I love all their dishes but my favorite was the glass noodles and the snail curry. I highly recommend the indoor seating area as the flies in the outdoor area were really annoying and affected our dining experience. The indoor area was full when we arrived so it's better to make reservations first.

One of the better Michelin restaurants I’ve been in chiang mai. It’s a bit far from the city and the food presentation is not as nice, but I like the taste. It’s worth a visit.

Their pan fried dishes have the “wok hey” taste. They have good cooking equipment at a high temperature that is hard to make this taste at home. Not all the restaurants can do that.

Baan Suan consistently serves up a good Thai meal year after year. Enjoying more popularity (and tour vans 😕) since a michelin bib gourmand award, the service is a bit slower than in the past, but the taste remains the same.
Makes for a nice breezy lunch, or a romantic dinner next to the water.

I love this place, lovely locale, friendly staff and the food is delicious, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Try the Catfish salad or the stuffed squid! They also have veggie and vegan options. Closes early though!

Great food, great atmosphere with reasonable price. This restaurant is surrounded by trees and they also has a huge pond. Try แกงคั่วหอยขม you will definitely love it.

A gem of a restaurant located outside the city centre. Set in a natural setting afforded to Chiangmai and most pleasant during winter months when the weather is cooler and great for al fresco dining even during lunch. Excellent Thai food prepared and served here next to a big pond where fishes swim up right to your hands (great for the kids). Worth visiting.

Home style cooking. Very generous portion. Highly recommend the steamed red tilapia with spicy sauce and soft shell crab. Average 250 bah per person for an elaborate meal.
