Chiangmai Jungle Trekking

The trip was an action packed adventure. Our local guide, Dutchie, was one part comedian, one part expert on everything we hiked past in the jungle. He was fantastic. Be sure to ask him about the tree that changes color when it rains.

We did the tour with the chance of being rained on... and we were indeed rained on. But it just added to the authenticity of our adventure. Be sure to bring your good hiking boots, not runners or trainers or hiking sandals. Some of the damp downhill stretches were at times slippery.

In the lead up to the trip they answered my emails promptly and were very professional and welcoming at all times.

You get to walk with the elephants, feed them and wash them. The jungle trekking was hot but rewarding when you reach the village with the river so you can cool down. The day after we had a nice bamboo rafting with nice view of the jungle all with verry good food in the price included. Abu ja

I did this trip with my friend, we did the 2 day trip. Everything was perfect. The pick up time was 8:00 stipt! The elephants where amazing. We where only with the 2 of us, the elephants where in there natural habitat! Its was great. We had some much fun with our guide San, he was the best! The hike was nice beautiful view. After that we arrived at the village. The people where verry friendly! The food was good and we did some beers 🤙🏻. I never leave a review. But San is the best guide we have ever had. Please if you want to do a hike or go to the elephants book with them!

One of the oldest and still the best. If you want to go into the real jungle and meet village people, walk with elephants, rafting and so much more then this is the place. They also run ElephantLand and Toto Elephant Sanctuary. One of the best operators in CM

Toto (host) is a gem, he know how to make people happy and give them the most in their trip.
I did Mae Taeng tour which included Trekking with elephants, Water Rafting and Mok-Fa Waterfall.
It was extraordinary experience right from the start when toto came to pick from the hotel and coffee on the way.
This time it was to experience trekking with elephants and it was the most breathtaking experience i have ever had in my life followed by river rafting which added as a sense of calm and Mok Fa waterfall if something is left in adventure Mof-fa will satisfy it. Toto's elephant sanctuary is the best and covers a whole lot of jungle to give elephants their natural habitat.

Our trekking experience was absolutely epic! We learned so much about the local plant life and about the lives of our guides while walking through paradise. We happened to be the only ones on the trek that day (or we signed up for a private one by accident) and it was so perfect. We liked how non-touristy it was and the intimate experience with the guides. We especially had incredible time with everyone at the village we stayed. We got to eat with them and visit about life in Chiang Mai and exchanged stories around the fire at night. In the morning we had a bonus elephant feeding session that was very unexpected but so cool. The nearby waterfall from the village was breathtaking and so cool to be able to get in and cool down. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience the Chiang Mai jungles as the locals did growing up. It was absolutely unforgettable! Thanks a lot Cha and Tong, we'll always remember the great times we had with you guys!

Una de las mejores excursiones de nuestro viaje a Tailandia. Es un paseo cómodo de casi 3 horas. No hace falta ropa ni calzado especial, lo puede hacer un niño sin problema. Verás bosques frondosos, mucho frescor, y acabarás con el paisaje impresionante de los campos de arroz, que se clavaran a tu memoria como una de las mejores experiencias. Es un imprescindible, te alegrarás de hacerlo.
