Baan Hom Samunphrai

Such a unique and lovely place. Stayed here while my wife took the Thai massage course. I was accompanying her (not taking the course myself) and looking to relax while there — that was not only possible there but was perhaps on of the most relaxing places I’ve ever been to!

The food was amazing, the staff was attentive and lovely, the herbal steam baths were healing — I want to go back! Thank you, Homprang, Christopher, and everyone else who welcomed us and made us feel at home there!

I have been here for only a week and this is the most beautiful well run school I have ever been to for yoga or Thai massage training. From the comfort and quality of the accommodations to the amazing healthy food and most importantly the quality of instruction. Many teachers are here to answer questions, demonstrate techniques and ensure that one is learning properly. As an experienced practitioner I am very challenged to correct my habits and learn anew. I can imagine returning here to maintain my education.

Baan Hom Samunprhai is one of my most favorite places on this earth. Homprang's wealth of knowledge springs from her very being, as one in a long line of Traditional Thai Healers, this is the world she grew from. In addition to her generosity in sharing her wisdom, she is also down to earth, hilarious, compassionate - a wonderful and amazing human to be around. As is everyone else in the Baan Hom Samunphrai family. Bang & Anne, her teaching assistants, went above and beyond in supporting our learning, giving one on one focus and attention in a sweet, light hearted and yet thorough way.
This is a place for people who are dedicated to learning. Though the schedule can feel intense at times, because they take such amazing care of their students - all feels completely do-able and balanced. All the nutritious and delicious daily meals prepared for us, daily herbal steam baths, our houses kept clean and tidy, all within the gorgeous medicinal gardens of Baan Hom. Aaaah - it was so hard to leave!! I hope I can find a way to make it back before too long. I left feeling stronger and healthier than when I arrived and with a wealth of learning that will keep developing for years to come. Thank you Baan Hom Samunphrai for all your wisdom, nurture, support, welcoming and encouraging spirit and for spreading this invaluable therapeutic wisdom through the world via your students.

Lady Homprang is a professional coach for Thai Yoga and Massage. I've learned a lot from her.

The environment here is natural and the meal is delicious. I especially love to stay in the old wooden house.

They offer 4 kinds of thai massage in this centre. It's worth a try for female who needs special care in womb.

Super good Thai massage in tranquil garden of wooden house. Indulged by the master of Thai massage for 3 hours, followed by steam spa and pool. Feel rebirth afterwards. Definitely will come again!

Baan has healing hands. You can discuss body issues with her if you must, but trust that she intuitively knows already.

Soon I will tell you what I experienced in this school which is located next to a cemetery, annoying and blood-sucking mosquitoes, a stingy owner who always complained, the food was poor and unsatisfying, at the height of the heat there is no air conditioning, hard mattresses and not suitable for sleeping, terrible treatment, my mother was dying, I was crying and in pain, the only thing What they had to say was, that I am quoting Christopher, the famous husband, Christopher said that I am a problematic woman, why, because I asked to change my sheets when I was sweating without air conditioning in the room and in the whole place itself, Christopher loves Thai women who are devoted to him every moment he asks. I recorded conversations that were There... this is just the beginning. The teaching staff, the kitchen and the masseuse were great. The owners are disgusting, and yes I will tell about a couple of bad Germans and an Austrian... I have a reference for everything..
