Wang Bua Ban Pha Ngoep

We had a very brief stop here on the way up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep by car. I wished I had planned in more time to just hang out there to watch the butterflies and just listen to the waterfalls. There are trails here to explore as well. There were some people just lying/sittinf on the large flat rocky surface enjoying the sun.

This is a nice place for a rest and be close to the nature.
The water fall is good, and the stream is also pretty lovely. You can hike around those huge rocks and it will be a very fun experience if you try to climb those rocks. It’s a little dangerous, but very fun INDEED.

Also really nice view to the city.

Amazing (and free!) waterfalls and swimming holes. A few minutes hike down rewards you with multiple places to jump into the water, slide and swim. As well as some beautiful nature trails through jungle terrain.

Nice small waterfall (or several small ones). Stream of water where you can get yourself refreshed. Some locals also swim there and use it as a waterslide. Beautiful surroundings and a view to the city centre. Be careful when walking the waterfall area, stones are very slippery.

The scenery is beautiful, you can dive, please pay attention to safety, especially anti-slip, and make sure your mobile phone is waterproof.

I went up to the cliffs . Bit dangerous if u don't know how to take the steps, especially when it's wet season. Be careful, I almost stayed up there forever 😂

Worth stopping by to just soak your feet in the clear and cold water

the best waterfall in the vicinity of Chiang Mai. beautiful spots to swim and dive in the water.
if you go early afternoon u will probably see a gang of very young (not even teenage) buddhist monks having all the fun in the world swimming there…

My favourite place in the city. This cute hidden waterfall - you just have a little stream and viewpoint of the city when you first enter from the parking lot, but keep walking in and climb down the rocks to find the 2 waterfall swimming pools! 🥰

It is a little bit of a steep climb down, but I have dodgy knees and I did it fine, just go slow :) Cutest hang out spot surrounded by sun and plants, deep enough to jump in from high up, lots of local kids come to play and it’s just such good vibes I come here every week!!

An absolutely beautiful place, hidden from the road. Come here in the sunshine, it is heaven. If you look down from the viewing area you'll see the waterfalls and rocks and stream leading down to still waters at the bottom. There are a few paths to get down there and the place is magical.

Amazing and big waterfall in which you can swim, located very close to the city. Lovely nature and nice views

So pretty and it links with the water fall trail coming up from the base of the mountain. Explore along the yellow path!

Natural waterfall. I went there in early February the water run dry so then we can chill and sit on the rock. Really good place for relaxation from busy life.

Very easy walk to the waterfall and a nice little getaway if you are willing to climb a little bit to get away from the beaten trail. Nice hideaway at the top - away from the world.
