A simply perfect place for a vacation in Phuket. Good rooms. The best room service you can get. The people and the hotel staff are kind in the best possible way. I'm sure I'll go back there because it's the best hotel I've been to in the world. The people and the staff are just perfect and it's fun to be there. The pool is great and clean and is on the roof of the hotel. There is a good and quiet gym. I'll be back there I'm sure

The people of Thailand are so kind, and the staff at the Indigo Hotel live true to their culture’s high standard of hospitality. We have felt so well taken care of here. The rooms are comfortable, the shower is to die for, and the air conditioning works well. It is centrally located to great shops, restaurants, Bangla street, and the beach. I highly recommend!

Beautiful 5 star hotel in a great location, 5 mins walk to the beach and few minutes walk to the main shopping area.

There's is a food market also just a few minutes walk away. Staff at the hotel are lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing with table service for most hot food and buffet for the rest of the dishes. Large choice of different foods to chose from, from Thai to Indian curries every morning it was different dishes.

Roof top bar was also lovely beside the outdoor swimming pool. The cocktails are pricey but lovely, happy hour is between 5-7pm when most drinks are buy one and get one free. Mai Tai was the best cocktail on the menu.

Rooms where modern and seemed to be newly renovated, large flat screen TV with surround sound which also worked in the shower which is well amazing. I would stay in this hotel again.

We went on an early morning tour and the hotel provided us with a breakfast bag and beach towels which I thought was a lovely little extra. They went that extra mile which I loved.

Brilliant, clean and very comfortable modern hotel in the perfect location. Surprisingly quiet for how close you are to the action. Stunning and fun rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast is very good, nice coffee and eggs - something for everyone. Cool rooftop pool, too. Highly recommend this place.

Great new hotel with probably the best location in all of Patong!

Incredibly comfortable beds and pillows, spotlessly clean and probably the most extensive and delicious hotel buffet breakfast I’ve ever had - you’ll never run out of choices over a long stay!

Both restaurants on the property were great with a wonderful atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Happy hour was fab! Staff couldn’t do enough and were always very approachable for anything you needed. Bartender at the rooftop pool was the highlight and he made our holiday!

Even complete with all the amenities you need right on the ground floor - watsons, optical shops, 7-eleven. Top marks for location.

The only minor letdowns were:

1) The rooftop pool.

Extremely small considering this is the only pool the entire hotel gets to use if you did not book a pool access room. If I had known that the pool access rooms get access to their own private pool on the ground floor, I would have certainly booked that room category that instead. Unfortunately this was nowhere mentioned on their website and I was under the impression that everyone gets access to both pools (which is usually the case - just that pool access rooms have direct access to the pool). A bit of a shame really as the rooftop has so much wasted space for a much larger and beautiful pool/sunbathing area for a hotel of this category.

2) Very noisy hallways

Reading the reviews, we expected some road noise and decided to book a garden view room which was great as there was pretty much no noise from the roads at all (Room 422). But it seems like the walls in this hotel may be quite thin as we could hear every single person walking down the hallway even into the wee hours of the night! If you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend that you stay here. A bit of a shame really. Some thicker walls would have just made it perfect.

3) Lift maintainance

There’s only 2 lifts at the hotel and while we were staying here, maintenance works were being carried out on the lifts on Boxing Day (ultra peak season) and in the morning 9am-1pm when it was busiest with people heading for breakfast/checking out and in. While they did take turns to carry out the maintenance on the lifts, this meant that you had only one lift operating for the entire hotel at ultra peak hours - wasted a lot of time that day waiting around for the lifts. This could have been planned out much better and carried out during less peak periods IMO.

4) Lack of a Spa

Another shame really as a spa would have just rounded off this perfect hotel. Quite an oddity for a 5-star hotel in Thailand to not have a spa of its own - another wasted opportunity! That being said, the Moontree Spa at the Baan Laimai Hotel (15 mins walk away) was great. Just would have been fab to have a spa at Indigo itself!

Aside from these minor hiccups, we absolutely loved our stay and would if we were to come back to Phuket/Patong in the future, I would most certainly be booking the pool access rooms for sure!

Me and my partner were looking for a good steak and we found it in the butchers garden the steaks were beautifully cooked and it tasted amazing absolutely out of this world. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Oat our waiter was very polite and attended to our needs very well. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves a steak.

Very nice hotel right on the beach and near the hustle and bustle, however once in the complex it keeps a little privacy. Our balcony had a gate and steps straight into the pool which was nice. Good stop for a couple of nights of the trip.
On to Trang and The Sunny Hill Villa

Location is perfect, right by all the action and nightlife. Get an upgraded room without the city view, if you are a light sleeper, city room faces busy street. Rooms are good size, shower is nice and hotel gym was awesome! Bed is comfy and sleep was great. Staff was super accommodating and feels like 5 star hotel, not fake 5 stars.

We stayed 4 nights and had an amazing time at Indigo. The rooms are modern, clean and the beds are one of the most comfortable we ever had. Besides the stunning roof top pool our highlight was the staff - professional & welcoming through out the entire stay. Who made our stay especially pleasant is Bee, his warmth and friendly attitude was the cherry on top of our stay and made us feel like at home. Big thanks to the entire team!

Great hotel with a nice pool and good location a 10min walk away from the busy bangla road. Breakfast is outstanding, with a buffet and an a la carte menu for drinks, main dish and some sides. Would definitely recommend. Please note that the hotel is not right by the beach but it is only 5min walk to patong main beach. I removed one star for the bad service at the pool. Pool attendants are not attentive to guests, it is hard to get attention despite sitting at the pool bar inside the pool. Also I had to ask twice to be given the cheeseball of my lunch set that had been forgotten, then I got charged the two drinks of the happy hours deal (buy 1 get 1 free). That is no big deal but could be improved.

A great hotel in Patong

The hotel is stylish and modern, centrally located and only 5 minutes from the beach.
The pool on the roof is an absolute highlight.
The bars serve excellent drinks.
The breakfast is perfect. There is everything you could wish for. Drinks and egg dishes are served a la carte.
I would particularly like to emphasize the great service. Every member of staff is very attentive and friendly.
Gam in particular makes me smile every morning with her warm manner.

Thank you very much for this wonderful stay!

Beautiful newer hotel in Patong with hip rooms - the pool access rooms with direct private pool access are great. Breakfast is out of this world good with a mix of western and Asian choices. Fantastic service in the restaurant too - Lek and Sutrak have been taking good care of us.

I feel good resting here. The restaurant in the morning felt that the staff were good at reaching out to customers and did not close. withholding services of various genders The staff were all smiles and enjoyed their menu allocations. Until returning to rest on the roof of the building, I was impressed by the employee named Min. He can do things. Got a lot in the various places there and my wife loved how he happily opened us up to the end of the day.

We were staying at Indigo hotel Patong many times since hotel opening in 2018 and we like it everything; nice and modern rooms, good location close to the beach, friendly staff and great food option for breakfast and at the hotel restaurant bar Pots, Pints & Tikis. But by our last stay we was disapointed with the main swimming pool area at the roof. Jacuzzi was broken and water was not really clean with some broken things near bar area, its was a dangerous to swim there. and the entire swimming pool area looks a bit tired and not so clean for a new hotel. Staff by swimming pool was lazy and unprofessional.

1. The bed is very comfortable with the set of pillows. I usually had difficulty with pillows

2. We selected room facing swimming pool and very quiet. Having said that, since we stayed during friday night and weekends, there were loud bands playing musics but they stop before 11pm.

3. Nearby to beach and Bangla roads, very good location. I am not fancy to really stay facing the beach with busy roadsides and not keen on really the middle of the town.

4. The staffs in the lobby are very pleasant and welcoming, happy to see them keep smiling. Some of the staff in Butcher cafe was the opposite, perhaps they were tired.

Overall, i am very happy. Hopefully can choose to stay here in the future

We booked Indigo from IHG because of this famous Indigo brand name at tourist locations.
When we arrived at this hotel late on Oct 28. We got very warm welcome from Pum. He is the best receptionist we ever met during this one month trip compared with Marriott, crown plaza and holiday inn express.
The hotel design is modern with special interior room design. Facilities are well maintained. Roof top pool is impressive.

Easily the best hotel in Patong. Very, very good. Great location, excellent staff (especially Chom and Bow who are exceptional and deserve high praise, and a big pay rise!), superb breakfast buffet, great gym, nice pool, lovely rooms and great recognition for loyalty members. I am always made to feel very welcome and treated so well, which is why I will keep returning. The breakfast buffet is better than the Intercontinental with a great choice in a nice space with attentive hard-working staff. The gym is better equipped than the Intercontinental, though it could do with another bench near the dumbbells and is a little warm. The rooftop pool is very nice. The pool access rooms have their own ground-level pool, which is also very nice and realtively quiet. Rooms are well equipped, perfectly clean, and manage to be stylish and comfortable at the same time, with high quality fixtures and furnishings, nice toiletries, luxurious robes and slippers, good WiFi, nice showers, and offering peaceful privacy. Good underground car park. The Tiki bar was a massive disappointment and I would not recommend going there to eat because it is more of a bar than a restaurant, though the menu is fine and available via room service. Service from front desk staff, at breakfast, from the cleaners, and every staff member I've encountered has been exceptional. If you're an IHG rewards member wondering whether the (very small) extra price compared to Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express is worth it, the answer is very definitely yes. Considering the quality of rooms, amenities, dining, and most of all service, judging by value for money this is one of the best city hotels in Phuket.

Great hotel with wonderful service. 5 mins walk to Patong beach, 10 minutes to Bangla Road - so close enough to be central but also avoiding much of the noise. Good breakfast choices, staff are wonderful
