Very quiet, very calm, very peaceful, very zen. That's food for the soul. Then there is the food for gut.. spicy, tangy, peppery.. it is a treat for your taste buds. Of course, comes at a premium but that's what a 5 star experience calls for.

Have a great experience in Michelin guided (2020-2022) restaurant, here in Hangdong.

Note: this review is only for the restaurant (not for the hotel). We came here for lunch from Chiang Mai city (about an hour's drive) and the place took our breath away. The view of nature is stunning and decoration is impressive. As equally important, the food tastes amazing (Michelin guide). We ordered Northern dishes, e.g. kao soy (curry noodle >> highly recommend this), larb kuoa (minced pork with local herbs) as well as Thai food favorites from other regions, e.g. pla duk pad prik king (catfish with ginger chilli paste), Southern Thai yellow soup with fish. We really enjoyed our few hours here. Booking is recommended during wkend and peak season (Dec)

The rooms at this place were incredible. Large beds, high ceilings, beautiful views you can see from sitting in the enormous bath. Elegant fixtures and decor. The breakfast provided was generous and they had a wide selection of foods. This place is positioned not too far from the city but far enough that you can enjoy the peaceful countryside. The staff and service were very hospitable. Definitely one of the best choices in Chiang Mai.

Just a hour drive from city you can enjoy larger room (recommend room 11 or12) with mountain & greenery view. The main restaurant is lovely with small panoramic swimming pool where you can get good breakfast & dinner. The decoration inside the room is good but with European style. Service is good & staffs can speak English.

This place is definitely a hidden gemstone of Chiang Mai. Either staying here or just dining here, it is a very pleasant experience. The room is nicely decorated and well maintained. View from the balcony of main building is picturesque. Foods at dining room taste delicious. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. In general, this place is world class!!!

Nice and cozy place for your relaxing time! I went there only for a meal but truly enjoyed both food and atmosphere. Food is sooooo good. They are authentic Thai(and not too spicy for foreigner) Price is reasonable because of beautiful scenery. If you need to rest in somewhere peaceful, do not miss here.

Great restaurant with wonderful dishes and relaxing ambient.

Luxury resort that is worth your money. Super nice service, the staffs are friendly (both human and dog). They've just got in the michelin giude 2020 so dining here is a good option. The room is large, quite clean, and comfort. The room with balcony has the romantic sunset scenery. I will absolutely come back again.

Great restaurant with a fantastic view. We came here 2 days in a row because the food was so good. Prices also very reasonable . We come again. You should definitely try it.

Amazing resort only opened 3 months ago as of this review. Friendly staff with western-friendly Thai cuisine, or American style breakfast. Villa sleeps 2 or 4, or more and affordable with large groups. Beautiful view. Thank you Ben and Ura.

I've never given 5 stars-rating to any hotel but Chantra Khiri is a work of art. We modified our Thailand plans and kept extending the stay as it was so difficult to break the spell of this place and leave. Stylish, obsesively attended to the tiniest of detail space at the edge of forest. Great restaurant, great coffee. I only would wish more options for vegetarians. We stayed in the Chantra Khiri suite - superb experience. And last but not least - AMAZING, VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF.

I stayed here for 2 nights. View is awesome but too few facilities. Food is tasty.
