Away from the main city area. Fantastic ambience and it feels like you are transported to a different location. Rooms are well set up. We had the pool access. Lobby could use some updating though.. Not a good first impression. But the rest of the resort is top notch

One of a kind. Peaceful and nice open air atmosphere in the middle of the city. Spa is truly first class.

An amazing stay at Khum Phaya Resort. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful ensuring my stay was fully enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was a fantastic way to start the morning. A lot of variety include a cook to order egg station and fresh fruit. The swimming pool exists in the full length of all the rooms. Water is cool and refreshing underneath the tropical trees with a pool bar. Dinner at the restaurant was always good with a happy hour each night.

The Spa was the best. Fai at the spa ensured each treatment was catered to me. Highly recommend the scrubs, facial, steam room and aromatherapy massage.

It is a little out of the city but I found this perfect. It is close to Central Festival Mall which has everything you need including a nice wine bar restaurant and amazing food courts.

Paradise! The rooms, grounds, pool were all beautiful. You do not realise you are in suburbia. The wait staff were fantastic. Not a great location but shopping and markets not a big wallf. Easy enough to get around via taxi.
Only downfall is the musak needs to be changed occasionally.

Beautiful quiet resort in Chiang Mai. This was one of my favorite places to stay while visiting Thailand. Room was extremely traditional. If you’re looking for a luxurious modern mainstream resort, this is not that. This has a beautiful Northern Thai feel. We did not get the opportunity to enjoy the pool although we had a swim out villa. Pool was clean. Service was great. The restaurant on site was nice! We had baked goods, coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages! Extremely quiet and quaint. Love this experience. Wish we would have stayed longer.

We were at a hotel without a pool and came here to relax on a Sunday afternoon. It was exquisite! For a fee we could use the beautiful expansive pool and a towel and appetizer was included.

We happened by this wonderful Cafe that is attached to a hotel. The vibe is relaxing and peaceful.

We had rooms near the pool! Very pretty and neat. The resort is about 20 mins away from CHIANG MAI centre. The resort offers taxi, but Grab is easier and cheaper.
Good food!

Feels like staying in an enchanted village. The resort lost a bit of its former glory but it is charming nevertheless. Pool access from the room and the spa shower were the highlight for my 8 year old. For me the bed was pure heaven.

What an amazingly beautiful resort. I wish they had one in every city. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
The day spa was perfect. The ladies were very professional. They offer a huge range of services to suit every budget and need.
The buffet breakfast was one of the best I had ever seen. They had literally everything you could think of. They also had a swim up bar. You could literally swim straight from your room to get a cocktail! Writing this review just makes me want to go back! Amazing. Beautiful and worth every cent.

Loved this hotel. Beautifully grounds and pool. We stayed in a room with direct pool access which was amazing!
The buffet for breakfast was excellent and the staff are incredibly attentive.
There is a free shuttle bus into the city.
The spa was beautiful with so many treatments to choose from. We stayed for 2 nights before a week in a different location and then came back here before flying home as we liked it so much. Would definitely come back again!

This is a truly spectacular resort. I would give it six stars if I could!

It is the embodiment of Lanna culture and architecture and it would be a sin not to stay in a hotel/resort that offers this when visiting Northern Thailand.

Gardens and facilities are immaculate, the pool is spectacular, super calming and relaxing.

The spa is extremely professional, and you might need an afternoon nap after treatment!

Breakfast is served in a restaurant on site that is also accessible for private visitors.

The rooms are large, with a perfect bathroom. We had a poolside room, so the back doors opens up on a little porch from which the pool can be accessed.

I did notice that the pool bar wasn't open, and that the cocktails came from the restaurant. That in itself isn't a problem, I was just curious when it will be open.

This hotel is not located in the Old Town, so it's not walking distance fron that area. I am not taking a star away on Location for that, because this is a resort where you come to relax.

It is however within walking distance of quite a number of very local bars and restaurants, where we had pleasant and positive interactions with the locals.

My wife and I have just stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed every bit. The grounds are beautiful and looked after every day, all staff were very friendly and happy. We had breakfast included which tasted good and had a decent range. We caught the free shuttle bus at 2pm most afternoons and the driver was fantastic, gave us lots of local information and because we were by ourselves on most runs he would take us all the way into the old city. We would not hesitate to book again.

This is a beautiful and tranquil hotel. The check-in/reception area felt very exotic.
The rooms were very comfortable with all overlooking the pool which runs the length of the hotel.
We travelled as a family occupying 2 rooms. The hotel gave us adjoining rooms and were able to open the door between them which was ideal.
The hotel is on the north Eastern edge of Chiang Mai. The hotel does provide a free shuttle to the town 3 times a day. Taxis and transfers can be booked through reception at other times but this usually costs 200 to 300 baht depending on the location.
The breakfast was good with a good range of items.
The staff were very friendly. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.

Very Good Hotel with Myanmar Architrcture Taste in Thailand. The lobby design is copied from Mandalay Palace. The pool is very nice.

The landscaping was immaculate. Very relaxing and beautiful walkways. Pool was so neat and unique and poolside rooms were a cool feature. We stayed here in middle of January and it wasn't quite warm enough yet to enjoy a swim but laid out on the "island" in the center of the pool. Rooms were beautiful. Was bummed the drain didnt work in the tub (there was no way to plug it so no bubble baths ensued) shower was really nice though. Concierge was very pleasant and helpful.

The service could not be faulted.
The room was immaculate & well made up.
The grounds are amazing & very well kept.
The restaurant had a relaxing environment & the staff were prompt with their service & always willing to assist.
An insight to traditional Thai culture that I loved. I highly recommend this resort & would enjoy another visit.
