We love hiking and we appreciate the idea of having a nature trail on the island. However, I cannot recommend walking the trail, as it isn't really maintained. The path is difficult to find at times and when we nearly reached the top of the hill there was a big nest of HORNETS, right next to the trail. Our family of five was attacked and separated, when we passed by we got stung about six of seven times each and were lucky when we finally got out of the woods.
