Krisdadoi Resort

The hotel was really great. The staff whose name Prang was really kind and sincere. When you come to Chiangmai, I recommend this hotel.

This place is a dump. You will see pictures of beautiful rooms and restaurants. The reality - the rooms are dingy, the smell is unbearable, and outside the windows was prison wire cut down and left to rust. The gardens are beautiful. The pool is frigid and was full of leaves. The Cafe didn't serve coffee, smoothies or desert - but they can cook the normal Thai favourites - which was average at best.

Update - the hotel moved us to a new room. Much nicer. But - the shower had mould, almost electocuted by a faulty lamp, bed was really hard, room not cleaned properly as the precious guest's make-up was left under the desk and floor was dirty and the internet/wifi was flakey. The pool has been cleaned this morning. So looking great - albeit still too cold for a swim.

So this place is outrageously expensive for a walk in the gardens and a bad night's sleep. Avoid.
