Horizon Village & Resort

Beautiful resort with top service. We've stayed twice because it was so much fun for kids. Internet is the best, there's huge botanical gardens, top tier rooms have their own pools to share, movie night for kids, great breakfast buffet, everything is nice.

I didn't stay here, but a family member did and I went to visit there. What a beautiful place!! Totally love the botanical gardens, the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, but still with an old world feel in the decor. Love all the wood in the buildings and the little knick knacks everywhere, like an old horse drawn buggy. The place is full of fantastic photo settings. The food was delicious (my family member was at a conference there, so the resort catered for that). And the service was amazing. Even after booking out, my family member had to wait for me to pick them up and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Gave them a place to wait indoors and even brought fruit and water for refreshment while they waited. From what I could gather, they are quite pricey, but for what you're getting, I would say it's definitely worth it. If you have the budget, I definitely recommend it.

Really really loved our stay at Horizon!
The minute we pulled into the resort we felt at peace. So much space, so much to see, so much to do. We loved stepping outside of our room and being able to go on long walks or bikerides, kids loved the playgrounds and animals. We loved the three swimming pools, particularly the two with a slide.
First three night we spent in a deluxe room I think, which was spacious and great. Then we moved to a standard room which was also very nice, but a bit smaller.
Breakfast was good, lots of options.
Staff always very friendly.
Only downside is that we think the food at the restaurant is just about average. Not bad, but also not very good.
But there are a bunch of excellent restaurants within a 10 minute drive (Bucoliq, Chill House, Locanda…) or you can order Grab.
City of Chiang Mai is about a 15 minute drive away, easy drive, just staright down the road.
It was the perfect retreat for us, we never were bored and the kids LOVED it.

Arrived after my stay was planned by my organization but from the moment I entered the premises I was treated like royalty by a very responsive and gracious staff, always eager to serve us and expecting nothing in return. (I could not help but tip them very generously because I am unused to this level of service anywhere I've been, including USA).
Don't know where one could get such excellent service, good food. very clean and beuautiful accommodation for the low price we paid.
The gardens, foliage, shrubbery and grass alone are stunning to the average traveller. I have never seem any place so well cared for.
I am anxious to return to Horizon Resort and recommend it unreservedly.

So happy to be here on my vacation with my family. There’re lot of activities for kids and family to do. Big playground and swimming pools. Friendly and helpful staffs. The room is really nice and clean!

This is a beautiful resort far outside of Chiang Mai. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat and plan to mostly eat at your resort, this place is for you. The botanical gardens and mini zoo are fun to explore. The swimming pools are excellent, and overall there is plenty to do right on site for a few days. It's not too difficult to get back into the city, but you wouldn't want to make the trip for just a meal.

This place is perfect to adventure and relax. There are multiple pools on site with one having a slide. There is a huge garden area to check out with a shuttle bus that will go around the park. The petting zoo wasn't open when I went but you could still see the animals similar to a zoo. The bed was stiff but overall great place for vacation and not far from downtown Chiang Mai.

Great place with several different swimming pools. If you plan to go to town frequently it is a bit far out, but offers a free shuttle ride into town. Beautiful walks in the botanical garden each day, as it is well maintained.

I come back here 2nd times and it's a Great service and atmosphere, Cleaned room, Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

Nice facility and amazing service. My taxi driver got lost and one of the staffs offered to go rescue the taxi. Highly recommended.

This is a very good place to spend your vacation or to have seminars or conferences for gathering of 300-400 people.Even they accommodate small groups to big groups. You can visit this Botanical garden and Swimming pool.I enjoyed this place to participate in a conference. In Chiang Mai city this is very peaceful and good healthy Thai and continental food you can enjoy

Very nice hotel, resort , zoo and conference center. Nice swimming pool, beautifully manicured grounds with old museum buildings from teak and displays of weaving etc.

Highly recommended for a visit. A good place for large events. Coffee shop here too. It's located 18km east of the Chiang Mai center on highway 118.

Love the tranquility and beauty in this hotel area. Hotel area is really huge which comprises of botantical garden and zoo, which is easy to breeze walk.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful, they are willing to arrange for club car to transport u to the place you like to go within the hotel.

Hotel room is designed with pretty modern vibes. There is a minimart located at hotel main lobby which you can get necceities, local Thai cup noodles and Thai batik pants.

Recommnded to stay in this hotel if you come to Chiangmai.

Horizon is not a common hotel. It's an experience by itself in Thailand. Botanical Garden, a small zoo, kids playgrounds. Trails to walk. I really enjoy my week kere

Overall it is a very nice resort. You can really relax with your family there. It is very far from the city which is no problem if you have a car. Don't forget anti mosquito spray!

Very warm environment and friendly staff who are willing to help at any time. The facilities are very good. Walking around the premises was a big experience for me. I just love the Horizon Village & Resort.

Our group experienced a wonderful time. Beautiful gardens surround you as you're enjoying very helpful, friendly, and professional resort staff. Everyday was a treat for the senses. Food is great. Accommodations are comfortable, clean, and pretty. The resort is also conveniently located so that there are many sightseeing options to temples, elephant sanctuaries, and the night market. The hotel can help with those options as well. If there is an opportunity to return, we will!

The location is quite far from downtown. Most of the time no grab/bolt will pick up our order unless you are lucky. Drive your own car is the best option.
