I've been training at this place for a few months now after switching gyms and I can honestly say it's become my second home. The trainers are so knowledgeable and passionate about Muay Thai. Especially Coach Tom and Kru max, they both take the time to help me with technique and would not give up until i get it right. Tom always tells us sparring is about using technique, not about being the most aggressive and best. This shows he really cares about us

Dream, the receptionist there is the most kindest lady ever. It's wonderful to have someone like her who is not only nice but also super friendly and helpful. She brightens my day every time i see her with her positive energy.

I've been at Phuket King Muay Thai Gym for about two months now, training twice a day, and it's been an absolutely fantastic experience. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and comfortable. Tom and Dream, they're just incredible – super kind and always looking out for you. They even rented me one of their motorbikes for my stay, which was super helpful.

When I first arrived, Tom asked me if I wanted to fight. I thought, "Why not?" and said yes. The training for it was top-notch. Kru Max and Kru Sod are the best of the best, and they prepared me so well that I actually won my first fight in the ring! That's why I'm happily giving this place a 5-star review 😂. But seriously, I highly recommend this gym.

It's not like those other places where you feel like just another number with a price tag. Here, you can genuinely feel the support and companionship. If you're looking for a place to train Muay Thai in Phuket, Phuket King is the place to be.

For me it's a place of worship where I get to practice discipline and patience, it's a place where I get to master my senses. Kru Tom, Kru Max and Kru Sod are like the head monks who teach and train an individual to simply tolerate the utmost level of pain and and yes Muay Thai is pain!, Here they teach an art of war!

The practice session starts and ends with a warm up, followed by a practice combo drill, And few rounds of sparing and clinching everyday. The pad work where the coaches carefully pick each and every mistake a student makes and rectify them. The bag work of few hundred teeps and knees everyday. A few months of training here will turn you into a warrior. A warrior who loves and embraces pain. Muay Thai is literally pain.

I have been training Muay Thai at Phuket king for the last 3 months and Its been great.

There's classes 3 times per day.

All coaches are friendly and the classes are good for all levels.

Great for those looking to get in shape, learn and improve their Muay Thai technique or for professional fighters.

Excellent, just excellent. It's a place with highly professional Muay Thai teachers, not like your regular Muay Thai gym. Here you get to spar, pads and bag work out everyday. Everybody is friendly and the coach tries to push you little by little, tapping into every individuals potential at their own pace.

The gym has a small cafe where you can buy drinks, yogurt and snacks at a reasonable price. Everything about this place is lovable, try it once and you will never regret it.

As a foreigner who has been going to Muay Thai gyms for the past 3 years, I have learned the most at Phuket king. Having instruction in your own language (English) is vital to understanding technique, strategy and scoring. As a coach myself, I enjoy coming here bc the coaches have a passion for your skill attainment, understanding and enjoyment of the sport. Some MT gyms I’ve been to for months yet I learned more at Phuket King in a matter of weeks.

I have been training at Phuket King now for almost 4 months. I have done both the private and group training. The trainers and the service has been fantastic. Furthermore, I enjoy that I get get some weightlifting done after the Muay Thai training which has been a great workout for me, resulting in that I lost 13 kg in weight since I started 💪

Phuket King is a hidden gem in Phuket, it might not be as famous as some of the big name gym, but the training here you receive is top notch.

The trainers will get into details during the training, letting you understand why for the moves and drill.

Another example, when taking turn doing the pads and bag, trainer will tell people what they should focus in this round’s bag work, instead of just assign people to a bag and bang it for 3 minutes without training objective.

Highly recommend Phuket King to people looking to train Muay Thai in Phuket.

Unreal experience for my partner and I. We did a private muay thai session (I have never boxed before), and it's safe to say it was something I will always remember, even though it was very exhausting 😀.
I thoroughly recommend this as an activity for anyone, no matter your ability level. The instructor was skilled and kind and pushed us to our personal limits, teaching us the proper methods.
Safe to say, we have now done Thailand (IYKYK) 😀

I had to count. Over the last 10 years I have trained at 10 different clubs around Thailand. This is one of the better for sure. Less crowded and costly as some on Soi Ta-iad. Apart from pads/bags they also drill new techniques. That is something that is surprisingly missing from some places. They also seem to spar often which is also important. I was a little sceptical of a westerner leading the training but he obviously has a good grasp and knowledge of Muay Thai so that is not really an issue and if anything turns out to be a bonus. Everyone is friendly and no egos. I only went once but hope to return soon.

I came to Thailand for 1 month and I was recommended by a friend to try Phuket king, once I arrived I was greeted by friendly staff, the price was great compared to others and the level of training was 10/10, I would highly recommend anyone travelling to Phuket to at least try this Muay Thai gym, you won’t be disappointed.
