TBB Tours

We did the Mae Hong Son Tour with the TBB company.
It was an absolutely amazing experience.
The circuit is an absolute delight for motorcycling lovers.
The multiple bends and loops are a dream for any biker. And the roads of the entire circuit are smooth as butter for the most part, with an exceptional bad patch.
Complemented with reasonably good road manners of the local populace.
As regards the tour organisers, Jeff was as warm and accommodating as he was professional. He took care of all of us in an endearingly friendly manner, made us feel at ease and was willing to go that extra mile to attend to our personalised needs.
His better half, Aw, who was our chaperone as well as guide for the local sightseeing, was ‘Awsome’, akin to her name.
Both of them added an extra layer of goodness and warmth to our sojourn.
The bikes were all well maintained and in good condition, with nary a fault during our entire trip.
All in all, a fantastic trip, with memories that will last a lifetime.
A big thank you to Aw & Jeff once again.
Looking forward to the next one with Jeff and gang to Laos.

PS. Please carry your food with you if you are a vegetarian, cause that’s a bit of a glitch at some of the places. With very limited to no options at the odd place.

I just finished the 10 day tour of northern Thailand with Jeff and Aw. I’ve ridden across and all over the US…a New Englander who has lived in CA and CO and have carved the canyons. At the age of 71, many, many seat hours. This tour was the best riding I have ever done. Thailand, the people, the roads, the food, the weather, and most importantly Jeff and Aw… just the best. And, the accommodations were great with all meals and sight attraction fees included. Can’t beat the value. I’d never traveled that far and I’d say, just get on that plane and do it. I plan to do it again and bring my riding buddies

A 'must do' for any trail/dirt bike rider!
Just brilliant! We have been on a few tours now and this one was by far the best organised and most enjoyable. The local track knowledge of Duncan gave us a real variety of riding (we did the 7 day dirt bike tour) as well as offering insights and background information on many of the places we visited. Having two fluent Thai speaking people was priceless and just made the whole trip so much more smoother to navigate both on and off the bikes. A genuine 'thankyou' to Duncan and the amazing Bo for looking after us all and providing us with lifelong memories. Cheers !

Just completed the mai Hong son loop,it was everything and more this trip was planned before covid so it's been a long time coming.This was a bucket list adventure with a twist !!didn't have a clue who our tour guide was going to be and wow did they make it special for us.
Fred and myself cannot that Marcus and his wife tik enough,he's a true gentleman and real biker and together they make a great team with her knowledge and understanding of the language making it a trip to remember for ever.
Can't thank them enough....

Thank you to Duncan and Bo for an amazing 5 day off road tour. Everything was top notch - bikes, routes, accommodation, food and especially the welcoming refreshing towel and cold beer at the end of each hot and dusty riding day!

I am a repeat client for TBB since 2014. Four tours in 10 years, absolutely my first choice of tour in Thailand. Recently, last week October 24 - 28 I was on a tour led by Jeff alongwith my friends. It was fun on the road and off riding too. Great Pitstops and hotels. An enjoyable experience overall. Won’t wink an eye for another tour with TBB, one can see the passion that’s gone into these tours.

Wow! I've just completed the South to North leg of the bikes and beach's tour 2024 and I'm already planning the next one!

For anyone considering doing a bike tour in Thailand I can't recommend too highly talking to the guys at TBB. They are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.
There cannot be a better way to see a country than riding, and what a great country. The people, the scenery, the roads, the beaches, the food and the riding all hard to beat and all expertly led by Jeff and Duncan who make the whole experience easy from first contact to final handshake.

We recently did a 5 day off road tour setting off from Chiang Mai. We all had a fantastic time, the riding and locations were amazing. Even the short tarmac sections at the start/end of some days were superb. We were looked after incredibly well the whole time by Duncan and Bo with a cold beer ready and our bags in our room on arrival each day, and superb food organised for us every night. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

British run place to rent with great staff and good service. I rented a CB500X for Mae Hong Son loop which had 35,000k but was mechanically faultless. I also had a minor accident which split the engine guard but as it had a previous weld there was no charge. They do have additional insurance if you want it. They do ask for your passport which was a little worrying but proved unfounded. Highly recommended and would definitely rent with them again.

WOW! this place... this motorcycle ride was awesome. Jeff was our lead guide and Limbo was our tail - they were both amazing... totally custom tour just for my husband and I - and if you like to go fast - he goes fast... if you like to go slow he goes slow. Both our bikes were clean, well maintained, the gear wasn't cheap or broken, etc. We never got separated and he took us to some really cool unique sites that you probably won't get to see with any other guide.

Do yourself a favor and don't look any further - this place is top notch - Also, they're British... if you speak no Thai and only English and you've been in Thailand for a little while.. you'll find this very refreshing!

I booked the Mae Hong Son loop ride from 14/03 to 17/03/22. I was expecting a big group for the ride but pleasantly found out that i was the only person on the tour. My guides Marcus and Tik were the most awesome guides that i have met. As it was only me, both Marcus and Tik were really flexible with what i wanted to see along the way, however i must admit that i had no idea what to expect in terms of the attractions along the way but Marcus and Tik constantly gave me suggestions on what was available. The ride itself was quite enjoyable as Marcus was very knowledgable about the route, and in addition to that, Tik's knowledge about the local dialact and attractions off the beaten path were second to none. As for the bike itself, i rented the Vstrom 650, after a through check at the TBB office, did provide me with a solid and enjoyable ride. Aside from the FI light popping up occasionally on the bike's dashboard, there were no problems at all with the bike. Pre-tour, all my emails regarding the package were promptly replied by Jeff, who was very clear in replying to all my queries.

I would highly recommend those who want to experience an adventure on a motorcycle up the northern hills of Thailand to book with TBB tours, you will not be disappointed! Khob khun jaao! 🙏

Bikes and Beaches fab holiday with surfing snorkelling crocodiles and monkeys all thrown in. Highly recommended.

Great place to rent a (big) motorcycle. Friendly English staff, motorcycle was in perfect condition. Would definitely rent again from them.

We've been renting off-road and road bikes from Jeff & Duncan for over a year and were always super happy! Great bikes, good gear (especially helmets, jackets etc for off-road) and fair pricing. But the best: a personal touch! Send them an email before you plan to book something and ask for good routes - these guys know northern Thailand like no one else! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Had a great tour with 5 friends from Chiang Mai to Laos for 7 days and TBB provided excellent service by guiding us all the trip. The tour was perfectly arranged with all boarder crossing, hotel arrangements and riding on exceptional roads for bikes. Special thanks for Duncan who guided us on the bike and Bo who followed us and did all the admin arrangements. Highly recommended. The bikes rented were in very good conditions. Well done guys.

No words to explain how professional they are: highest level of customer service and really excellent bikes, very well maintained. Especially was surprised by tires quality. Everything was so smooth and easygoing, even the depositing passport issue which concerned me the most however turned out to be just formal insurance.

My partner and I rented a Honda CB500F and Kawasaki ER6 for five days. Alex made everything simple and straightforward when I booked and when we picked up the bikes. He also extended our return time free of charge because we picked them up late in the afternoon. We even left a bag of stuff with them so we didn't have to load it on the bikes. The bikes worked well and were lots of fun all five days. Simple drop off to return.

We did the 6 day offroad tour of Northern Thailand. Duncan guided and was very good. We highly recommend this company! Very easy to do the booking. Duncan seems to know every random road in Northern Thailand and adjusted the ride based on weather as well as our ability. We had an amazing time! Even had time to go ride elephants in Pai and see some really rural villages. I highly recommend going this way vs. planning on your own. 100% recommend these guys. Bikes were also in good condition and no nit picky stuff from them. Only had to cover our beer! Amazing.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! I dispense advice easily but I'm opinionated rarely. However It is my pleasure to write this review. It was an absolute wonderful experience from start to finish. The assistance and assessments were prompt, friendly and professional. The bike was well maintained and in near spotless condition and out of choice I choose the more seasoned between my 2 choices. I took the Honda CB500X. It was a joyous ride and chiang mai is the ideal place to explore on a nice bike. The ride plan was suggestive and initially we were skeptical. But, I'm glad for the suggestions because they exceeded my expectations. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to rent a bike. It is a pleasure and breeze from start to finish (besides the necessary formalities). They require you to leave your passport as a deposit and I'm very very very apprehensive about that usually but, they took top care of it and I couldn't have felt safer. I was late in returning the bike and wasn't to sure what that entailed but because they noticed that the delay was for nothing but the pleasure of having a good experience they even made the exception and didn't charge me for the extra. Guess it's truly about the sport and they just want you to have a good time. Thank again Tony's Big bikes. I will definitely return soon. Dream, Discover & Explore!
