Beautiful white and blue themed temple. Build with ceramic to prevent corrosion from the sodium within the atmosphere as this location is near the coast. Visit if possible and be awed by the effort of the architect.

I love this blue temple for its amazing spectacular blue and white ceramic tiles! You can take so many beautiful pictures there! And it’s located on the seaside, you can feel the sea breeze when sitting there. It’s really worth you spend time looking around! Highly recommend!

This famous blue chapel temple is pretty nice. You need to see its detail of tiles closely. The temple is open all the time for people to donate for fixing all the broken parts.
Inside the chapel is under renovation but people stil enter to give the respect to the very nice buddha statue.
Parking are available around the temple.

The Pak Nam Khaem Nu or known as the Blue temple of Chanthaburi is located in Amphoe Tha Mai, Chanthaburi. It’s has a spectacular view with gothic supporting pillars and artistic intricate Thai art. The temple exterior is literally covered with blue tiles like the famous Portoghese glazed blue ceramic tiles “azulejos”. The interior walls represent stories of Buddha and at the central altar sits a large Buddha statue. Worshippers comes to offer prayers and make merit. At the entrance on the left hand sits a large gong and two large snakes statues “Naga” with several heads leading the main staircase. The temple is a work of beautiful Thai traditional art, artisans creativity and presents a lore of Buddhism philosophy and spirituality. The surrounding fishing village offer great food around the beach side and many scenic view points along the coast such as Chao Lao Beach, Laem Sing and other various points. A peaceful tranquil place away from the other touristic crowded zones. A place worth visiting and enjoying a peaceful drive.

A very beautiful and well maintained temple with a historical story about why it’s adorned with blue and white ceramic tiles. It’s to stop erosion from the harsh sea air. A lovely place to visit

It was mesmerizing. The details of the temple are intricate. It’s not always you find a blue temple with not too many crowd.
Going around will be good if you’re looking for Instagram-worthy areas. But if you opt for a serious visit, you can pray inside and it will not have too many people with you.

Absolutely loved this temple , so unusual and amazing place to walk around and photograph.
The temple has almost a porcelain /wedgewood look to it because of the blue and white painting. Nice all round!!
Not well known by many tourists but a lot of locals visit.
Plenty of parking

A majestic temple to behold;beautiful ,solemn, quiet and people are observing the norms well. Visitors need to leave their shoes before they can go up to see what the temple can offer.
There is also a market downstairs that you can find food and dry goods as souvenirs for your trip.
A nice spot to visit once you're in Chantaburi.

Ceramic blue temple house. Ceramic comes from the north, think Lampang. Impressive design and different from others. Free for all and beside the sea. Definitely worth a visit.

Very impressive Buddha temple. Not as big as some but worth seeing. The interior is still a bit unfinished but should be completed very soon. As with all Buddha temples, the locals are outside selling all they can.

Great place to stop by for photos. Parking is available and quite convenient. There is a shop selling preserved durian which is good and fresh (if you finish visiting the chapel, the shop is at your 1 o'clock from the stairs).

Wonderful blue and whited coloured temple — one of the many things that Chanthaburi could offer, don’t miss this temple while traveling or exploring the province.
