The hard work done by the museums owner is worth reading about. Do visit the exhibit hall where all the history of Ganesha and other religious origins is explained in detail. A very rare treasure in Chiang Mai!

Visited here to pay respects to the controversial Kru Kai Kaew shrine. It's been here in Chiang Mai a long time, with connections to Lamphun. They also have ceremonies on certain days, including Ganesh and Rahu. A little out of the way, but very cool shrine.

This was my favorite temple in Chiang Mai. If you are looking to pay homage to Shivago (Buddha's physician) you can do that here! It's a relaxing and beautiful spot.

Very near to the Chiang Mai bus station this shrine is surprisingly peaceful and beautiful. It's also in use and many locals and visitors come to make offerings to the Hindu God Ganesha so try to be culturally aware.
