A lot of Thai people come here to prey. As usual temple is good. You will find a big lying Buddha inside the temple. Some rabbit is the god here. Don't know about the history as most of the people can speak Thai only.

Could have a bookstall in English for the myth of the temple.

At the time of writing the temple is being worked on but there's much to do around the temple to see the garden and the other structure and architecture
There are shops and places to sit and enjoy the tranquility

A very beautiful temple set atop a small hill on the outskirts of Nan city. The first sight from the road when you arrive is this wide staircase flanked by two big Nagas. Before entering the walled temple complex, there is a smaller building on the left next to a Chedi which contains a nice reclining Buddha. Do not miss coming to this temple.

Visit 28/3/2019 - Large complex with many temples, shrines, statues and Chedi. Take time to explore. Many golden Buddha statues.

One of Nan’s most important temples, located just a few kilometers south-east of the town. Established in the 14th century.

One of the most sacret temple Nan. The gold stupa is built in a Lanna style. People come here for spiritual pray. It is usually quiet and peacful. However, the temple will be crowded during important festivals.

This is a truly original historic Buddhist temple that is sacred unlike many of the modern more commercialized temples. There are young guides to show you around if you wish and walking under the elephant 3 times will bring good luck to believers. A modern copy of this temple is in Chaing Rai but this is the original and part of unseen Thailand's true wonders.

"Phra That Chae Haeng" is the most sacred stupa in Nan Province. It's located in the east out of town on a hill across the Nan river.

It's believed that "Phra That Chae Haeng" is the temple for people who were born in the year of the Rabbit in the Chinese zodiac.
