Phuket Mining Museum

Very good museum. Beyond expectation and worth the price. We were only one family in the museum, staff taking good care and explain phuket history to us. My kid enjoy role-playing in the museum with us. Small public library inside the museum.

We love taking our son for walks. exercise around the pool And can feed the fish as well. In the evening, the weather is very good.

Quiet and distant old museum in a remote location. Very beautiful building.

Netty. Was. Here. Excellent Museum to visit; especially if you need to pass time on a rainy day. The information was detailed in English on almost every display.

But the art work; time and effort that went into these displays is incredible and well thought out. I much enjoyed just looking at the displays and walking around the grounds.

There is an interactive section to keep kids and big the kids entertained as well as a section to take great selfies.

This place is about Phuket Tin mine history

Amazing value for a lovely couple of hours mooching round and taking in the fascinating mining history of our beautiful island. The displays and info boards are really well made and we had a fab time thank you 🙏

The museum is very good, but most of all we like doing the walking path up to the ridge, we love walking our dogs there of an evening, sometimes early morning.

It is a good place for the local school children for the history of phuket. A lot of information is in Thai , so a tourist found it difficult to understand. But overall, it was a nice quiet visit to this place. Additional scripts in English would have been helpful.

Another good attraction for rainy days. Its all about Phuket history and Chinese community on the island. You can spend there about 1 hour , learn something new about island and take nice pictures

Scenery and lake park at bottom of hill is great...! Didnt go in museum yet...

We knew it was closed, but went anyway. I liked what I saw. Will come back.

Quiet and out of the way, but don't let that fool you. Very decent museum for a great price (100 baht for adults, 50 for kids). Plus some nice grounds to walk around.

It is one of the worth seeing place in Phuket, Thailand. It is surrounded by hills. It seems that is a less known place there. It is nice. It has models of old ways of mining done. It has a collection of valuable stones too. It is in vast area. It is well maintained and kept clean. One must visit it. I visited it on 17.10.18. I liked it.

Quite interesting. Quiet place, only a few people were there. Good representation of tin production and people's ways of life. Would be better if more explanations were translated. Good place to visit if you are tired of beaches and crowds and want to learn something new.

I enjoyed it. The museum gives an accessable insight on the mining industry. It displays whole decors of daily living in the miner's era.
