Easier parking on a MBike and the imported foods are expensive when compared to local varieties.

But with that said, this Mae Hia Rimping is packed with great food choices; sometimes their are enticing afternoon specials.

There are many items here you cannot find otherwise. See fab photo of monks making their food choices.

Near Mae Hia fresh market, Rimping is also one of my favourite super market in Chiang Mai

Nice store to buy western food. Great but expensive produce. Indian frozen food. Nice restaurant. Great place to cool off on a hot day.

Rimping tends to cater to the expat community and stocks a variety of foods that other stores don't carry. For example: we needed Salsa for a Mexican meal we were preparing and 2 other stores that we checked out did not have it.

Not a fan of shopping but sometimes we need to. Then this is a place where it's definitely a joy. Classical music and lots of fresh veggie choices. Mostly not in plastic. But hope in future more in leaves etc.

I like the place. This Rimping Branch was built to answer to basic questions like where to easily have food on your lazy morning while grabbing some essential grocery for the weekend. This branch has all the answer. I really like their little dining inside which serves enough menu to have you get by nicely with Breakfast and Lunch. Price is surprisingly cheap to me since it is Rimping I thought many menus would start around 100THB but it's cheaper. Pad Thai is around less than 100THB as I can recall. Mind you that they have cost for the whole setting of the dining so of course it is going to be higher than street food Pad Thai.

This grocery store is where I go for certain hard-to-find items. One, I like their sub rolls, or baguettes as they're labeled here. I also like the hamburger rolls they sell. Another item I like to buy here is pre-formed hash browns. I think you get 9 for around 100 baht. If I need a particular spice that Westerners use I can usually find it at Rimping. Another nice thing about this Rimping is that they have a little restaurant area which opens at 6 am. This means you can get breakfast or coffee at 6 am, and that's hard to find around here. I just thought of another item I like to buy here, jam. They normally have a nice European brand on sale for a little over a 100 baht. There is a separate pharmacy area as well.

The parking can be a little tricky. There are a few spots in front, and some behind the store as well. More parking spaces are available behind Mae Hia Market, which is basically right next door. There are multiple bank ATMs nearby as well and actually one bank, GSB is above Rimping on the 2nd Floor of what is technically called Mali Place. But I tried to get a taxi to 'Mali Place' before and the driver never heard of it. The entire buying area is called Mae Hia (May He A, hard and very short A) market. Every taxi driver knows where Mae Hia is.

Convenient store with plenty of imported food such as grains, psyllium, different sauces, nuts, gluten-free, dairy-free stuff and etc., fresh bakery. There is a thai restaurant inside the store.

It's great with price and imported goods and stocked with all kinds of food. Would be better if they stocked at night instead of during the day

My local grocery shop. Has a
good range of food and drink, though when doing a big shop I go to Kad Farang.
