The Elephant Training Center Chiang Dao

Great environment, in the nature forest good for elephant. Nice quiet forest to have boat rafting ride or elephant ride. Not too commercial place. You can enjoy tranquilness. Recommend to take rafting ride if you have time. This place only one half day. They do not let elephants work after 12.

Gorgeous scenery, quiet, not overrun by tourists, this small Elephant centre has 6 elephants managed by Mr. Nong, a delightful man who truly loves what he's doing.
Open until 12.30, when the elephants are bathed and taken to the forest to relax. Wonderful experience all around

Sad that they got impact by COVID and sold all elephants away.

We shall try to coordinate for the camping there with our friends.
A perfect place to sleep and listening to deep jungle sound.
Even it was lunch time, i and my partner were so sleepy after sitting for a while there.

Optimal experience for getting in touch with elephants without having bad feelings about it. 3 Elephants in good shape: you can feed them with bananas (30 bht per bunch), tease them, they show them bathing in the river, working in the forest and if you like (and pay extra for it) you can ride on a saddle on them through the jungle and in the river together with the mahout.
Elephants only work few hours per day so they can feed themselves in the forest for the rest of the day in a calm and natural way without being disturbed.

Very Nice Place to be. The camp is right beside Ping river. I took the elephant ride in the forest and into the river. It was really amazing experience. Be sure to bring your dry bag with you since it can get wet. For the elephants lover like myself, there's no place more fascinating than the Chiang Dao Elephant Training Center.

Elephant camp in a natural surrounding. You can feed the elephant with banana bunch and watch elephant bathing in the morning on the way to Chiang Dao.

ตอนเช้ามีโชว์ช้างอาบน้ำในแม่น้ำ สวยมากๆ เงียบสงบ ด้านในมีร้านอาหารติดริมแม่น้ำ

チェンマイ市内から1時間ちょっとかかるので、ちょっと遠いけど、お客さんも少なく、ショーも近くで見れたし、たまたまかましれないがチップも要求されることなく気持ちよく過ごせました。午前中のみなので、朝頑張って行かないといけないですが。

我們選擇讓大象陪著我們漫走象園，12月的清邁正涼爽，步入林間，一整片綠，心曠神怡，可以恣意的呼吸整片林間的清新。除了大象移動的腳步聲，沒有絲毫甘擾這片寧靜的雜音。行進間…偶爾看見象夫用腳輕觸大象的耳朵，似乎在作某種示意，仿佛是在傳遞只屬於他們之間的信息。有種親密關係的体現，從我的角度看過去，大象的耳朵很漂亮，耳垂有著天然的漸層，還有小小的原點，很可愛，隨著步伐輕輕晃動，行至淺溪時與河裡的小石色澤揮映出的畫面，意外的融合……
經由這次象園的體驗，對於人與大象可以在大自然親密的互動著，有些許的感動！大自然無價……生命的交流更是無價……

到象園走在吊橋時，我聽到微弱的鈴噹聲，放眼望去看到有象從遠處走來，仔細看是三頭象上面坐著三位訓象師，除了隱約的鈴鐺聲他們安靜的從岸邊走來，又沿著河岸緩緩走進河水裏，不常看到大象的我被這畫面震撼不已，瞬間時光彷彿停止，眼前只有人與象安靜的同時存在，存在在這綠意盎然涓涓流水的環境裏，那時我覺得這畫面很不可思議也很動人，感動眼前大象與人的親密與和諧，感動環境的自然，我想這是我在象園裏最喜歡的部份之一。

ปางชางเชียงดาวปัจจุบันไม่มีการแสดงช้างแล้วเนื่องจากปางช้างมีช้างให้บริการนักท่องเที่ยว3เชื่อก แต่นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเข้ามาเดินเที่ยวดูช้างได้ถึงเที่ยง (ไม่มีค่าเข้า) 😊

Chiang Dai Elephant Camp currently does not offer elephant shows (only 3 elephants are available for riding) but visitors are welcome to come visit the camp until noon (no entrance fee).

Unlike other elephant camps, after 12:00PM the camp is closed to visitors and the elephants are released to feed in the natural jungle and rest. Due to COVID and the changing public opinion on elephant riding, the camp is struggling to support its mahouts and feed its elephants. The camp offers elephant riding (8:30 - 12:00 PM mon - sun) and a bamboo rafting tour down the Mae Ping River.
