One of the signature local food Northern style restaurant, the menus portion are tiny but full of local taste + special local menu that you ever try other places such as bee larva in hive. Hahaha...

This restaurant must visit when your are in the town. The best place to get local Northern-Thai authentic food. Is not that expensive, but the quality and taste that you get back is the best. Is also restaurant for local people, you will have chance to explore the taste of Northern-ThI dish.

Stopped off here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The hang lay was spot on, mixed veggies with prawns, fried chicken and Northern style omelette were all superb. Only 440 baht.

It’s the place where locals eat. We like khantok yong (a set of food prepared in the style of Yong ethnic). Its kaeng hangle (pork-belly meat cooked in curry, ginger and peanuts) smells good and also is tasty. Kaeng khanun and tam khanun (both dishes are made from unripe jackfruit) are delicious. There are many choices of food and the prices are surprisingly cheap.

If you want to experience real local northern cuisine, you have to dinner here with nice and friendly waiters and atmosphere. This restaurant is one of my family's favourite.
