Best food market in Chanthaburi, I always go very early around 5:30-6:00 am or so to get the best products possible. This place has everything: fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, seafood and local fare. I love fresh soy milk infused with herbs, sticky rice with coconut, banana or sweet beans wrapped with banana leaves and slowly grilled and many more. Place opened every day in mornings and you must go there while in Chanthaburi.

This is the old popular and favorite market, is located in Tambon ( sub district ), Amphoe ( district ) Mueang , Chang Wat ( province ) Chantaburi 22000. Established as market very long time ago that involve Chantaburi people’ daily life , fountain circle stand in front of the market like the symbol that visitors no matter buyer, sellers or site seeing observe easily. Three entrances access this market, fountain circle and police fort are drive way and the Tarad Sui walk way. On the front side behind the fountain circle, dried and processing seafood are available, next to inside is flower shop. Clothes and apparel are inside. Surrounded this market are school uniform, clothes , shoes, household items souvenirs etc. , commercial building are coffee shop, restaurants, small department store. Tarad Sui access, Chan noodles ( famous noodles originated from this province ), fresh seafood, appliances, electrical appliances , bauble and household item are available for sale here. Highlight is after 06:00 p.m. that will blow your mind with all kinds of food like noodle, glutinous rice, fried, grill and toast foods, chicken rice, pork and crispy pork rice, fried sea fishes in stick and so many more. Buyers can find all kinds of fruits here such as rose apple, oranges, lychee and so on, so many street foods as mentioned all shops will be on the road side around the market building, may be 300 meters long.
