I loved my bike trip in the Chiangmai countryside, and James was the best guide I could ask for. The tour is an authentic way to learn about Thai day-to-day life. It takes you through small villages, rice plantations, countryside temples and stops at a family-ran restaurant for some delicious lunch. If you’re lucky to get James as a guide, you’ll be sure to have a lot of fun along the way.

We booked the Old Chiang Mai tour and things couldn't have been better, despite the scorching heat. The bikes are well maintained, the guide very nice and knowledgeable and funny.
The ride itself was easy enough for a 5 years old, we had many breaks (temples, a food market where we had the lunch, a family run place were they served us delicious smoothies), 90% of it through alleys with little traffic.
Thank you for taking care of our family and for the great way of presenting this town to us!
Greetings from Anna, William, and Alexander!

We loved our guide T!!! Did a full day e-bike ride with train to Lamphun. Before the ride T asked us how much he should talk and we said LOTS. He gave excellent insight into everything we passed and could answer all of our questions - with great humor sprinkled in. Highly recommend T!

My family and I completed the old city day bike tour. Farm was our instructor. Of all the activities I completed during my one week stay in Chiang Mai, I would say this bike tour was the highlight of my trip. Farm was an incredible instructor, and took us (at our own place) throughout the old city while giving us a good grasp of the history of this area. This city is very special.

We had the princess tour guide Nei Nei and she was phenomenal! We learned so much from her about the history of Chiang Mai and she took very good care of us! One of the best tour guides we've ever had! When we got back the rest of the team offered us snacks and drinks and took the time to talk to us. They were all so awesome! highly recommend. These people made us love Chiang Mai even more!

Our guide, Farm, was enthusiastic, helpful, knowledgeable and incredibly safety conscious throughout our trip. We took the Chiang Mai Countryside trip. The bikes are new and we also had a trailer bike for our 5 year old. We started at the office and took a gentle ride to the train station - everything was organised. Once we arrived in Lamphun and spent the rest of the day on a gentle cycle through the beautiful countryside on safe roads with frequent stops at temples, photo spots, lunch, and a coffee shop. The kids loved it, our guide was amazing and it was a thoroughly enjoyable 50km cycle (easy). Highly recommended. 👍

Grat tour with Mr. Gun exploring the country side, picking fruit on the side of the road, experiencing village life, tempels and getting insight into the life of loca monks and people. We got to take train 30 KM away from Chiang Mai which was as an experience as well and had lunch at a local side eatery.

I did the Chiang Mai Old Town cycling tour with Discova and it was great. The bikes were in great condition and the group was kept small so the tour was intimate and attentive to everyone’s needs. The sites we visited were well picked out and riding through the backstreets of Chiang Mai Old Town was a unique experience.

Don was a great guide who was chilled out and very knowledgeable. Bright and Stang also joined us on the tour and they had extensive knowledge and added so much to the group dynamic.

Highly recommend the tour!

A great experience, by far one of the best things we did whilst in Chiang Mai. Great to see a different side to the city, cycling through the alley ways felt very safe and our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Bikes were great quality and even had water ready for you. A must do whilst in Chiang Mai and very affordable. 10/10.

This was amazing. We went on the Chiang Mai night tour. Boy and Nene were our tour guides and they took us through the back alleys of the city, gave us insight into the history and culture of Chiang Mai. Definitely would recommend. So glad we went.

Our 7-member group aged 10 to 74 thoroughly enjoyed the 3-hour+ leisure cycling discovering the unique secrets of Chiang Mai. Our guide, Gun was able to share with us the history of Chiang Mai, and making it interesting at the same time. Definitely worth the money we spent

An excellent tour with Grasshopper and our amazing guide Gun, the tour was super well organized and totally professional in every aspect.
The countryside was beautiful and the brief history of Buddhism given by Gun during the day was really interesting.
I'd really recommend checking these people out, Gun and the whole team at Grasshopper were absolutely amazing, the care and attention to detail was excellent.

I had a lovely time cycling around Chiang Mai’s old city with a very hospitable and knowledgeable tour guide, Khun Amy. She even introduced me to yummy Thai delicacies and happily talked about the history of Chiang Mai. It’s an interesting tour especially for first time visitors of CM. I am looking forward to try their other cycling tours in the future.

With over 300 temples, lots of winding streets, and multiple food markets in Chiang Mai the Historic Old City Tour is the way to see the city. Having a guide to explain the history, temples, and food really made the day and the rest of my trip really enjoyable. This tour truly shows you the best parts of the old city, gets you to try local food, and avoids the busy streets letting you get a glimpse into city life.

This was probably the most physically demanding day of our two-week stint in Cambodia and Thailand. The tour claims to be 50km but by the time we finished, my FitBit showed that we had cycled 61km in total plus a 26km train ride in the middle. Regardless, I found the scenery and countryside so enjoyable that I didn’t feel any tiredness. This was not the same for my partner Sue who was suffering from a bit of travellers sickness at the time. The only tough part of the ride to me was an uphill section near the end and facing a bit of rush hour traffic once we arrived back in Chaing Mai. I’m 48 and run 5km a couple times a week; I found this ride not to be difficult however others in our group did.

The guides, Gun and Pauly, were amazing in that they were proactive in stopping traffic to allow our group to cross through busy intersections. The amount of car traffic that it looked like we would have to face looked a bit daunting. That is, until Gun and Pauly took charge. Fortunately, Thai vehicle drivers are patient when it comes to dealing with cyclists and there is virtually no sign of road rage towards them. This was refreshing as it completely the opposite of what I’m used to at home in Australia.

We toured temples and farms and the guides were excellent at explaining Buddhism and farming practices, quite a diversified list of topics. Lunch was great too!

I don’t want to give away too much else. I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again myself if given the chance.

Amazing fun with our guide Boy. Fantastic way to see changmai and all it has to offer. Boy was a great guide, very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Bikes were in good condition with all the necessary safety precautions such as lights and hemet (safety first). Overall the food and bike tour was a great experience.

It’s a good company for bike tours, I loved our tour today it was almost 60 kilometers of cycling through the country side, but i recommend to not go in tours for long distance like this one if you are not good in cycling and you are not fit to do it because it’s not an easy tour for beginners, besides they have shorter distance trips for beginners

I really enjoyed the full day tour with He. She took good care of us, was very friendly and good at English, the route was very nice with lots of smaller streets and the lunch was great. Also the bikes were in good condition. Fully recommended to get an impression of the countryside around Chiang Mai.
