Novotel Phuket Resort

Amazing view. Three pools to choose from. Generally amazing staff. I feel it would be unfair to leave less than a 5 star review but there were some negatives from our stay here.

It's a bit out of the way so you will find that you will need taxi's/bolt. There is a shuttle service to the shopping centre but it doesn't run during lunchtime or dinner time for some odd reason.

A couple of interactions with the staff were a bit off. Arguing over our room service order? Although generally they were great.

The breakfast buffet was not inspired at all. There is so much amazing food in Thailand, just not here.

The rooms were rundown but we knew that going in.

Overall I don't regret staying here, but I don't think I will be back.

Very very happy we booked this hotel. The rooms were great with excellent service. A beautiful view from the family room. Good air conditioning in the rooms and plenty of bottled water provided. Breakfast had a great variety of food.

The staff were all so lovely smiling and accommodating, and extremely hard working. Specially Bow, Sak & Oahan.

The shuttle up and down the hill was such a life saver and the friendly workers at the bottom helped us cross the street. A very quick walk to the beach and shops, great location.

Can’t say enough about this place, absolutely wonderful, if anyone is complaining they must be really hard to please and need to open their eyes to how hard these people work to give us such a great place to stay. It is very much appreciated from us. And above all very kids friendly ..

One of the hotels where it was really pleasant to stay in, you thought you entered heaven.

The forest atmosphere and the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms with a sea view made the mood very good. The service and cleaning are really excellent and the location is very strategic.

I had a spa treatment at the hotel spa and it was amazing.

I had a fantastic stay with rooms overlooking the ocean and mountains. The highlight of my experience was the in-house sports team, especially Beat, Bank, and Mad. They assisted with pool accessories and organized Table Tennis games throughout my stay. I had a wonderful time playing TT and at the pool, thanks to them. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel.

This resort is perfectly located in Patong, close enough to the hustle and bustle but not too close that it is overwhelming. The buffet breakfast had everything you could want and very good coffee. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a pool access room which was absolutely fantastic. Loved feeling like we had our own secluded pool. Although the resorts pools are great as well. The in house shuttle was perfect and they even offer a shuttle to the main shopping mall in Patong. Everything is so convenient and well-thought out. Check-in could have been a bit better but it doesn't detract from the score as it was a small thing in an overall great stay!

I had a wonderful experience at the Novotel thanks to the excellent reception staff. Initially i booked a seaview deluxe room which was lovely but there are sound insulation issues as they have connecting rooms. I went down early the next morning and spoke to "Film" who was wonderful. She was caring, took time and effort to relocate to another quiet room which also turned out to be an upgrade room 801. The room was wonderful and looked like a family room without the bunk beds. The view and balcony was outstanding. There was no noise from next door, the bed was very comfortable and had a huge bath to relax and a proper desk to work as i worked remotely the next day. The wifi had Aruba access points in the room and i was getting 200/200 mbps so perfect.
I had room service for dinner which was good and i also ate in the sky view restaurant for lunch which was good. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and i enjoyed the choice of pools. Super easy access to the beach via a pathway with sperate door entrance.
I will definitely be back. Thank you "Film" once again for excellent customer service. I found all staff to be friendly and helpful. "Hong" at reception was also very helpful and polite.

One should have this experience once in a life time. Sea facing Property with amazing amenities. Gentle staff will always ready to help you. An overseas corporate meeting and Sales meets could also be arranged here. All in all, it was Wonderful to be here.

Amazing hotel. The 3 pools were very picturesque, while the room was extremely spacious. The shuttle service was also exceptional, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast could use a bit of more variety, but was overall decent.

We just got back from Phuket and we stayed here the entire stay on the island. Everybody was extremely accommodating and very nice to us the room service was good the staff were very very friendly and it's in a beautiful location with a wonderful view of the beach and the Thailand sunsets. We would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again on our next trip

Wow, first impression when you enter the lobby and see the view! It's on the hill so you get a gorgeous view of patong.
Spend time at the pool, it's clean, you get good sunbeds and amazing view! Sunset has not looked any better!

Rooms are clean and acceptable. Good balcony too.
Breakfast buffay has options for every taste. Again good view while you dine.

You can not go wrong with the price! Just get enough days to spend not only exploring phucket but also have time to really be at the hotel

Place has been great. Our room is great as bunks in the corner for kids but it’s out of the way so nice and neat. The only downside is the tiled floor it’s very slippery
Service has been great and location well don’t really mind so much as happy to stay by the pool.

Beautifull hotel and lovely staff in a perfect location with a stunning view on the sae from your balcony or swimming pool area. Nice and clean room looked after any time you need the service. Huge breakfast choice everyone including kids can find something for themselves. Garden around the hotel is amazing and lots of work and care is put into it every day. Hotel has a shuttle bus to drive their guests up and down the hill and royal guards that would help you to pass busy street. This hotel is located at a perfect location. Very close to patong beach, amazing views, great swimming pool along with nice food restaurants.

Just checked in. What a beautiful property. I knew it was good but it’s way beyond that. What a service upon checkin by Ms. Julie and Mr. Benz. The Transport desk is so superb n very very very affordable vehicles. Do opt for Tuktuks. Cheap airy n quick. Got a perfect ocean view balcony. Ammazing checkin experience. Room was ammmmazing n so crisp n clean. Ordered food at 2AM n it was so so tasty. Staying for 5 nights. Will add more later.

Location is just superb at the mouth of Patong and has a 711 1 min walk. So stuff your fridge.

Gym is ammazing

Three pools. Pool two is good n is about 5 feet. Bar at Pool 3 which is a kids pool.
Only downside the bathroom is seriously tiny.

The Skybar is superb for drinks

We stayed here for a week and it was the best decision in our life. The security guards, the bell boys, the housekeepers, the towel men, breakfast staff, and the receptionist (young male) gave us the warmest welcome. They took care of us in a very professional, the most friendly way one could ever have. We got the sea view room and it was stunning. We could imagine going back to this resort again in the future if we choose it stay at Patong again. One of the best resorts you could ever stay in Phuket. The atmosphere was super greenery, serene, convenient, everything you could ever imagine to have on your holidays.

The only drawback was the weak wifi but come on, you're on holiday, might wanna stay away from all the social media for a while. ;) I could go on and on about how great this Novotel is but I prefer to stop it right here. Such a great hotel chain and their people! I would definitely come back if I have a chance!

Novotel Phuket Resort is one of the best holiday resort in Phuket. The serenity and pleasure of the resort lies in its location. The resort is situated on the cliff and very close to Patong beach. Our check in experience was not very great as our rooms were not ready for more than 2 hours post check in time, but after talking to RDM Mr. Edward he made sure we get rooms in time as well he helped us with other great complimentary coupons. Jacky, Molly l, AU, EL from the kids area were very helpful. Great stay great resort and one of the best surely.
