Love the stay. Staffs pick us up once our boat reached the port. They send us umbrellas and carry our bags. The hotel is quite near to the port. They serve us welcoming drink once we reached the hotel. Under the scorching day, that is life saver drink. Spotless room. Tidy and neat. Umbrellas and torch in room. Extra towel from swimming in a hand carry for us. The view from the hotel is awosome, beautiful sea. The breakfast has variety of choices. My boy was sting by jelly fish, during snorkeling, back to hotel, the helpful front desk brought me a bowl of vinegar immediately. The AC working perfectly well with 24 hours. The pool access room is awesome. Jump in and chill.

Rooms are quieter, beds are so comfortable.

Best part was happy hours drinks with good view. Every night they decorate front part of resort and set up bbq station. You can choose what you want and cook and deliver to you.
They have same drinks menu for happy hours so it’s so much choice and cheaper.

Also breakfast buffet is best to start your day.

Twice I stay in this Hotel. 1st on Nov’2016 with my bestie; 2nd on Feb’24 with my family. It was same good and nice in both experiences. View front of hotel very very nice, 1st staying the beach front still not so suitable for hang out because many rock and stone, 2nd staying the beach was clean and suitable for kid playing, no need to go the others beach side. All staff very friendly no matter front reception or room service or even chef. We love the pool side front of restaurant. Breakfast many verities, because my children was not feeling well, I requested a bowl of porridge go back room, staff and chef was very helpful to arrange for me. Villa we stay have some electricity issue but staff settled it very quickly, and they apologized to us by complimentary with cocktail, very nice. Just walking distance to arrive Walking Street and Immigration. We definitely will come back again and highly recommended.

Our stay from January 17 to 20, 2024, was probably a bit rough from the very start but incredibly improved over time.

I bought the 4-day-3-night package with the sunset yacht cruise from Thai Teaw Thai Fair. Unfortunately, we got informed a few days before our stay that the cruise was cancelled because the yacht was out of order.

After a nearly 2-hour ferry ride, we finally arrived at the island. It was quite disappointing that we didn't see any staff from the resort welcoming us at the dock. I needed to call the hotel to find some help, which was eventually beautifully delivered.

We really appreciated that we got a complimentary room upgrade to Deluxe Pool Access, which is more spacious and, as the name suggests, connects right away to the swimming pool.

However, there was some water dropping from the air conditioner to the floor. They sent a team of handymen to troubleshoot, and it turned out to be because the temperature was set too low. As soon as one problem had been solved, another came up. There were a few small cockroaches in the bathroom. This time, they sent a team of housekeepers to deep clean. We asked for room changes, and they brought us to see the options for the lower room types since our room was the last of its kind. We preferred the original one, which was just deep-cleaned, so we made our final call to stay.

Basically, I'm definitely thankful for their best effort to deal with the problems. I love the problem-solving attitudes of their staff.

Like I told you upfront, the beginning was quite a tough uphill, but from now on, we're going to roll for our easy downhill.

The location of the resort was amazing—right on the beachfront with stunning views of the ocean and a powdery sandy beach where their restaurant is. The food served here was excellent, with a wide variety of Thai and Western dishes to choose from. We had steamed blue crabs and grilled cuttlefish with a seafood dip. They were perfectly cooked. And the price was surprisingly affordable.

My mom got a splinter in her finger somehow. And K. Malee was so thoughtful that she brought the first-aid kit to our dining table. Other staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well, always going the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, specifically K. Bam, K. Joy, and K. Anta.

There are 3 swimming pools at the resort, which is awesome as the main one could be crowded. Anyway, since the resort is located on a beautiful stretch of beach, just steps from the turquoise water, you can swim in the ocean area right in front of the hotel. They also offer some water activities, like kayaking and paddleboarding, for rent.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Akira Lipe Resort and would highly recommend it to others.

Great place, rooms are clean and tidy, restaurant caters for all tastes. The staff are great especially the beach/pool bar staff.

Absolutely perfect in every aspect. This was one of the most comfortable and relaxing stays I have ever had. The staff is always there to make sure you have a great stay.

Because the area where we booked our rooms was being renovated, we received a free upgrade. Our luggage was picked up at the beach and brought to our rooms. Any activity could be booked from the hotel reception and paid for at check out.

There is a massive pool just by the beach including a pool bar. Happy hour is also available here and there is live music in the evening.

This place is incredible, the service, the food and the pools are all amazing. If you ever go to Koh Lipe this is a place to visit, the only negative thing is the smell in the room wich isn't pleasent. If you look past that everything is fantastic.

The hotel is very well equipped, the pool is very nice, the kids especially like it, and the public kid's club is perfect for kids. The beach is also very beautiful, my kids are over 5 years old and they prefer the pool and kid club.
The first time I stayed at this hotel, I felt very satisfied, the children played so much that they refused to leave. The next day I went to a cliff hotel that was twice as expensive, but there was only a small beach and nothing else.
If you have kids with you, this hotel is absolutely perfect!

I didn’t staying here, but I love to visit here everyday when happy hour begins! I don’t know how much I spent, but I had fun. Mr. James is nice with us and all guests, he came and talk with guest everyday! I really impressed it! Wow, such a nice general manager! All staff and friendly and recognize me, they called me by name. I feel like a family! Food price is reasonable, they have food set too. You can get tables at beach if you come early, but you don’t want to come early. You can reserve with reservations.

I’ll go back again, love it 😍

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Koh Lipe, I would highly recommend Akira Lipe Resort!

The pictures I saw online, don’t do this place justice. As we arrived on the island, staff handed us umbrellas to keep shaded from the sun, they helped bring our bags off the boat and offered us a welcome drink.

The staff are so friendly and helpful! There are 3 pools to choose from and you have a beautiful beach view. The breakfast buffet is delicious and there is also a pool bar.

The hotel went above and beyond to celebrate our anniversary and my boyfriend’s birthday. They decorated our room twice in one day! What a nice surprise!

I must say about this hotel staff. I will definitely stay in this hotel for at least one night for my next stay. After enjoying the bar till late night 3 am. while I walk to the hotel alone near the beach. I found a few guys coming down from the boat at that time. At first, everything is okay. But I found they were also walking toward me. Everything is so good and safe on that island. People are so friendly and kind. It's just that night I felt a bit insecure having someone following me. It might just be me having such a feeling. In that dark. Maybe the house is toward the same route I don't know. My overthinking and my insecurity feel so worried. And I found this hotel near the beach and I get in there. I explain to the staff what happens and what I felt. I'm not their guest. But the night shift staff offer me calling a taxi. He is so kind and helpful. He open the main gate and let me out from the main road and almost walk with me halfway. I'm so blessed to get this staff help at that time and very thankful. I try to call the hotel again after reaching my hotel. Couldn't get thru. I can't recall his name. He is thin and tall guys so kind and helpful. Please Conway my heartfelt thanks to him. I will definitely buy something for him when I visit the island again. Thank you very much for the help. Hope I can speak to this guy and say thanks to him personally with the management help 🙏

This hotel is close to the immigration and the walking street, the location is perfect. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful and the sea water there is so clear especially in the morning.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The foods are quite good. We stayed in a villa was so nice. It’s worth the price. We should come to stay here again.

It's in the best beach. Rooms clean and big enough. They give you a bag with towels to take them for tours. The gym is basic but good. The breakfast is amazing. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed five wonderful nights at Akira. The property is right on Pattaya Beach, which is where all the boats arriving from other Thai islands come in, as well as the boats from Langkawi. A swim up pool bar welcomes you to the resort, the water was very inviting! All staff were incredibly courteous and kind (as you would expect in a Thai resort). We were informed prior to arrival that our originally booked room would not be available on our first night as there was an issue with the air conditioning unit. When we arrived they apologised for this, and put us in a slightly lower room category for the first night. For the issues we faced, we were offered a complimentary set menu dinner for one of the nights of our trip, which more than made up for it in my opinion. The room we eventually enjoyed for four nights was lovely. The room itself was really spacious, with a massive bed, plenty of storage space and a large and well equipped bathroom. Our taps were a bit leaky during our stay, their design is a bit strange, and we struggled to stop water from coming out of the fixtures. We did inform staff about this and they did come to fix it for us. The main draw of this room type though was the walk in pool, directly from our balcony. Amazing! The water was so incredible and being able to do this directly from your room was such a wonderful novelty, it never got old! Breakfast was great, with plenty of Asian and Western options. The swim up pool bar area played some excellent tunes during the day. They offer a happy hour on cocktails and spirits from 4-8pm which was great for watching the wallet a bit! Leaving Koh Lipe by boat is a little bit of an arduous process, which isn't any form of criticism of the hotel at all. They were kind to hurry us along with getting out of our room in time and offered us a free lift to the Bundhaya jetty (at the other end of Pattaya Beach) free of charge. Annoyingly, you have to get to the jetty no later than 60 minutes before your boat departs so we missed breakfast on the final day, so give yourself plenty of time to enjoy brekkie on the final day! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Would just like to say a massive massive thank you to Akira Resort Koh Lipe Thailand. We’ve just enjoyed a fantastic 5 night stay, top service from all members of staff and a lovely hotel. 100% would recommend!

We have moved onto phi phi now for me to only realise I left an expensive purse with medication, earrings and UK cash in the safe back in our room. They have been great from start to finish communicating with my phi phi hotel and I have just received my purse via speedboat from lipe to phi phi after 24 hours. So so grateful for all the help returning my purse back to me, with everything still in it, on an island 4 and half hours away! Honest and trustful people!!
