Baan Yin Dee

Staff are brilliant. Can’t do enough to help and ensure a good stay. Location is a little further out of Patong, but we liked that as it was quieter. Hotel is small and not overcrowded which is good. Breakfast was lovely.

This hotel is special because it’s old and decorated in a traditional way. It shows its age, probably it’s best days are behind. We strangely liked the fact that it hasn’t been refurbished for some time. Room was not spotlessly clean but clean enough. Sheets, towels and main areas where you touch were clean so that was enough. Worth to mention that our room had 240cms wide bed which we will never forget. Also the rooms are pretty large so you won’t have to jump over your open luggages around. The sliding door between the bathroom/toilet and the bedroom is not really soundproof so get ready for the next level of intimacy in your relationship :) Also there is some forgivable amount of noise coming from the street so earplugs might help. Breakfast is not open buffet but choices suffice. Staff is generally friendly and attentive. They have shuttle to Patong on some hours of the day.

Very quiet resort. I was very impressed with this stay. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is located on a slight hill in Patong, which is not an obstacle at all in going to Patong Beach because the hotel has a shuttle bus. The staff advised me to visit many places. It was very good. On this trip, I was not lonely at all.

We were a group of five, who stayed at Baan Yin Dee Resort on march 2023.
The staff was very kind and very helpful with us. Breakfast and lunch, even dinner were really tasty.
The resort has different pools that are connected.
Even the location was Ok, in Patong Heights and in about 30 minutes or so walking you can reach Freedom Beach or Paradise Beach. We enjoyed a lot our stay!

Check in was very smooth , right from arrival,they offer you a welcome drink and fresh hand towels to freshen up! The staff offer very personal service and are very friendly .Chan from Housekeeping has a very lovely personality and really liked my daughter!
The staff at reception; Nez, Off, V ,Tess and Dear are always so happy to help and solve any issues! We certainly wished to stay longer.

The rooms are very spacious with a huge bathroom and balcony (it will feel like home and not just a hotel room)all amenities are provided and room is cleaned everyday.We got an upper floor room and we enjoyed waking up to the nice view of the bay and the quiet neighbourhood! .

The city, shops and nightlife of Patong is only 650m away downhill and you can walk downhill, rent a scooter or use the hotel shuttle to reach everything. There is a very nice quiet beach uphill and elephant at the beach reachable by tuk tuk or scooter!
They have a restaurant on site , floating pool breakfast and massage (at additional costs ofcourse)Overall.. we loved this hotel and would definitely recommend.

Located in a peaceful surrounding,it has a wonderful view of the nature.The rooms are clean,comfortable and spacious and there is a nice,L-shape swimming pool along and ahead of the rooms where you can enjoy.
the staff are so great, and extremely helpful.
Moreover there is an almost 10 minute walk to the beach.
i really recommend it.

My favourite place in Patong, we visited when we arrived in Thailand and loved it so much we decided to finish our trip here. There was a mistake with our booking so they went above and beyond to resolve it for us. Highly recommend always going above and beyond with their hospitality. 10/10

Loved the hotel! Breakfast was great! Staff was polite. Only issue was the transportation from main market to hotel as it is situated upwards towards the hills. Rest is good.

Cons: no jet spray.

Hotels was very beautiful and located at a calm nice and quite area up the mountain. Service was good, breakfast is great but not buffet types. There's a shuttle service from hotel to patong beach 3 times a day.

Just away from the hustle and bustle of Patong, it is a beautiful oaisis with huge rooms, lovley staff and relaxing pools with amazing views!
Last visit was 3 years ago for our honeymoon and we were spoilt so much, we truly cannot wait to return.
During high or low season, it's a beautiful place to be.

Baan Yin Dee is a boutique hotel in Phuket Thailand. The good, the hotel is beautiful, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, the food, and I'll say this twice, the food is mouth watering. The hotel has many staff activities and a pool that is always a good time despite being on the smaller side. The only thing that I would not call bad, but should be factored in is that the hotel is not beach front. Personally I like that, and they have a great modern van that will shuttle guests anywhere they would like to go. I stay here whenever I'm in Phuket and recommend it to all my friends and colleagues

When we first arrived on the first day, it was my friend's bday, and they made her day so special by giving us such a warm welcome, even left a bday msg on her bed.

All i can say is that the service was absolutely exceptional, the staff always made sure that we were well taken care of, and would always provide information/ advise us on certain activities which made our trip to phuket so much smoother. Only downside of Baan Yin Dee (which is to no one's fault) is that the rooms are a bit worn down and not well maintained. Opted for a deluxe sea view twin bed room with breakfast included. Totally worth it for the price point.

We arrived at this beautiful hotel to be greeted by the most lovely reception staff. They have been so accommodating to make everything lovely for our honeymoon. We are staying in a deluxe pool view room and it is gorgeous! We love it here! We would happily book again. The hotel is up hill out of the way of all the hustle and bustle in the town centre. It’s 5 minutes from the big C Centers by taxi. The restaurant has sea views and everything is very luxurious and Zen like. :) we are very happy with the location, room, staff and atmosphere :)

It has been a very pleasure of mine to stay at this hotel. The staffs are very nice, we have been welcome with a warm smile and a good service. The room was beyond amazing and the scenary is beautiful. The breakfast is served per table freshly made with the choice of yours. It is very good for weekend gateway you will enjoy the peaceful of your mind.

This aged but cozy resort is a true gem and a beautiful flower all in one. The traditional Thai design makes for an authentic experience and the staff are incredibly kind hearted. I stayed over two weeks during Phuket sandbox and they treated me like family. Tina was very kind, professional, and accommodating during my stay. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone who wants to get out of the city a bit but still be within close access and enjoy incredible hospitality and comfort. Baan Yindee is a very special place.

Had a very delightful stay at Baan Yin Dee. Felt very homey & easy going. Had a great meal at the restaurant (lamb chops were 10/10). Service was friendly and welcoming. The pool is a lovely feature to the hotel with trickling water from pool to pool, with a Balinese feel to it. Would definitely stay again! Thank you

The service, manners, and etiquette of the staff is amazing. The rooms are luxury. The bathroom is astounding and massive and the location is quiet. It is a small hotel but that just means better service for each guest. The breakfast is amazing. I have never had better service than what they provided. I would stay here again.

The staff is very friendly. Very accommodating and professional. The resort itself is very beautiful with multiple pools to swim in. The resort restaurant is conveniently located and the food is well presented and tasty.

Htet was an exceptional staff. She observed our needs well and initiated support whenever opportunity presented itself. Nitty was also wonderful. She gave us a lot of local insights and drove us multiple times throughout our trip by shuttle bus to Patong Beach and taxi. All in all, great customer service.

Baan yin dee is an excellent resort with tastefully decorated rooms. Housekeeping is excellent and staff here are co-operative. The hotel is loacted uphill close to patong beach yet far away from the madness of bangla road. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Will definitely stay here when I visit phuket
