Wow Wow Wow! Easily the best meal I've ever had in Thailand. And the service was IMPECCABLE. I'm a long-time front-of-house girl myself and I was blown away. The tapas were lovely as well and I had a gorgeous cocktail. My first night back in CM was magical thanks to Piccolo. Thank you. (Oh and I love the west coast heavy beer list!)

Fantastic little wine bar with what must be the best wine list in the country, the live music I saw here was a superb acoustic duo which just added to the atmosphere. Was a little quiet when I went but I still enjoyed myself, the fig and goats cheese salad was very tasty as well and bar snacks they provided were super tasty.

Fantastic atmosphere coupled with the most amazing food I have eating in Chiang Mai. Props to the Chef for bringing the heat! Incredible live music on the weekends, fantastic drink selection as well as non alcoholic cocktails. Overall great place to be any night of the week!!

The best place to drink wine and some food. The owner is Spanish. Cant believe I could have real Spanish tapas and nice wine in Chiangmai! Thanks for the welcome tapas before having main dish ❤

Nice lovely cozy and stunning live music. The tapas menu was so creative. There are wine celler inside that you can pick the wine from all over the world. Famous napa valley wine or Malbec from argentina or Nz sauvignon blanc. I really have a good time there

We love going here for a glass of wine or fantastic cocktails which they do so well ( my favourite being the Espresso Martini)--perfectly executed by a very knowledgeable barman. The atmosphere is homely, cozy , comfortable & a great place to meet like-minded people from all over the World. The Tapas menu is sensational, beautifully presented by fabulous staff & prepared by the wonderful Chef Jesus & his team. They also have live music with visiting musicians which is so refreshing! I recommend that you come early for cocktails at Piccolo before dining at David's Kitchen which is a gorgeous restaurant suitable for friends, family, couples & even solo ! The wine selection is impressive as is the beer selection. A great place to hang out in which reminds us of home!! Everything from the food, wine & service is top notch & we are always well looked after on our visits here. Give it a try as we know no-one that has ever been disappointed when visiting this wonderful establishment!!

This is a uniquely special wine and tapas bar. The tapas are absolutely delicious, prepared to perfection by their master chef from Spain. Extensive wine list nothing short of impressive. Exceptionally friendly staff make you feel like part of the Piccolo family. Romantic, intimate candlelight ambience. Great acoustic live music featuring popular songs. You don't want to miss this wonderful bistro. Truly a unique and special Chiang Mai experience.

As a member of the hospitality industry I have to say wow. Enticed by reviews and looking to mix up our delicious Chiang Mai food scene experience Piccolo did not disappoint. From the second we pulled into the car park we were blown away. From the ambience, to the service, to the food itself, happy hour deals everything was lovely. Not long after we took our seat the owner David himself greeted us and made sure we were taken care of. After finding out we ourselves had been to Spain and were big tapas fans the mastermind chef himself, Jesus came out to chat about the food and a little more about his experience as a Spanish chef in Thailand along with some killer recommendations. What followed was course after course of pure heaven. Thanks piccolo for giving my friends and I a culinary memory we can look back on for years to come. :)

Piccolo is a very special place in Chiang Mai, I don't think there is anything quite like it! It is relaxed yet ultra classy. A place with exceptional quality in all departments yet surprisingly affordable. Piccolo has become my favourite place to relax with friends after a busy week of work in Chiang Mai. Great music, satisfying tapas - with generous portions - and FINALLY somewhere in town that knows how to make a decent cocktail! Piccolo is also an awesome date location..... highly recommended!

Absolutely blown away by our meal here last Sunday December 16, 2018. I've never been a fan of Spanish cuisine, preferring French and Japanese. However Piccolo is right up there with the very best restaurants in my long history of seeking out the best food and wine in the world.
Once Michelin includes Chiang Mai in its list of cities, Piccolo will be deservedly awarded at least one star.
Chef Jesus is a true artist. Creative and sensitive. He made us some unique dishes as we only eat Organic food, and foods that we know how they were grown and raised. No mystery food for us. Maybe our favorite was the prawns in garlic broth, however all the dishes has a WOW factor as had the paired wines. Pure genius.
This is a true hidden gem and a sister restaurant to the renowned " David'd Kitchen", which shares the same beautiful setting. David Gorgon his wife and their partner chef own both. Their dedication to creating a memorable and delightful dining experience is evident in both restaurants.

Wonderful spot for delicious small plates, wine and cocktails. Live music on weekends is very nice as well.

A great addition to the local Chiang Mai food scene. Opened for less than a year and it’s already garnering so many incredible reviews. So I had to try it out recently and have to say that the hype is real. The food is delicious and more importantly, the setup of the place and ambience completely seals the deal as THE place to go for a great relaxing night out, whether alone, as a couple or with a few friends.

It’s one of those rare places where everything comes together (food, ambience, interior and exterior decor, suitable music, and did I mention food(!)). The exciting thing is Chef Jesus(!) is Spanish and trained in Mediterranean cuisine and deeply passionate about his craft. So, there’s the menu, and then there are also stuff that he’s coming up with on special occasions and even after many years of being a chef, he is still excited about coming up with nuanced newer dishes and perfecting old favorites. If you’re in Chiang Mai, don’t miss the opportunity to savor the experience of this terrific place!

Excellent restaurant - superb Paella, tapas, delicious wines and wonderful authentic Spanish music. We have just held a private party there for 35 guests. The team bent over backwards to ensure our evening was a memorable one. I cannot recommend highly enough - either for an intimate dinner for two or like us, for a party for friends and family. 5 stars without a doubt.

Excellent place to unwind in Chiang Mai with well made cocktails and tasty tapas. We enjoyed the generous happy hour on the spacious patio, but could have also gone into the cozy bar area. Friendly and attentive staff, will hope to be back at last once before I leave town.

My experience at Piccolo the other night was superb! Chef Jesus is a very talented and innovative chef. His creations and combinations were delightful and delicious, a real treat to the senses. My partner and I found the whole experience way beyond our expectations. David Gordon the owner, is charming and can't seem to do enough to please his customers. All the staff were equally gracious and attentive. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant - amazing food and wines in a relaxing atmosphere. Authentic Spanish music is a perfect back drop for a special evening in Chiang Mai. Ideal for an intimate evening for two, a group of friends or for a celebration event with a larger group. Highly recommended.

My friends and I had the most incredible evening here to celebrate my 40th birthday. The food is delicious (the chef is very talented), the service was incredible (at the restaurant as well as prior to the evening) and the ambience was fabulous (great music, wine, setting). 100% recommend Piccolo Wine & Tapas!

One of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had! We loved the unique, flavorful, and authentic tapas at Piccolo, prepared perfectly by chef Jesus. Don’t miss the fig,
ham and goat cheese salad. The calamari was also divine. There’s something (probably many things) for everyone on the menu. We were very well cared for — we’ll definitely be back!
