Chiang Mai Gate Hotel (Wua Lai Walking Street)

Incredible service, really lovely and polite staff and delicious food! :)

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Also has an amazing coffee shop inside which is really nice 👌 the drinks are very refreshing

Nice place to stay.

Room: Clean and well maintained. No issues seen.
Breakfast: Very good with a lot of items to choose from in the breakfast buffet. They also have an omelet station at the buffet.
Hot water: No issues
Air condition: Worked well and not noisy.
I had forgotten my leather jacket in the wardrobe. Had called the property after about a week (Since I had travelled to a warmer place, I did had not checked / looked for my jacket till I was packing to go to a colder place. Hence, the week long delay in realizing that I had forgotten my jacket) later and they said they have it with them and I made arrangements for it to be collected. Thanks to the Hotel.
Location: The location was good. Close to night food stalls and also street shopping. Safe to walk around at night.

Cannot think of anything that was an issue during my stay at this hotel.

Very nice room and such kind workers, rooms are well kept. It’s in a great location where you can walk around and experience the city. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood

Great location and nice, clean, and beautiful hotel. The rooms are a bit noisy, and the wifi- as is typical of the entire region- is not reliable. But staff is quite helpful, prices are good, and the breakfast is great. Overall no real complaints!

A 10 minutes walk from most of what Chiang Mai has to offer and with a beautiful pool thing I'm the courtyard for the hot afternoons.
Showerhead placement was a bit odd in both rooms and flooded the area around the toilet but comfy beds made up for it.

Everything good here except bed in room has harder springy cheap mattress and bed frame is on wheels that can't be locked. Not sure what that's about. Other than that a nice hotel, great location and good service.

Stayed with G-adventures group - nice place, good sized room with good shower, well placed. Also good swimming pool.

The restaurant is incredible. I always pass by and see bunch of tourists eating on this Chiang Mai gate hotel restaurant. I decided to give it a try. They have a very talented chef who makes incredible dishes. It's just amazing! If one stays in this hotel, it's so convenient to dine for breakfast or lunch. The location is great and the old city is just minutes of walking distance.

Lovely room. Comfortable beds. Lots of options at breakfast. Plenty of local amenities.

Great base for exploring Chiang-Mai and surrounding countryside. Friendly helpful staff and there is a decent pool to cool off after your adventures. My second trip staying here.

Have stayed @ Chaing Mai gate 3 times now .nice place to stay .easy walk 🚶‍♂ to the market and other places
