Oriental Siam Resort Chiang Mai

I had a wonderful 6 days in this juwel of a hotel. I booked direct and got a fair deal. I made 3 day trips all arranged from the hotel and everything worked well. The a la carte breakfast is delicious served from the most charming and always smiling staff. I also had dinner in the restaurant and food was very fine at fair prices.
My room was huge. Bedroom with large and comfortable double bed. Dressing room with powder table, mini bar and safe. Large bathroom with shower and bathtub. Room was very clean and kept clean during my stay.
The rooms are situated in small buildings in a lush tropical garden with lots of birds and butterflies. Simply wonderful.
The owner and all staff took so good care of me and i enjoyed every second here. The hotel is only a short drive away from the city centre. A Grab taxi was 140 baht.
When I come back to Chiang Mai, this is the only place I want to stay.

i have just spent 5 nights in the Oriental Siam.

what a great experience we had, since the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly by koby and the team and Nat made sure to make us feel at ease and to explain everything we needed.

the place is beautifull with a lot of nature and very calm, which is always nice after a day in the busy city. they have a big garden and two nice pools.

it is located just outside chiang mai ,but very easy to reach by taxi or grab and we loved that it was not in the city.

food was amazing and always fresh and what we loved the most was how caring Nat and her team was. They always go the length to make you feel great and enjoy. they made special dishes for our daughter that were always delicious and you can feel they do it with heart.

this place really gives a relaxed and family feeling.

The girls working at the restaurant/reception were really kind , smiling and so nice with us and particularly with our child.

we really felt great and taken care of during these 6 days.

to add to that the room was spacious and nicely decorated.

we really hope to come back the next time we come to thailand, because we loved all about the place !

My family stayed here for 4 nights during September month. We have the best experience, the best vibe and super friendly staff. I really love their garden, it made you feel so relax. The pool was a hit for our children too.
We stayed in the big wooden Thai house which was incredible spacious and always kept clean by their staff. We always come back to a bed made twice a day.
The staff are incredible here, they made you feel so welcome and family feel.
I would recommend anyone to book here, it's location is close to a lot of places our family visited in Chiang Mai. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, a nice resort for those who want to relax on your life break from busy work.

Breakfast is not much of a choice there is a menu for select, no ham or sausage only croissants, eggs (can select fried egg or omelet), or noodles. There are waffles or pancakes for kids to select for breakfast.

Great resort, we’ve had a perfect stay. I loved the service and attendance as it made us feel unique and comfortable during our stay. The area feels intimate and romantic. Transport is easy and only takes 15-20 minutes to the city and outside activities. There’s street food nearby and the mini supermarket within walking distance. Food at the resort is delicious. Thank you for your great care. We will definitely be back for our next trip ❤

A pearl in Chiang Mai. We has been there in Mai 2023 withh our two year old babygirl. It's a family owned lovely resort in Chiang Mai with a beautiful garden and very nice accomodation facilities and swimming pools. The owners and the staff are very kind and helpful. The breakfast, as well as every meal from the menu are fresh prepared in their own kitchen and it was very delicious every time. Only 10 minutes away from the city center nevertheless very quiet location. Ideal to visit the city and make trips to the surrounding countryside. The perfect place to relax. A dinner at the evening with a sip of red wine at the restaurant by the small pond will be unforgettable. We can warmly recommend the Siam Oriental Resort.

A beautiful place that was just heavenly reprieve from the city! Please be aware that it’s 15 min from city centre by car. This makes this place a nice escape from the city. I loved the way the designed the place and loved the design of the room. The hospitality is amazing (we stayed I. The jasmine suite).

Absolutely fabulous place! Very romantic and quiet. A little paradise with a beautiful lotus pond, little waterfall, nice swimming pool! Beautiful romantic villas. Owners Nat, Pongsri and Peter are very warm and dedicated hosts. Small boutique resort, therefore very personal service! Don't miss it when you are looking for a very special place in Chiang Mai!

We stayed here 3 nights with 2 small kids. The place is absolutely fantastic. A beautiful garden with a restaurant, fish pond, play ground and 2 pools. Accomodation is good, clean and spacious. Best of all is the personnel who are really making you feel at home the moment you enter the place. Special thanks to Kobby for dropping us at the airport!

What stands out here is the service. The staff is there to attend to you whenever you need and they take the initiative to ask if they can help. For instance, we bought street food back one night and as we were carrying it in the staff asked if they could unpack it from the foam clamshells, plate it for us, and bring it to our porch for us to relax and eat. Upon arrival they opened the trunk of the car and unloaded our bags straight to our doors. They times the refreshing of our rooms while we were out to lunch instead of while we were in need of them. The owners speak perfect English and spent just a little time getting to know us.
Many Thai “resorts” are not really resorts by western thinking, but this one surely is! With a separate play pool for small kids, restaurant/bar, cabana and extra towels by the pool, sitting areas in nature, beautiful room decor, ice cold A/C, and personalized service from the parking lot to your room. Even the large in-room towels had an appropriate laundered scent and were plentiful.
The pool is the cleanest brightest I have seen in Chang Mai, perfect for a night swim, and the decking looked new as well. Even though the location is right in the city they have landscaped to make you feel secluded. We didn’t hear any planes fly by or typical car traffic.
Finally, it is located nearly walking distance to Promanada Mall which has a movie theater, Dukes and Ragu (American owned) restaurants, live music, and great shopping.
The parking isn’t great, our kids rooms were not adjoining and we did see a few ants in the bathroom but this place is a gem tucked back into a quaint Thai neighborhood. We will be back and highly recommend this for a weekend getaway or a destination location while planning your northern Thai vacation.

The service here is impeccable. The staff know who you are and when you are out will get your room ready for when you get back from a busy day out. Everything is included and nothing is too much for the staff. It is a family owned and run resort. In a very quiet location about 20 minutes to Chiang Mai city centre (take an Uber it's really cheap). Would recommend Oriental Siam Resort to anyone wanting a romantic upscale stay in Chiang Mai.

Wish we stayed longer. This cozy resort located outside of Chiang Mai about 15 minutes offers beautiful flowers, lush vegetation and excellent service. This was a highlight of our trip to Thailand - Their attention to detail and pleasant staff made dining and relaxing a perfect holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any traveler near or far in the Chain Mai area.

We had an amazing stay here, we arrived late at night and all staff were out to meet us to take bags to room. The next day we were leaving early for the day so they organised an earlier breakfast for us (breakfast is beautiful there). We had some booking problems with airline which they very kindly sorted for us calling the airline on our behalf. The property is beautiful & peacefull & the staff go out of their way to help you (very good english). This was one of best stays in Thailand ! Nothing is a problem at this resort, would definitely go back again!

Unbelievable! Beautiful, quiet resort. Tranquil, good food. Children friendly...playground and small pools. Hostesses were so accommodating for my birthday party! ! Beds were comfortable. Everything very clean. Food and service were great. Fresh flowers and tropical grounds.

Stayed for four nights, perfect place, very calm, delicious cousine, friendly and welcoming staff. Five stars without hesitation, definitelly recommend!!

Villa type hotel in Chiang Mai. Very quiet. Enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee. The staff is very friendly. There is no convenience store nearby.
