Chanalai Garden Resort

I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly amazing this hotel is! We came with our 8 month old daughter and had a blast. We loved it so much that we extended our stay 7 extra days. The staff is definitely the highlight. They are all so attentive and share a genuinely warm demeanor. This includes front desk staff, kitchen staff, room cleaners, facility cleaners, the security guard even helped us cross the street a few times… everyone is so kind and professional! I want to give special thanks to Pang Pond, Daisy, Rose, Morn, and Nest for going above and beyond to make our family’s stay comfortable.

What made this place so ideal was also the two large pools, the kids club where our daughter could play and take a break from the hot sun, and the breathtaking views from the balcony and across the property. The beach is a two minute walk from the hotel. You do need to cross a busy street but sometimes the security guard can help you! Kata beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to find shady spots if you are coming with baby (although we mostly went very early in the morning or during sunset). The food selection was also very impressive. We looked forward to breakfast each day.

We stayed in building 3 on the 4th floor and we had an amazing view of the sea! The hotel was pretty and room was great, the view and location is what makes this so good. It is literally a 2 minuite walk from the front of the hotel to the beach (across the Rd and between some restaurant seating areas).
If you walk 10 mins inland from the main tourist strip roads the restaurant prices drop by 2/3, we went to a place called 'good thai' which was delicious.

Absolutely loved our time at this resort. The staff went above & beyond to help us and make us feel special. Rooms are beautiful, beds were very comfortable, view from our room was lovely.

Good value for money, with excellent staff and location. The beach is so close as are restaurants and 7-11. Leaves you well placed to enjoy resort and Kata. Breakfast is good value at 300bt. Tried room service. Vegetarian panini was a bit of a mystery. Happy hour cocktails in bar 2 for 1 is a good deal . Good quality ingredients. Overall awesome place.

We stayed for a few days at this hotel. The location is far from the Phuket town, but the beach is only a few minutes walk away across the street.
The room was clean, but a bit of a walk from the front lobby. The pool was nice as well. Overall, a good place to stay if you're planning on going to the Kata beach only, as the Phuket Town is rather far away.

Excellent!! The price is middle range and I expect a normal hotel, but it is much better than expected, the service is very attentive and caring:
1) Reception speak fluent English and warm welcome
2) They sent us new tower once we return from the pool.
3) I went to breakfast on my birthday (which i didnt book in advance), they found out that was my birthday when I registered to get a table, a few moments later they arranged a little cake and dance celebration for my bday, that was really a heartwarming surprise.

Last but not least, there is no mosquitoes in the area, even there are so many trees and water, we had bites in other restaurants and hotel in Phuket but these was no flies in here, it was just amazing.

Location is around 5-10mins walk from the Kata main street and there is a short cut to the beach (around 100m).

Beautiful hotel nestled in the mountain just up from the Southern tip of Kata Beach. Very courteous and friendly staff right from the start. Lovely lobby area and two stunning pools overlooking Kata Beach. Both pools have swim up bars and the water is very clean. The hotel buildings rise alongside the mountain, making the views from most rooms breathtaking. We had two rooms on the top floor of the highest building (which meant 3 elevators to get to our room, but it was worth it). You can enjoy the hotel room service or just grab some food locally, sit on your verandah, and watch the sun go down. Unreal! Breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff take the extra care of asking about your experience each morning, very attentive. This hotel is only a 3 minute walk from great beachfront seafood restaurants and the Ska Bar (literally built into the side of a tree). They had an amazing fire show there on the Friday night of our stay. Overall fantastic experience, whether it's chilling poolside enjoying the views or enjoying the waves down at the beach. Highly Recommended :)

Lovely welcome at reception with a cold towel, juice and ice cream. Efficient check in and check out. The hotel has excellent pools with pool bar and offers food. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Chanalai is one of our most memorable stays in whole thailand trip. We chose to stay bit away from the action so we picked this hotel which is on the corner of Kata beach.

Location is just 300 meter away from the beach with lots of resturant nearby. Their room is very well maintained. They have 2 pools and resturant. The resort is very big and stuffs are very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I stayed here on vacation and it was beautiful especially for the price we got it for. It was ~$35/night. The view of the ocean from our balcony was beautiful! Lots of charm and a super close walk down to Kata beach.

Have the ocean view. Definitely a stunning review. Tv quality is meh. But I'm not here for the tv, just nice when decompressing to watch something that isn't grainy (refer back to looking at ocean view). Bed was lumpy.

It was a wonderful staying here with my family in November. Nice view and staffs are friendly. Especially, the manager of breakfast room. I would be back here for sure!

A good value, all in one resort for your stay in Phuket. Rooms are well sized, and the resort comes with its own pool + bar, gym and other amenities. This resort is also very conveniently located next to Kata Beach (about a five minute walk and located at the foot of the hill unlike other resorts being located much further up the hill). There are some stairs, but you do get rewarded with a good view if you have a room on the higher floors. The rooms whilst retaining a more traditional looking decor are well maintained.

We were most impressed by the high level of hospitality by the hotel staff being courteous, friendly and helpful, as they took the opportunity to check in throughout as part of making our stay welcome and comfortable.

Nice decorations resorts make our holidays have special feeling good 😊. Two pools can relax in the pool with nice drinks.

I have nothing bad to say about this place and have everything great to say about it.

Amazing hotel! Super beautiful views with an amazing price. The staff speaks English and are very friendly and helpful. They have 2 pools and a kid's pool. The swim-up bar staff, especially Ohm, is friendly and fun. Don't miss out on the buffet breakfast.

Had a 3 nights stay with my wife. A beautiful resort, with wonderful rooms directly overlooking the beach and located on the edge of Kata Beach with exceptionally good hospitality. Would like to mention some of the the staff who took care of us throughout and made sure a 'perfect' stay. Mr. Pong (guest relations), Ms. Dear (front office), Mr. Ohm (pool bar) and Mr. Man (restaurant). Thank you.

Perfect location. 300m from the beach and within walking distance of the touristy shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The view was exceptional.
