You can bring small pet here for small additonal cost. But have to make sure the pet doesnt cause any permanent stain or damage.

The view is beautiful, at night it is quiet and good time to drink beer with friends or romantic night with your spouse.

I have a wonderful time here

I stayed in a bungalow and paid for the view. The room had everything I expected for the price and was comfortable. The balcony was awesome. I'm glad we got there in time to catch the view because in the morning it was clouded over. We were there in October and didn't need the A/C to sleep. The restaurant food was good including breakfast.

Our group 5 stayed at Phumektawan Resort on Wed 19 Apr 23?was a good one. We were well received by the Resort’s friendly & Efficient family staffs n were quickly ushered to our East Facing Chalet to settled down for the night n prepare for dinner. Our Chalets had Good East facing as we can view the sunrise from our units’ balcony. Overall view was good n Location is good. Room facilities n service was good too.
Dinner was sumptious, good n reasonable. After dinner we were served nice hot local homegrown green tea, foc. Vegan Breakfast was specially prepared for us as one of our friend is a vegan. Overall stay at Phumektawan Resort very happy n easy. Good work 老闆娘👍🏻👍🏻💖😃😃we will come again

Extremely friendly owner who really make sure guests enjoy themselves. For travelling in Mae salong, owner even offered to lend their motorcycles for free to get drinks from nearby stalls.

Owner and their daughter in law speaks both Mandarin and English so communication is easy.

Breath taking views, super clean and really comfortable beds. It had AC and a fan but we didn't need it the weather was perfect. The balcony was the best. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. At breakfast which was good the owner came by to visit with all the guests and she was very nice. Espresso and tea were very good also.

We stayed here for the night due in our motorbike trip around Chiang Rai province. The owners of the resort are incredibly hospitable and offered us tea and snacks the moment we sat down. They took such great care of us since! We stayed in one of the suites overlooking the mountains with a beautiful balcony where you could sip your beverage and watch the sun set. We had dinner here as well, it was delicious. We highly recommend this stay if you are going through the area. We will be back!

The room is so large for two. The view is so nice and spectacular. You can see sunset and sunrise by your balcony. Clean room/bathroom. Very pleasant staff. Nice weather. Local breakfast like hommade cabbage stir in fish sauce, Pa-ting-koh, tea.

In the middle of December to January, I think the weather will so cold and will be a good time to stay.
October was a little bit warmer for me.

Stunning Mountain View on the balcony! The room has enough space. Weather is cool at Mae Salong, u won’t get a chance to open AC.
All staffs r kind and heartwarming in this resort.
It 100 percent worth it’s price.

Great rooms/bungalows with amazing views overlooking the surrounding mountainside. What the family managing the place lack in English skills they make up for with friendliness and hospitality. Breakfast in the roadside cafe was delicious, with excellent cappuccino to boot!

We hike and had to stop at this place for a drink. Owner offered free green tea for us when we only ordered a iced ovaltine! The green tea is great. We were stuck and asked for help to travel to Mae Salong town proper (can’t walk any more), owner (and his wife) was very helpful and asked his staff to use motorbike to send us there (with nominal cost paid to the staff). Staffs were very friendly and helpful as well (despite we merely ordered an iced ovaltine!) Thank you very much!

I was here for a night and is reallu great place to rest. Owner and his wife is very friendly. You can find nothing here like bar, pub for those who like clubing but you will find fresh air, good view and most important you really escape from busy town. Enjoy fresh air, foggy early morning, nice sunset view and full moon view at night time and most important enjoy local food cooked by owner's wife. Is really great place to rest and charge your energy before back to your real world.

We stopped here for lunch, the view is excellent and the food was good. While we were walking back to town the owner drove by us in her pickup and offered us a ride back to town. She was very kind to us. Later, we met another Taiwanese guy staying in the village who said he walks to this place every day to eat lunch, have coffee and enjoy the view.

Excellent views. Friendly staff. Enough English to communicate. Food is good. Rooms are great with beautiful views. Accesible with a car or big motorcycle... NOT automatic scooters. Lmao, we barely made it and with help from a Thai teacher who saw we're not going to make it. 😁 It was worth it tho. Really beautiful. 7Eleven close by. Will definitely return..... with a bigger bike hahahaha. Nevertheless great location and views.

Delightful and impressive staff: allowed us to borrow their motorbike for free, arranged a commute to Chiang Saen with locals, also free. Just helped as out in every need! Nice breakfast, good and cheap dinner. Beautiful surroundings, nice view from the balcony, really comfortable bed and room was wide and clean. Must go, and do not miss the chance to interact with the staff, they are lovely, GREAT PEOPLE indeed!!!!!
