Grand Mercure Phuket Patong

Great hotel with a very good restaurant, the room was spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. Only downside is that you do need to catch a taxi to visit a nice beach, Patong beach is not worth it unless you're doing water sports such as jet ski.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Patong area.

as well as service rooms and staff being surreal, I actually wanted to make a special thank you to the high quality customer service and care that was provided to me on an incident i experienced.
I went to the hotel Gym and while lifting a bar, one of the bar bells rolled right into the gym mirror and smashed it into pieces.
I was quite worried for breaking hotel property and the staff were just absolutely wonderful calming me down, and saying that the "most important thing of all is my safety" which wasn't being compensated, and that was all that mattered to them. They didn't charge us anything extra either as they were purely concerned with ensuring our experience was good!

An amazing hotel with such lovely staff. Cooking with Chef Chart and Jasmin was so much fun. Excellent 5 nights here. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Phuket.

When our group arrived at this resort were happy to enjoy the hospitality of the cool towels and refreshing passion fruit drinks during check-in!

This hotel was in a great location to May of the street vendors and the Main Street with all the other hotels and shopping options!

I enjoyed the open lobby and I would sleep there because my internal clock was off and it was so peaceful and comfortable!

The rooms were spacious..the customer service was excellent and I enjoyed the ‘walk ability’ to all the local shops!

I recommend highly!

A jewel hidden in the main road to Patong beach.
Beautiful, tranquil, staff is helpful and responsive.
I lost my phone at Phuket international Airport, Mew worked very hard, helped me with phoning. Finally arranged for my phone to be brought to the hotel. Excellent.
They go out of their way to accommodate your requests.
I highly recommend.

We stayed for one night and the staff was amazing, always nice and smiling with the great Thai service.
The room (suite) was large, top floor and with nice views.
Dinner was nice and the breakfast with extensive very large food types and including live cooking.

We stayed in a pool access room which although little small was still amazing. We were lucky enough to have the sun on our terrace for most of the day which resulted in a very relaxed stay. Even so, there never seemed to be a problem getting a sun bed in the main area. The hotel was very busy, and a little patience was required sometimes at breakfast, but the staff all worked so hard it wasn’t a problem once seated. The location was for us, perfect. Just a 10 minute walk to Jungceylon and Bangla road. The hotel put on a fabulous Valentines dinner which we enjoyed immensely. Great setting on the terrace, rose petals strewn on the floor, a violinist, rose for my wife and absolutely amazing food. A truly memorable evening. We will definitely stay again when we return to Patong.

We had a blast at the Grand Mercure in Patong Beach, Thailand! The staff were super friendly and always on hand to help. The food? Amazing! Whether we were sipping on cool drinks or munching on local dishes, we were in heaven. And the rooms – so comfy, we barely wanted to leave. Totally recommend for anyone looking for a chilled and comfy beach getaway!

A very comfortable stay. The facilities are very nice and the customer service is very good. Jasmin was a standout, she looked after us at meal times and would go out of her way to check in on our stay.

The beach is a 5-10 minute walk and the main shopping streets are right on the door step.

Happy hour is buy one get one free. Cocktails are around 260 baht.

We spent there 4 nights and we were very nice suprised. The hotel has comfortable rooms, not large but clean and surrounded by greenery. There is also lounge for platinum accor members where from 11am till 5pm are served salty and sweet snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. We would definately come back there.

We stayed in a deluxe swim out suite. The suite was lovely. Room service food was of excellent quality and the breakfast buffet had a variety of food options. The highlight of the stay was the spa service. I highly recommend booking yourself in for a spa treatment. Overall a very relaxing stay. I would stay here again!

Amazing location, quick walk to Bangla road, Patong beach, night markets and tons of food. The best food is right across the street! The room was amazing, comfortable and the staff were so friendly. The spa is a must do. I would definitely stay here again! Can't recommend it more. Book with them, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a tattoo, go to Celebrity Ink!

This was one of the best stays ever! We had a pool access corner room which was totally worth it. We came on our honeymoon and were offered a complimentary cake and bubble bath. The staff and service is extremely good and the rooms are excellent as well. Kate from the Bubbles restaurant remembered our previous orders and recommended accordingly, which was very special. The location of the resort was quite convenient as Bangla road and Patong beach were walking distance away. The nearby streets are very lively and you can get almost anything. The breakfast was quite goofy as well and catered to a wide variety of tastest. Also recommend the Seafood Bbq.

Good location near the Patong Beach and many store and resturant.
Room relativly big. I rented the superior king room. Confortable bed. Has small balcony.
Taxi station available at hotel exit . Pool is big. No beach acess. Breakfast buffet is excellent, crowded though. And has great spa.

Professionally run with friendly staff. Excellent international selection at Breakfast. Location was perfect for shopping and short walk to beach. The Club Lounge Access was a very nice additive for day use (11am - 5pm) with savoury & sweet snacks, together with hot & non-alcoholic cold refreshments available for your pleasure.

Writing this review mainly to give Sita (the staff at the reception) a big kudos!!!! She went out of the way when we needed some assistance and checked in on us multiple times after that. Even took time to make personal trips to our room. She is truly an asset to this hotel and she made this an unforgettable stay. Thank you Sita!!! Another staff named Art also did a great job! Aside from that, location is great and overall facilities at the hotel were enjoyable!

This is our second stay at the Grand Mercure this year. Excellent hotel close to Patong Beach. Breakfast is really good and restaurant staff U, Laila, Elise, Sprite and all others are very good and efficient. Got the 2 bedroom villa for a few nights and it's amazing. Shout out to housekeeping for keeping everything perfect.

First of all, we came here after our visit to Malaysia, and decided to take a short few days break before going back for the project. We choose Mercure for the simple business holiday alike feel and it's worth it.

Second, we came to Phuket twice, and we decided to try Mercure. The rooms are clean and staff very friendly, typical Thai hospitality, and food is of 5 star standard. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, nice staff, clean comfortable rooms. Everything is within walking distance, and the downside is that the rooms face the courtyard. But maybe it’s for the better, you can’t hear the noise from the streets. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Patong.
