I ended up here based on the recommendations of both a Facebook group and a friend. A different friend said her cleaning wasn’t thorough, so I was torn on what to do. I decided to go and experience it for myself. I first took my kids there for cleanings. Positive front desk experience. The pediatric dentist was very patient and empathetic. She had to remove one baby tooth along and do cleanings. The kids got toys afterward. The dentist next to her also did a good job and did cleaning and a filling. My kids were happy with their visit. Another farang patient also told me about his years of positive visits.
I had my own visit today. My thoughts were to get a cleaning and exam and then base potential next steps on how good I felt about my visit. I’m not discounting the bad reviews, but today’s was one of the best dental visits I’ve ever had in my life. Not exaggerating. Dr. Jarunee had excellent bedside manner and periodically asked if I was in any discomfort. She heard my story and synthesized the info well. I felt seen and heard and respected. And her assistant was in sync with her. I was blown away that I never had to request the suction tube to get that last little bit of spit out of my mouth. The assistant was that thorough! Lol. The visit would’ve been over after the deep cleaning, but I requested x-rays. Dr. Jarunee looked them over, and unlike what previous reviewers said, she didn’t suggest additional work. If she were trying to make money, she could’ve suggested some expensive procedures. However, she gave me a positive outlook that with proper home care and regular cleanings, I should be ok for a while. Again, I’m not discounting the experiences of others, nor am I commenting on other doctors. I’m just saying my kids and I are all smiles about our visits to Empress.

Awesome is an understatement. Excellent and friendly service. I spoke English there, like I was at the dental office back home in the US.

Excellent dental practice. Well equipped , professional and convenient . The staff were all very courteous and helpful . The prices of treatment are very reasonable . Highly recommended.

I will not name any individuals because everyone was very professional in this office. I had 4 visits for deep cleaning and build a bridge crown. From the begin to the finished product the entire team was very professional polite and helpful. I can highly recommend to anyone. It was worth it to come from California with a nice vacay time. I have always hated the dentist and was really nervous to come, BUT the hygienists were really accommodating and they did a thorough job. I usually have sensitive morals and gums but they NEVER nicked me or made my gums bleed. Even when they flossed, usually dentists jam the floss up high but Empress was very gentle.
I was in and out in just over 30mins.
I’ll come back for another cleaning next time!

Empress Dental. They are professional,competent and always courteous. The staff went out of their way to answer any questions I had .regarding my treatment and what was needed in a friendly manner. Their work is top quality.

We highly recommend Empress Dental. The staff are personable, quick communication, and the prices are reasonable. We've had experiences with other dental service providers where they "find" several things that need to be "fixed." We've never felt that way at Empress. The staff are always friendly and it is easy to make appointments online or by phone. The response time to emails is prompt and we have never had a problem with getting an appointment with the dentists that we like. Our dentists are professional (Dr. Jarunee and Dr. Puck) and take time to answer questions or concerns. The office overall is very clean and comfortable. There is adequate parking and a nice restaurant in front.

We came here by recommendations of several groups of expats to treat my 10 year old daughter. The special children doctor was amazing and nice. We were in and out in 20 minutes and the cost was only 500 bahts for a check-up and x-ray. English is spoken and they were all amazing.

Love the service here. I got fillings and cleaning done. The dentists are so gentle and patient. All my questions are answered and they taught me how to prevent tooth decay.

The staff are very professional and so friendly. You typically only wait less than 5 minutes if you have an appointment but the first time I came there, I had no appointment and still waited less then 5 minutes even they seemed very busy. I had an emergency. I am an American ex pat working in chiang Mai. They were prompt, professional, cared that I had pain and concern and they quickly and compassionately fixed my issue. The first time I came in they did a very low cost temporary fix of a broken crown just to ease my discomfort and get me through it. They were honest with me. They said “you could probably for some quite some time on the way we fixed this and you would be fine. We recommend that you replace the crown because it actually broke and split done the middle kind of. But they cemented it in so that I could live as normal life as long as I needed to before coming back to get it fixed permanently. They did not do high pressure sales to come back quickly and get it actually fixed. They said that this will hold for a pretty long time but we do recommend you get it fix when you can. After a couple of weeks I decided to go ahead and get the permanent fix. They were awesome. They were understanding it my needs. The prices were very reasonable and the service was quick when professional. I am very happy with the finished product but more impressed with their staff, the kindness, the courtesy and the professionalism. As long as we live in Thailand, this will be our dentist. You should check them out.

My husband has had some major dentistry done by Dr Jarunee at her clinic and is more than satisfied by the extremely professional care that he has received. I wish that we could give her a more than 5 star rating. Dr Jarunee is very gentle and more than competent in her work and patient approach. We both highly recommend her. Her whole staff is great. By the way, she speaks English and also German.

I am originally from California and have been a patient at empress Dental for nearly 4 years. Their new facility is wonderful and conveniently located just off of the Canal Road going south towards Hang Dong/Samoeng. Empress Dental clinic provides very comprehensive services including surgery if needed. They have a great team of specialists who, in most cases, are only a few rooms away within the same building. I have been very happy with their services and due to their professional examinations and impeccable care, the results for my current oral hygene are now excellent. I highly recommend empress Dental clinic for all types of dental needs!

The staff were professional, spoke good English and were able to give me a same-day appointment. The appointment was on time by the minute, prices were reasonable and was I was very happy with the service.

We visit Empress dental at least once a year when we are traveling and have the routine checkup and clean.
We travelled this time from sri lanka via Vietnam just to receive the incredible warm welcome and 5 star treatment.
They are impecable, kind hearted and very welcoming people who focus there attention on client care before profit.

It is a little outside chiang mai, but the professionalism is well worth the extra.
