. We got checked into the rooms that were lovely. We maybe expected the rooms to be more around the elephants I guess, but it wasn’t bad at all (very comfortable actually). In the morning we went to see elephants a bit further out to give them their breakfast, this was magical to me personally (big elephant lover though, maybe bit obsessed). We ended the day making a rice cake and feeding that to one of the elephants as well.

The breakfast/lunch/dinners were incredible. I’m pretty sure it was completely vegan, but with really good imitation chicken etc, so it didn’t feel like there was anything missing. It was all in buffet style and there was so much of it. Also free coffee and tea during the day, and the option to get something fancier for cheap. Also got a complimentary fancier coffee in the morning after our first activity.

Overall highly recommend doing overnight tour as I feel like you get some free time to just watch the elephants and walk around. And you see more than just the things close to the main area.

Had a great experience walking around the park, meeting all the elephants and watching them take a bath. We did the overnight tour, so that was our first day along with an outstanding buffet for lunch and dinner.

The morning of the second day, we made some food for the elephants, took a short walk outside of the park to see the other elephants, and then made an elephant cake to feed to one of the older elephants. We also had an amazing breakfast and lunch buffet again!

Highly recommended this place as it was ethical and all the animals are treated with respect and cared for. No riding or bathing them was allowed. All animals are rescued and brought back to good health.

What a lovely place! This was one of the best places we've been to on our trip around south east asia.

We visited the Elephant Nature park as we wanted to see elephants in an ethical way and support a great project. We got to see some of the 120 elephants who have been rescued from poor conditions. It was great to observe them and see them up close in their environment without bothering them. It's a hands-off project, we were not allowed to touch them or bathe them - I'm thankful that there are these restrictions in place!

We did the full day skywalk trip and it was fantastic. We had to book through their website and, while it's more expensive than some of the other sanctuaries, it is definitely worth it in my opinion when you see where the money is going.

We were able to walk close to the elephants and you have free time to just sit and observe them from the viewing platforms. We even took Our lunch and ate it on a platform where we could watch the elephant while we ate!

A vegan lunch is included and a nice coffee bar where 100% of their profits go back to the park. There's also a dog and cat sanctuary on site (so what's not to love?)!

Our guide was super knowledgeable and told us about each elephant's history and how they're being rehabilitated in the park.

It was really clear that staff cared for the elephants and the work that they do to rescue and care for them was amazing to see. All in all an unforgettable trip and we're definitely coming back again!

This is the elephant sanctuary to visit while you are in Chiang Mai. It is extremely ethical and the elephants are so well taken care of! My guide was Gun and she was so informative and hilarious as well. You can tell all of the staff enjoy working there. The lunch they feed you is delicious as well. I will be back!

A truly special place where you can feel the kindness that radiates from it.

Please note that this is a non-profit elephant rescue- NOT an elephant park. You will not ride or bathe with the elephants, as these practices are often harmful and traumatic. Instead, you will meet elephants who have been rescued from these situations, and given a second chance to be happy. Elephants are not enclosed in pens, but can walk relatively freely around the park.

It can be a bit sad to see some of them; since they are rescued from abusive places, many have health issues or physical disabilities - but the guides are well knowledgeable on each elephants story and you can get the sense that many are recovering well ❤‍🩹

They do not only rescue elephants, but other animals as well - like dogs, cats, buffalo and rabbits! Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Cat sanctuary while you’re there, it was super cute to play with a bunch of kitties.

The facility itself is well maintained and comfortable, we had plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the day. The food they serve is all vegan (which I saw some reviews complaining about, but come on! It’s an animal rescue sanctuary, why do you expect? And it doesn’t hurt you to eat vegan, it was really delicious!)

Visits to the park are pricier than you might expect, but know that each ticket is a donation to the animals’ wellbeing, not an amusement park entry fee. Definitely worth the trip and I am already planning my next visit to volunteer with them!

Great hands-off experience in the afternoon tour. All elephants are rescues and you walk around the premisses learning more about their stories. No hand-feeding, bathing, touching or riding, you get near some of them with the guides' instructions for pictures, but that's it. If you are looking at some ethical sanctuaries but do not have the time to get further into the mountains or spend several days, I think this is it. It is clearly oriented towards tourism, but managed well.

The most amazing and real place to see elephants living in their natural habitat! Elephant Nature Park, is one of very few places in Thailand where there's NO riding or bathing them! This is a very good thing, as these activities actually cause stress towards elephants! Make sure to do your own research, but if your going to see elephants in Thailand, make sure your giving your money to an organization that is actually helping elephants, just like Elephant Nature Park?
Fantastic place, beautiful scenery, great guide and tasty food!

This place is a MUST if in Chiang Mai! Did the overnight visit and everything was perfect! From the pick-up to the drop off! I encourage everyone to do it especially to support their noble cause!
The rooms were more than comfortable, I was expecting way less, the food was excellent (coming from a meat eater - only vegetarian options) and the staff and volunteers very kind! Just…..do it!

The most spectacular and unforgettable experience of my two-week trip to Thailand (which was filled with stellar experiences). I did the full-day “Caring for Elephants” program, and am SO glad I did.

Spent the morning with a small group, guides, and three magnificent elephants! My understanding is that this is one of the few experiences at the park where you can direclty interact, and make physical contact, with the elephants. They were truly enchanting. We started by preparing food for and feeding them, which was followed by a long hike. As simple as it may sound, walking with the elephants was magical and heart-warming.

The guides (and photographer!) were fantastic and spoke excellent English. The included lunch was very tasty.

Exploring the actual park in the afternoon was wonderful as well, but getting to bond with the three elephants in the morning made the experience what it was. You cannot touch the elephants in the park and must maintain distance. Throughout the day, it was abundantly clear how well all the elephants (and other rescued animals) are cared for, and how special this place really is. I would repeat this day in a heartbeat.

This place was great, it's good to see elephants have a place where they can retire and be happy. We came with our own car, be prepared for some small windy mountain roads! Most people come by public transport.

The tour was nice, it's clear the people know a lot about their elephants and we learnt a lot. There's a nice coffee shop on premise and free vegan lunch included if you come for morning tour.

There are not only elephants, but also dogs, cats and buffalo.

I volunteered for one week early Feb 2024. No rain‌, 57 to 93Deg. F
The experience is off scale.
They are doing a phenomenal job!!
The accommodation & the meals (buffet) exceeded my expectations. They have gardening gloves to borrow, and there were toiletries & towel in our room, screened window and screened sliding glass door & a wall mounted fan. Laundry is 40bath per kg, and excellent. There is an ATM on site. In the gift shop, there is a minimum charge for credit card and 3% is added.

We visited the Elephant Nature Park because we wanted to see the elephants while supporting an ethical project. The experience was really unique as we were able to observe the elephants in their environment without interfering with their element. Our guide Joe took us around the property and told us the stories of the different elephants and it was great to see how each of the elephants had a diferentiated treatment according to their needs. The care and effort that goes into rescuing and taking care of these animals was really remarkable. A truly unforgettable experience!

Guides were great and we got RIGHT up to the elephants. We weren't petting or playing with them but still amazing to see them so well cared for.

Also they're so much more than just a Elephant park. They have water buffalo and dogs as well!

Also, the park building was huge - much larger than I expected. Food was decent as well

Elephant Nature Park exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The ethical environment for elephants is truly commendable, providing a sanctuary where these magnificent creatures can thrive. It is clear that these elephants are truly happy! The full-day trip was a fantastic experience, allowing us to witness the elephants' natural behavior in a respectful manner. Our guide, Oh, was a treasure of information and passion, making the journey not just enjoyable but also enlightening. The commitment to ethical practices extended beyond the elephants to include good food options and seamless transportation from the hotel, making it an all-encompassing and memorable day. Highly recommend!

We’ve just had the best tour this morning with the lovely O. The elephants and other animals are so cared for - this place is super ethical and sets the bar for other sanctuaries. There are nearby sanctuaries who do not have ethical practices and we saw a few of them allowing people to cruelly ride on the elephants. Please support elephant nature park if you can - they are doing incredible work and you know your money is going to a great cause. We had a lovely buffet style lunch after our tour around the park and learning more about each of the elephants. They have so much personality and it’s heart warming to see them so happy in a natural environment. 10/10- highly recommended and one of the highlights of our trip here.

This place is a piece of heaven on earth.
You will meet many elephants with a dark past living here so peacefully and happily. They are loved and nurtured here.
Greater kindness, love and passion is unthinkable.
Come here to enjoy the sight and these majestic gentle giants and also be inspired and feel warmth in your heart.

My personal heaven on earth. Went 3x overall (twice in 2018 and again in 2020). Best place to visit for truly rescued elephants living their lives in freedom. Lek has really made a beautiful sanctuary for these beautiful beings! And not just elephants! Dogs, cats, and water Buffalo, too. And the food? VEGAN AND DELICIOUS!!Absolutely amazing all around 🥰

A great way to see elephants in a caring way.

They have a clear passion for caring for the animals most of which are rescued from around Thailand and given a new happier way of life.
The site includes a raised walkway to view some elephants and then an area by the river where you follow a guide to watch them play and wash naturally in the water.

No riding or washing the elephants, which was good to see.

A nice shop with the money going towards the sanctuary and a large buffet for lunch.

I would recommend taking a bottle of water with you as it can be some time out in the open.

A large area for a cat and dog rescue sanctuary is also on site.

Absolutely one of the Best Elephant sanctuaries in Thailand!!

We researched a lot before we booked our tour for an elephant sanctuary because we have been worried that it is still a topical show off but this Elephant Nature Park is absolutely amazing and a 1000% worth the money you pay!

This Nature Park cares absolutely about their Animals and it is absolutely an animal saving and protecting organization.

No Touching! No swimming, No riding with the Elephants! It is absolutely and to 100% save the Elephant sanctuary!

It is amazing to see how they take care of the elephants and all the other animals they save like water buffalos, cats, dogs and and and 🥰😍❤

The elephants are in their environment and you can watch them and learn about them without worrying:)

They get treated absolutely well, they have a gorgeous life there and get the medical help they need.

It is so amazing to see those elephants so happy 😍😍

We did the skywalk and it cost 3500 THB per person including transportation and lunch (lunch is a vegan buffet and absolutely tasty)

1000000% worth the money

ENP is absolutely paradise for these rescued animals. Fostering 123 elephants, water buffalos, 300 over dogs and 400 over cats. It’s immeasurable how much passion comes out of the ENP team of 300 manpower to keep the place running. The ticket cost 2500 baht per person and I would say it’s worth every penny as donations for the wellbeing of these animals and staff.

It is heart warming to see such a beautiful place put together to care for rescued elephants. Each of them have their own story and past but at ENP they start a new life — a happy one.

I will definitely come back in the future. This experience holds a special place in my heart. Keep doing what you do!!
