Hug Chang Chiang Mai

The staff were all very welcoming and informative. After a bit of information time about elephants, we were able to crush our own bark to make soap. Then we got to go to different areas where we could feed, cuddle, spray, and mud bath with! Wasn't rushed at all. Was very hands on -- good idea to wear swimsuit underneath clothes then change of underwear after. Was amazing!

If you go to Chang Mai, please don't forget this place - Hug Chang Chaing Mai is so wonderful. I have experience on riding elephant. It is really impressive with me , specially, the elephants can draw beautiful pictures !!! You should come here asap !!!

There are sooo many 'elephant sanctuaries' in thailand, but this one, after doing heaps of homework, is undoubtedly the best run & hands on park I have come across. The education given when you first arrive, sets you up for a fabulous encounter with several elephants, before actually touching, hugging & finally washing one in the adjoining stream. Life long memories. Not to be missed!

Mr T guided us through the history of the elephants and took us through the sanctuary. The elephants were gigantic but gentle. A great ethical place to visit
