Riverside Villa

My friend/co-teacher and I had such an amazing experience at 88 Place Villa! Everyone was just very nice and accommodating. I love everything from the view to the room. The pool was just so nice and bunnies run around freely. So relaxing! The place, in general, looked so fancy! If my husband was with me, he'll deinitely compliment the toilet. lol! It was so spacious. Thank you Craig for the lovely experience.

There are many words that could be used to describe 88 Place Chiang Mai but simple is best all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW.
This amazing private resort is without doubt one of the most sensational luxury villas I have ever seen , from the moment you walk through the incredible front entry doors the tranquility and private feeling hits you.
My family enjoyed the few days we had with Craig and his amazingly caring and friendly staff more than any other place we have stayed before.
The suites and bathrooms are all different, beds are amazingly comfortable and the outdoor areas were great for us all to gather and enjoy meals cooked by the 88 Place staff.
The view over the river adds to the calm atmosphere and I just loved the unique"White Buddha" beautifully lit at night along with all the different artifacts and artworks Craig has included everywhere.
Just a huge thanks to everyone at 88 Place for such a great time.

The imposing, hand-carved 300-year old Indian door is a sign that something special lies behind at 88 Place.

We stayed for a night with our family and had a magical experience; There is sizable garden complete with pool and a range of tropical flora overlooks the Ping river. The children were delighted to discover a giant tortoise and parrots, which adds to the exotic atmosphere.

The villa itself is superbly decorated throughout with curios, antiques and stylish modern art on polished concrete wall. The furniture is equally stylish and comfortable. There are all the modern comforts including a state-of-the-art sound system throughout, an enormous flat screen TV but best of all is a games room with pool table and darts.

The common areas include a bar and in and out door dining tables which is just as well because the food is exceptional and individually prepared to guest tastes.

There are six bedrooms all stylishly decorated with every amenity including incredibly comfortable beds that ensure a good night’s sleep.

Highly recommended.

This place is by the riverside and on the main road and offer you luxury stay and give a feeling of home away from home. Rooms are really big with cozy bed and sofa. Our Host Mr.Craig Parking is an amazing person he took us for property round and explain each and everything things about the property we also met one parrot who said hello to us and cute pair of tortoise. My villa was pool facing and it was an amazing experience. We also met Tan he is a nice person and a great chef and entire team at 88 place is always ready to help you they also asked our food preferences and they delighted us with seafood barbecue :).We would love to visit this place again whenever we visit Thailand.

Craig was a lovely host! Welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. I loved the pool, my room was cool and quiet on the hot days, and there was a shared living space. thank you for accommodating me on my visit!

I stayed for a few days at 88 Place at the end of September and was delighted by my time there!

88 Place is exquisite in every detail and in every way. The extensive riverside gardens are themselves an invitation to relax and allow the sweetness of Thailand soak in. Every room was designed and furnished with our ultimate comfort and well being in mind.

Whether dining in the garden, on the rooftop or in the lounge, the well trained staff cared for my every need with warmth and thoughtfulness.

88 Place is near town yet a world apart. This sanctuary was a brilliant find for me and I look forward to returning very soon.

We stayed only one night and was sad to go! The property was intimate, rooms were beyond spacious and the pool was very clean. The owner Craig is friendly and makes sure you are catered to everything from what you'd like for breakfast and what time, to giving you insight on what to do in Chiang Mai. The great hospitality mixed with what this amazing hotel has to offer has made it our favorite hotel stay to date!

We had an amazing time at this wonderful place! We just booked 2 nights but as it was that great we decided to stay longer. The rooms were incredibly and very clean. The stuff is always friendly and tried to help us out with everything. We really felt like home there.
The highlight was the owner for us. A fancy guy who made lots of fun with us and he definitely made our stay in chiang mai greater! He also gave us a lot of good tips what we can do and organised a trip for us :)
We will come back definitely it was the best hotel we‘ve been to!

I consider 88place my home away from home and have been blessed to have been home four times since it was shared with the world and I expect to be back at least once a year for as long as I can travel!

Unparalleled Hospitality, Gorgeous Property
I was in Changmai for business and to see friends and stayed for a week. I have never felt more taken care of in any 5-star hotel or otherwise.
To begin with, the property itself is a beautiful oasis on the river with a pool, solar powered hot tub, comfortable lobby/living room, and several comfortable outdoor seating areas including a large dining table.

I hosted a dinner for 15 people on my first night and the staff custom designed the menu for me and served some of the best Thai dishes my guests and I have ever had.
Eating outdoors in the gorgeous garden area was an added bonus.

The rooms are clean, thoughtfully decorated, and the beds are super comfortable.

Most of all it was the people who worked there that put a personal touch on everything. Each morning a coffee was waiting for me when I woke up and I felt like family.

If you have an opportunity to stay here I highly recommend taking it!

Booked the Villa for a while for a TV Production. Great Villa, great Host, great staff!! Helped us with every problem we had (in or outside the Villa). Felt at home and would love to come back!

Most luxury stay in my travels.
Rooms are spacious, bathroom is perfect, shower pressure strong, bed is most comfortable, strong air conditioning, staff professional, chef is out standing! Coffee like back home, orange juice fresh, western breakfast and Asian oustanding. A lush and healthy garden with river few and fantastic pool. They have big turtles, parrots and chicken running around. There is a pool table, gym equipment, TV for movie nights and plenty places to relax. The 3rd floor has a 360• few. There is a temple on the other side of the river and great walk paths.
Thank to all the staff. You made our holiday extra special.

여행 다닐때 보통 호텔이나 리조트를 이용하는 편인데, 치앙마이 특유의 고즈넉함을 더 잘 느낄 수 있을까하는 마음에 이 곳에 묵게 되었습니다. 개인 별장에 묵는 듯한 착각이 들 정도로 프라이빗한 분위기와 개별적인 서비스 등이 무엇보다 좋았습니다. 특히 별도로 예약할 경우, 저녁식사를 할 수 있는데 그 때 맛본 치앙마이 스타일의 스페셜 디너는 오래도록 잊을 수 없을 것 같습니다. 맛도 맛이지만, 다른 객실에서 머물던 각기 다른 나라에서 온 사람들과 커다란 원목 테이블에 다 함께 모여앉아 처음으로 인사를 나누고 대화하고 웃고 떠들며 먹었던 그 날의 저녁은 그 어느 곳에서도 경험하기 쉽지 않은 것이었습니다. 단순한 stay가 아닌 기억에 오래 남을 경험과 영감을 주었던 곳. 기회가 된다면 다음엔 여럿이 함께 가서 빌라를 통째로 빌려서 이용해도 좋을거같아요! 아, 그곳에 있던 연두색 앵무새들이 헤어질때 Bye 라고 친절하게(?) 인사도 해줬어요.
