The SIS Kata

Fantastic hotel located near Kata Beach but far enough away that it isn’t loud or chaotic. The hotel is quite big but it’s very modern and clean. The rooms are also spacious and clean. The staff is very welcoming. Infinity pool is perfect for the hot Thai heat and a good spot to watch the sunset. Only downside is the breakfast wasn’t the best breakfast we’ve had in Thailand. Very simple offerings buffet style.

My experience was amazing the second i step into the lobby to the time of checkout. The staff greeted us with drinks and a warm welcome. The room layout was super cute and different from most hotels. The pool was absolutely beautiful with the best views over Kata Beach. The restaurant had great breakfast and the room service was decent also. Can’t wait to be back!

Really enjoyed our stay! Staff were friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their faces. It’s clean and has a beautiful view. A bonus that their breakfast buffet has a wonderful selection and good food. You can walk to the beach and nearby shops/markets. It is on a hill so be aware that the walk back up is a challenge but manageable.

The best experience. Amazing view. Amazing room. Best service from all staff from the time we entered the hotel. Breakfast was amazing a highlight of our trip. Great offering in room from beach towels to coffee pods a beach bag and slipper. Pure perfection we will make it our regular home away from home

Great hotel! The views are amazing, the rooms are good too (except for the blue light on the restrooms and shower??) and the breakfast buffet is great!!

However, service is not great… the bartender at the pool bar was SO rude to us just because we forgot our room number. I guess the other reviews were right about the only thing wrong at this place.

There is NOTHING I could complain !
We took the suite - a big recommendation if you can spend some euros more as it has the most fabulous view over the bay and pool. see the pictures.
Breakfast is really good. Coffee also very good. Staff is friendly - quick and help you as they can !
5 stars recommendation and one of the nicest beaches - we tried several - are so close … Kata Noi and also Ao Sane —> Snorkeling !!!
Amazing place !

Go here !! AND - take a scooter then the often mentioned small hill will, also for the absolute unwalkers, not be a hint. Anyways also without scooter you can manage that some meters up from the beach…

Nevertheless a scooter brings you quickly to the mentioned beaches.

We had the most amazing stay at The SIS Kata. All staff are friendly and very helpful (a special thank you to Golf on reception who always greets us with a smile and goes out of her way to help. Thank you to Way, Yui, Chay and Pang who looked after us every day in the bar/restaurant whilst we would have our daily pool competition), rooms are cleaned daily (thank you Ying who did an amazing job), the food is delicious, the view from the rooftop restaurant and pool is incredible (thank you Tom for the tasty cocktails at the swim up pool bar), its a short walk to kata beach and the main strip of restaurants and bars (be aware that you will need to walk up quite a steep hill to get back to the hotel, which we didn't mind. We paid 200 baht for a tuk tuk if we were feeling lazy), a good little gym is also onsite. Overall we had a really lovely stay and we hope to return again next year.

Having traveled to Thailand several times over the years I do like to point out that SIS Kata has been the best sofar.
An absolute wonderful experience in all departments. Exquisite and unparalleled views from the pool area over the sea and Kata Beach , an immaculate neatness in rooms and in all other areas, sublime modern lounge and dining room ( with this never tiring view ), delicious food and above all , the never ending smiles and friendliness of the staff. Especially from our waiter Tom at the pool bar and Charles at the reception.
All of the above exceeds the minor point of the steepy down hill to Kata beach which could be solved with a more frequent shuttle , like a tuk tuk owned by the hotel.
We cannot wait for next year and are definitely coming back .

The SIS Kata had availability for me at the very last minute - which I appreciated so much! Though it is a bit away from the busy area of Kata, I also enjoyed it for that fact. Nestled up top of a hill, it provides a beautiful view of Kata Beach and a small island that you can look over at from the pool! Ah the pool was my favorite part, aside from the cozy room, which had a huge bed with comfortable plush pillows. The room even had a very interesting and easy-to-read Buddhism book, which I brought to the pool with me. Service at the pool is excellent. I spent a whole day at the pool, met an amazing new friend, and got sun burned. The sunburn led me to go to the spa that evening and receive a Thai mid body wrap, which eased the pain, and also received a foot massage. All the staff were so lovely and attentive, from the very moment I got there! Treated me like family. I will certainly go again, and again.

Very nice hotel with great view from the pool. Rooms are bit small even for two people, but service is really nice

Really enjoyed our stay at SIS Kata. Rooms were clean and well maintained and the front desk and maintenance team were quick to assist us when we had an issue come up with the jacuzzi. They also have some of the best views of Kata Beach from the Infiniti pool on the roof. Highly recommend!

The hotel located in the hill which you can see the sunset from the rooftop or restuarant. Also the twilight from swimming pool is really romantic.
BTW, the location a bit far from Kata beach but you can walk down about 800m. There are clealiness room, staff is good and various breakfast

Wow a real gem great rooms immaculately clean. Lovely pool view and delicious breakfast.

I love all environments of this place. Staff are perlite, hotel are clean and new , breakfast are great, worthy of money.

However still have some trouble about check-in when We arrive around 1.30 pm room haven't ready so We wait half hour until We decided to changed room type to pool jacuzzi bath which I super happy with it.

Located quite far off of Kata Beach. Climbing uphill upon returning from the beach was a torture. However, pool view is amazing exactly as advertised.

What an awesome hotel. The name says it all - Stay In Style. The rooms are amazing. We had one of the sea view rooms that includes a jacuzzi. The beds are big and comfortable. Room service is good with variety to choose from if you need. The pools are fantastic. One of the pools have an awesome view over the ocean where you can also have a drink at the swimming pool bar while relaxing in the pool. The staff are very friendly and well trained. The rooms are neat and clean with a great shower. It is also just a quick walk from grocery shops, street food stalls, restaurants and other interesting shops. The breakfasts are amaaaazing. They cater to all nationalities and have a lot of options and variety.

Will strongly recommend to anyone.

This hotel was amazing the staff are super friendly and welcoming always willing to help you.the breakfast is super delicious with a variety of things to eat. They cater for all nationalities. The rooftop view is beautiful overlapping the sea and island, the rooms are always clean and neat. I would recommend this hotel as it deserves 6 stars.

Rooms are clean, nicely equipped and the beds are super big and comfy. Staff is so friendly! 💛😊 and the pool is the best one we ever had. Don’t worry about the hill, it’s not that bad 😀

Very nice infinity pool they have here! Rooms are clean and neat. I’ve gotten a sea view with jacuzzi room. Amazing choice.

They provide 2 bottles of drinking water for free, coffee and pineapple cookies.

Fresh and clean towels are the most important, bedsheets are immaculate too.

Staff at the counter, bell boys are all very friendly and polite.

There is a all day restaurant, bar and pool bar. You can literally not leave the resort at all!!

Gym is well equipped with new equipments too.

Love it here!
