Bangkok Bank (Siam T.V. branch)

I came to exchange Euro to Bhat on a Sunday. Passport, writing adress of hotel in Thai and telephone number was required. The exchange rate was better than outside (obviously). All in all it went smoothly, no waiting, and the staff was nice.

There is a western union here. The bank is inside the electronics store upstairs. Western union did I mention a western union?

Very kind staff, I want to acknowledge their helpfulness and willingness, because they can understand and solve an issue that other branches did not.

處理FCD外幣戶口服務，這間銀行分行的水平相對其他的算是不錯，職員態度都很積極。
This bank branch is relatively good in dealing with FCD foreign currency deposit account. Staff attitude is quite proactive.

ธนาคารในศูนย์การค้า มีลูกค้าไม่มาก ไม่แออัด และบริการลูกค้าได้รวดเร็วดีครับ

とても親切に対応していただけます。他の支店に比べて空いているようです。

Most competent BBL branch I know in Chiangmai. Banks in Thailand are slow complicated and uptight, so don't expect miracles. Very polite and helpful employees.

You can’t open a bank account here as a foreigner. Staff referred me to the branch further down the road at 2 Chong Lor.

It may be good for other services, but when I come here for retrieving money from my foreign accounts, it is painfully slow.
