Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai - MGallery

We stayed at the Veranda for 3 nights and our experience has been one of the most beautiful ever.

We are pure vegetarian with allergies to certain diet. The resort duty managers made sure to provide us with vegetarian food as well as plates of mangoes even though it isn't a proper season of mangoes.

At night also. On request room service was available.

Peaceful place. Great location. Amazing people.

My wife and I got the day pass to spend time at the pool. The day pass was 700bhat per person and comes with a welcome drink and pool towels. We swam and took with views in. Sunset was beautiful. If you are looking for a kid free then this is not the place. It’s hard to enjoy the views when there are kids screaming but this is a family resort. Regardless, I would recommend to get the day pass because the pool and views are incredible.

Lovely location for a getaway, friendly staffs, the environment will blow you away. Nestled among the hills, amazing view of the white castle temple. The infinity pool was amazing.

Rooms was in good conditions.

Check-in was smooth and we were greeted with delicious welcome drinks. The lobby and entrance were beautiful! This hotel was very peaceful and it was just what we needed to get away from the busy city. The property was serene and very calming. We had the 60 minute massage and it was incredible and reasonably priced! Breakfast buffet had many options and was delicious!! Pool was large and not very busy with gorgeous views of the mountain and temple. Did the temple walk with pong, he was great! Staff were friendly and approachable. We enjoyed the free shuttle to Ao Nang and back. Hotel was close to Elephin cafe which we loved!! The room was clean and spacious. I had requested something for my husbands birthday and they surprised him with “happy birthday” decorations and a cake, he loved it! We enjoyed our stay here. Only disappointment was not getting an upgrade despite the hotel being low occupancy during our visit, which even the staff mentioned it was low occupancy. We had requested an upgrade ahead of time. Overall we enjoyed our two nights here!

We were here for 4 days with a lovely suite including a private pool. Amazing service, food at resort is very good. We had breakfast here each day before doing various excisions including Doi Inthanon and elephant sanctuary. Only downside was a loud wedding one evening, but otherwise a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

The photos don't do it justice, but they do prepare you for what to expect. The resort is a fantasic place to escape away for a few days in the hills. The hotel is a bit of a drive from the hustle and bustle of central Chiang Mai, if you are wanting a city holiday this isn't for you. For everyone else, the hotels own shuttle service makes it easy to get around. Very friendly staff, we loved it.

We got a room upgrade. Even if it is a very short booking we ate all the food at every outlet, which had a delicious taste and good service. We will definitely go back again soon.

The location and property are stunning. I was kindly upgraded to a plunge pool room. The name is a misnomer, it's actually a small infinity pool that doubles as a jacuzzi; cannot recommend more! If the budget doesn't stretch, the main pool in Instagrammably gorgeous. As a guest, you're effectively nestled in the jungle. Get outside and listen to the sounds at night. Absolutely unforgettable. PRO TIP: there's very little around the resort, and I read that it's hard to find transport options. I hired a motorcycle for 2 days that was cheaper than a 1 way grab

I'm excited to share the amazing time our vegan group from World Vegan Travel had at Veranda Resort. Working with Thierry, the head chef, and Anchalee, who took care of event organization, made our stay truly special.

Thierry's culinary skills were on full display as he crafted two incredible Thai dinners tailored specifically for our vegan group. The variety and flavors of the dishes were outstanding, and our travelers couldn't stop raving about the delicious meals.

Anchalee, managing the event organization, was not only accommodating but also really understood our vegan needs. Her careful planning ensured that our dietary preferences seamlessly blended into the events. Anchalee's professionalism made the collaboration hassle-free and enjoyable for everyone.

Beyond the dining experiences, the overall atmosphere and service at Veranda Resort were impressive. Our vegan travelers appreciated not just the fantastic food but also the hotel's dedication to accommodating our specific requests. They have suttle bus after checkin to go to city(no pick up before check in)
Far from city, but around this resort is very local area, intersting for visitor like restaurent, market that you can come by walk.

Beautiful pool and grounds and lovely staff, a small hotel and it makes it feel very exclusive. It’s a small village with not a lot of food options but luckily the hotel food is great and reasonably priced especially if an Accor member.

I fully relaxed in a very beautiful resort.
F&B staffs are very kind and active.
I definately go back to this resort soon and will stay longer next time.

Absolutely loved this place. I would reccommend you stay here. We had a villa with a jacuzzi.

Great views. Great service and staff. So thankful they even check if we left something during checkout. Some warnings:

- Many stairs. There’s no way to get to kids room without going up or down stairs, so it’s not very convenient with strollers.
- the water temperature during shower gets hot and cold randomly — steaming hot and tap cold back and forth
- the location is a little out from the way. Without a car, you may have to dine in the hotel (food is good though but not a lot of variety of Thai food). Ordering in is possible but not a lot of choices or high fees.
- desk can order you Taxi but you may find it cheaper with different apps to compare.

We would be happy to come again.

From the seamless check in from app, to the reception, to the wonderful room, bellboy, and tour to temple by Jackie, all have been extremely wonderful, that I managed to check out in time for my flight despite a little risk by joining the temple tour.

Firstly I’d like to say a big thank you. I left £200 in my hotel room & called back hours later once I realized I had done this. The hotel recovered my money & I collected it hours later, amazing service! The swimming pool & room were both unreal, far from the Centre but worth the experience if you want a luxurious few nights away! The breakfast was amazing too, thank you again!

We stayed two nights at Veranda Resort and it was amazing. From the moment you arrive to the reciption area, you will be amazed by the natural design of the resort. We booked a pool villa and the room was spacious and nice yet the private pool was small (2m x 3.5m). The breakfast is various and there is a kids club, spa and daily shuttles to the city.
The only things I did not like is the low pressure water at the rain shower, and the mosquitos which is natural as we are staying in the middle of the jungle.

At the evening, you can hear loud sounds of different forest frogs.

I would highly recommend the resort for quiet relaxation from the city.

Highly recommend a place to get away. Quick check in, friend staff, free buggy round the clock(of course you would want to stroll around with foot to enjoy the cold and scenery). Clean and Spacious room, especially like their lemongrass flavour shower gel.. can see the white temple from the infinity pool, that was really panoramic.. Breakfast is really good too, especially like their pork porridge with various condiment and egg fried rice!!! A little disappointment is cannot get any grab car here , have to take a taxi at TB600 to old town. Overall, very satisfied with the stay there.
