Short but sometimes steep hike up to the pond. Wear proper shoes. Picnic and relaxing. Take a tuk-tuk or a red taxi-bus to the entrance. Or walk past the university and Zoo. Free entrance. Hike up and down plus a break at the top is 1 hour total.

I started my trek from the Pha Ngoep trail. Considering the heat and humidity early in the morning, it was quiet difficult getting to this waterfall! Once I finally made it, I realized there was actually a route off the other end that led straight into the waterfall off the main road. Regardless, a beautiful site and well worth the hike.

Spectacular!! Free entry and parking. There is signage around the area leading to the waterfall. Easy enough access to the waterfall though not wheelchair or stroller accessible past a certain point. For a while we had the whole place to ourselves which was magical. Good flow of water today (august 10), I imagine it’s best to visit during rainy season with the most flow.

You can climb up rocks to get closer to the waterfall but be very careful! The rocks are slippery, especially when wet.

Quiet and few people around besides locals having picnics and a tourist every now and then. A must visit while in chiang mai considering how easy it is to get here!

We were able to take a grab there and a grab back. No issues finding a grab from the main road outside the waterfall other than a short wait for them to get there.

This is a small waterfall with no entrance fee. There's a small stream and a few rocks so its perfect for little kids. We went on a weekday so there was no other tourist at all. Don't need to walk too much at all to get to spot. 30 minutes from town so we rented a car there before going to other attractions. there's a picnic mat that can be rented at the entrance but we missed the sign. There's a paid toilet to wash up and change. Parking is limited but still was available for us.

Peaceful atmosphere, simple hike to the top but I’m sure there’s more paths to go higher. Quiet and serene.

If you are in Chiang Mai and looking for a place to chill this is it. Locals use to (and still do) come here as a place to relax by the water.

Parking can be found very nearby and entry to the waterfall is free. As well as exploring around the lower tier of the waterfall you can also trek further up although this is demanding and safety should be a priority.

Quick hike between Doi Inthanon National Park and the city. The waterfall is directly by the entrance, but semi-paved trails will take you to the top of the cliff for great city views. It seemed like all the locals were picnicking at various parts of the trails, and some cool snacks would have made the afternoon better.

This is my second time coming to this waterfall and I absolutely loved it! There were quit a few people here enjoying the water and the scenery. There is a trail to follow that will take you around the area. I'd definitely wear secure shoes as the path is rocky and is kind of like a hiking trail. Some parts are slippery so be careful! There is parking right at the entrance and a ton of stalls if you get hungry or want to buy something.

Lovely spot for a quick swim or waterfall without a big trek. The falls are just off the road with easy parking and can either get straight onto the lower falls to relax or spend a while trekking to the cliffs
