Mountain Resort Koh Lipe

We recently spent 5 days at mountain resort and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff are lovely and provided excellent service. We really enjoyed the diverse choices at breakfast each morning. Also the beach is beautiful and the resort provides many beach chairs, umbrellas and shady spots. We also really enjoyed the delicious pad Thai at the beach restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

I think it's one of our favourite island in Thailand and this is definitely been a great choice. Nice, clean rooms and options for room with pool and sea view which is awesome.

They have a private beach access its clean and nice for snorkeling, swimming.
Also they have a shuttle service to take you to main market/happening place by the main public beaches.

Overall definitely recommended and we will definitely be back if we come to this area again.. we travelled with family this time, kids, grandparents etc.. Nice for couples, family.

We had a lovely stay at this resort! We came for 5 days and loved it! The facilities are super nice, the access to the beach is on a perfect spot to enjoy the hole day at the beach.

There’s a shuttle to take to go to the walking street were you may find a lot of the shops and restaurants on the island, this is very convenient taking into account that if not is a little bit far away from this part of the island.

The rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. If we come back to the island we would love to come back to this hotel, I would definitely recommend it

The hotel is located on a small hill which you can use some steps to reach the great beach. The Walking Street where can be accepted as the center of the island is just 10 minutes away on foot. They also provide a very frequent shuttle service from 6 pm to 10 pm. The turquise sea view is amazing from most of the rooms. You can enjoy the white sand beach all day with refreshing drinks from Symbolic Cafe. Staff is always polite and helpful. Open buffet breakfast includes enough variety of food. We find the prices reasonable for such a nice place to stay. This place is always number 1 on our list. Highly recommended.

A good resort considering price vs quality. Pretty good and spacious rooms with big balconies overlooking the sea. Clean, good level of service, great access to the most beautiful beach. Breakfast assortment is huge with everything from western to Chinese food. Recommend!!

Amazing location and great facilities. Simple but good rooms/bungalows. Just 15 min walk to Main Street, and the resorts meets up at the immigration point when arriving.

Great breakfast with a lot of fruits. But the closeness to the best beach on the island is the best attribute. Good snorkeling as well.

I absolutely loved my stay at this resort in Ko Lipe! The staff was incredibly helpful and always went the extra mile for our comfort. They even provided convenient pick-up and drop-off services from the pier, making our arrival and departure hassle-free.

The buffet breakfast on their deck offers the best view on the entire island – breathtaking! The food at the breakfast was not only delicious but also had a huge variety. The cheerful staff serving with a smile added an extra touch.

While the rooms aren't overly luxurious, they are spacious and comfy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and they even moved us to a room with a better bed when the initial mattress didn't meet our comfort expectations. My only suggestion would be softer pillows.

They have a pool that I didn't use, but I noticed the pool man diligently cleaning it every morning.

The location is simply stunning, offering the best beach spot on the island. Just a few stairs down, and you're in paradise.

Plus, the convenience of a shuttle bus every 20 minutes between 6-10 pm to take you to Walking Street was a fantastic bonus.

The café/restaurant downstairs had cozy beach chairs, making it a perfect spot to relax.

Overall, I was super happy with my experience at this hotel, and I will definitely come back!

Mountain Resort is amazing. The view of Ko Adang and the ocean is absolutely stunning. The resort features a beautiful tropical garden in which the rooms and pool are situated. The rooms are maybe a little old but clean and they have everything you could ask for. The extensive breakfast buffet overlooking the view is almost the highlight of my day on Ko Lipe. The private beach is perfect for relaxing and watching both the sunrise and sunset. The shuttle to walking street is also very convenient. This place is a dream come true, especially if you are into tropical gardens 🌴🌿

Awesome place and location. Steps are too gad if you've two good legs. Beautiful, stunning clean beach with all necessary deckchairs beanbags and playground for kids. A wonderful cozy and quiet place in #kohlipe

Amazing resort. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Also, if we go back to koh lipe, this is the place we are gonna stay at for sure. We stayed here for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The beach here is the best in koh lipe and you do not need to go to any other place. The view from their restaurant is probably the best possible view in koh lipe.

Very clean, comfortable,great view, tasty breakfast friendly and helpful stuff...everything is great. Our second time in Thailand and we can say this is one of our favorite places in Thailand. We hope that we will came few more times in our lives. All recommendations for this resort...

Everything was so beautiful! The staff are so friendly. This will be the only place I will really miss. There was only a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom and it stopped after days. But never a problem. I also fell in love with these dogs . I wouldn't get tired of them if I stayed here for years🥹😭😭❤🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

Mountain Resort is the most beautiful spot on the island, with a fantastic view, if you get the right room. I was on the ocean view room, and it was the best view I saw on the island, right outside of my bedroom! I am looking at it now. Beautiful. The infinity pool is amazing too and is very useful on the island, as it's hot. Mountain Resort is a must go-to!

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Location is perfect near the best beach on the island. It is quiet there and calmer than on the other side of the island. Will come back again. Nice of them to provide free shuttle to the Pier or main walking street.

Clean rooms and bathroom with a great wieu from the balcony, stayed in a seawieuroom. A plus if you like the sound of frogs;)
Nice and also very clean beach below the resort with a little bar with fresh fruit juice and cold beer. Nice for snorkeling also.
Free taxiservice in the evenings to walking street. Booked with agoda in last minute so the price was half of standard.

Everything about this place is 5* - from the room, to the staff, breakfast and location.

The room is huge and everything is new! The bathroom is very clean (unlike many other places), bed and pillows super comfy, great A/C and large terrace. We had the New Deluxe garden room - booked directly with them at the reception. The view from the room is outstanding, you can see the sea ❤

The breakfast is very varied, both thai and western food, lots of fresh fruit and fried eggs or omelette made on the spot. The view from the restaurant is the best thing. We had lunch at the same restaurant every day to enjoy the same view and eat delicious thai home cooked meals.

Rented snorkel equipment for 50 baht, which is about 1.5 eur (yes you read that right).

There’s a beach bar that serves food and drinks with sun beds available for free.

If I’m ever so lucky to be back to Koh Lipe, I will certainly stay here!! Best beach on the island, no long tail boats to overwhelm the view.
