Sinchai is a real master, I really suggest you study with him. His approach is centered on treating the parts of the body where the patients have pain or tension, so you will not find the classic full body thai massage. His style is very simple but very effective. His personality is very kind:)

I'm surprised that there are not many reviews here for a person who is totally popular in Thailand about his therapy.
To be honest I loved the environment in there, very tasty tea break in between class, you won't regret it!
Sinchai is so calm and patient teacher and his style is one-to-one every time he teaches a technique, he shows you first, then he encourages to practice along with him with a body language approach (cause he is blind) and then you practice on him so he gives you a totally different perspective of feedback from the spacial intelligence point of view and the touch and amount of pressure we do.
The course is focus on providing techniques for cases of study on different structural problems, so he uses different things depending on the situation, so don't expect him to set a curriculum for you guys just learn how to flow and learn from his experience as there are no levels in here.
You pay 600 Baht every class and to get the certificate of 20 hours you need to assist 10 times and you get a booklet of the major manoeuvres he uses.
I never had been teach in this way in which you feel supported by the touch of the teacher I think this is the basis and everyone should learn before learning advanced techniques of Thai Massage.
Though Sinchai thinks that one can learn consistently only for 2 hours. So the content that you learn per day is a little and the class may feel slow for those who are used to being bombard by information like in other schools. But here whatever you learn at the end of the day you feel confident that you can perform it well.
I will give you straight information so you have an idea about the dynamic of his course.
2022 November update: Now Ajarn Sinchai teaches at his home place.
Therapies: Everyday Monday to Friday morning after 9 and generally visits between 13:00-16:00 with previous appointment.
For the course class is 16:30 to 18:30
At 16:00 his wife picks the students from the gas station of Northern gate and any gate of the old town when requested, she drops out in the same place after the class and no charges for this.
Course setting and Style: Sinchai worked in hospital many years and he has developed his own techniques from a mixture of manual Thai blind massage + Shiatsu + Some movements influenced by Western doctors which he had worked with. I studied with Anjan Sinchai for 4 weeks and I've been treated multiples time for sleepy nerves arms condition. On my last class I cried. It's not so easy to find such an incredible Human Being on Earth.

His therapeutic massage style is far from "no pain no gain" one. His touch is gentle but very effective and I can tell from my own arms personal experience! So it's interesting to see how the power of healing others doesn't come only from techniques but also from a caring and loving heart and he has a very big and compassionate one.

His knowledge comes from 37 years experience working in the hospital. This wise man knows exactly how to help if you have chronic pain conditions.

Teaching wise, he is very clear explaining his technique, making you repeat untill you get it right. If you are in a wrong position, he found out straight away even if he cannot see you. He gives variations to treat different body type, suggesting what to do and what to avoid both for client and for yourself, to not get hurt while working and preserving your energy.

But most important to me, he teaches you how to touch, support, slow down and being relaxed while working.

If you study Thai massage get at least a treatment from him, which is also very affordable from such a master, and experience yourself! You can easily call him and book one.

Kuhn Ajarn Sinchai has blown me away. I studied with him and also received a treatment from him that liberated my stuck hip. I had thought it would be like that forever.
I had heard about Sinchai -the old blind master of therapeutic Thai massage for years before I finally went to study with him.
I had been practicing Thai massage for a few years already and wanted to learn more - especially as more and more people come to me with problems or injuries.
This is Sinchai's specialty - he worked for years in the local hospital system, helping rehabilitate people.
As a teacher he is gentle and compassionate. When it comes to his treatments, underlying his gentleness is a power that I can only hope to emulate.
He works softly as first as he gauges the problem - people with injuries often don't need much power behind the touch.
But when he uses his power in his massage techniques, he uses his whole body to deliver an expertly delivered elbow, thumb, palm or finger pressure.
I learned so much about technique from him. Of how to approach an injury or area of tightness. I learned new techniques that seemed so gentle, but delivered powerful results.
His wife is lovely and brings snacks in the middle of the lessons. She also offers a pick up service to bring students to their home for the evening classes.
I will be back next year to learn more from this amazing man. I also recommend anyone with a problem to make an appointment with his for a treatment. There's no-one else like him.

Ajarn Sinchai is a very giving and loving teacher we’ve ever learned from. He is skillful yet he is a humble human being. My husband and I went to him for our post injuries treatments while we came to visit our home in Thailand for a short period of time. We were lucky to have found him. We both felt much better and could move our body parts that were under stress better after our first session with him, so we went back to see him for about 5 more times due to time constraints of our stay in Thailand.

Excellent massage work and amazing lessons. Core lessons can be learned in 2-3 sessions but recommend spending a full week to really internalize knowledge well enough to use in a non guided setting. Pickups from Thapae Gate if you don't have a motorcycle already.
